My family and I enjoyed a great meal at Tasty Dim Sum on a Sunday afternoon. It was our first time trying it and we were not disappointed. The wait for our party of 4 was about 15 minutes. The food came out pretty quick and was delicious. It's a smaller restaurant so it'd be great for to-go orders or a quick meal. The servers were friendly and efficient. We asked one of them if some of the items we ordered contained milk due to an allergy and he answered no, but also went to double check just in case. We appreciated that. Parking lot was ample, food was delicious, service friendly, and prices pretty low, so we will definitely be back!

The dumpling wrappers were completely overcooked and fell apart.

First time dining here, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The dumpling wrappers were completely overcooked and fell apart. We also waited a very long time for our noodles to arrive. The whole chicken was served without a knife--we were only given a pair of scissors. At the very least, a small knife should have been provided. What surprised me the most was the takeout service. When we asked to pack the leftovers, we were simply handed a plastic bag and expected to pack the chicken ourselves. There wasn't even a takeout container, nor did anyone offer to cut the chicken into smaller pieces before packing it. I've honestly never experienced takeout service like this at any other restaurant. I understand the restaurant was busy and possibly understaffed, but the service was virtually nonexistent. The overall environment also felt disorganized and not very clean, which made me question whether proper hygiene standards were being maintained during such a busy time. The food itself was okay, but nothing memorable. Unfortunately, the poor service and lack of attention to basic customer care overshadowed the meal. I hope the restaurant improves its customer service, cleanliness, and overall organization, as there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.

I'm pretty basic, I just get the beef rice roll when I'm craving it. I always call it in and it's ready when I arrive, no complaints, it hits my craving every time, and it's consistent, so 5/5 stars for me.

I walked in and was seated right away as I arrived early to catch a flight. I received the service I am used to at dim sum locations - no one came over to ask for my order. Instead they have a QR code that sends the order to the kitchen which, as I observed others flagging down the staff must not have been a hit. It is very efficient once people get used to it. Food was as expected - not the best dim sum and definitely not the worst. I would go again if in the area.

Great place to fulfill dim sum crave. The menu is quite simple and offer the majority of what people like to order in more complete variations restaurants. The highlight is the tea presentation, which to me quite nice. Everything served was delish. Siu Mai was quite meaty, the BBQ rice roll was surprisingly great taste in rice roll. Price wise - compared to other dim sum place is likely $1 higher.

We love going to this place for dim sum. We usually go all the way to Orange County for it, but this place is more local and just as good! Everything always comes out so fresh and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The shu mai is super juicy and delicious. The service is always really good and there is plenty of seating inside. Very clean and positive environment. Everything is 10 out of 10.

Finally checked out a dim sum place in chino hills! We ordered pineapple egg custard bun, bbq pork bun, fried seaweed shrimp, and shu mai. Our favorite was the shu mai since the pork had so much flavor! The bbq pork bun was not bad but wish there was more meat filling inside! The seaweed shrimp order was a bit too oily for me but first bite was good, so if you like fried stuff it is good. The pineapple egg custard has a nice taste as well but I wish there was more custard in the inside. It was interesting that the filling contained pineapple though! Service is quick, and servers are attentive. Not as much seating inside so we had to wait about 20 minutes on a Sunday to eat lunch.

Guys, I have been here for like 4 times, and I live in chino. I had to say that their dim sum is very authentic and delicious in HK culture. I had to shout out to the waitress Shirley, and she is very friendly, and professional on her job. She knows how to explain menu in a great knowledge, and her serving attitude is top! You all have to try this tasty dim sum house!

Easy parking in a strip mall setting. The service here is fast and efficient. The servers are welcoming. They have a limited number of options, but everything on the menu tastes above average. The highlight was the Braised Beef Daikon, the meat was a flavorful bomb, that was juicy, perfectly balanced by the Daikon. The budding toddler yelper also really enjoyed the pineapple buns. Overall worth a look and more if you are into dim sum.

This restaurant has limited seatings and are not suitable for big groups. We were able to get a big round table at the end of the restaurant but that was the only big table in the whole restaurant. They told us to scan the QR code for menu and thats how we placed our orders. They don't have a complete dim sum, but the essentials were there, shu mai, har gow, baked lava bun, baked pork dumplings, steamed spare ribs, and spicy wontons. They didn't have a crispy noodle and some items were already gone. We also tried ordering the flat noodles but it never came out. The spicy wonton had no spice and the flavors were off, it had too much vinegar and again, no spice. My favorite were the shumais and the baked lava buns.

It's better than the 3.5 stars it gets. It should be at least 4 stars. The shrimp dumplings were great, along with the pork soup dumplings.

Yet the menu is a small but authentic set of items, mostly Shanghai style. The good: the food was mostly excellent. The 生煎包 (panfried pork buns) was one of the best I've had in the U.S. , 荠菜肉丝炒年糕 (rice cake with shepherds purse and shredded pork) was a really nice texture and flavor, and braised eel 鳝鱼 what is a rarely found dish in the US and quite tasty. The bad: prices were high but this would be ok if it weren't for... The ugly: the service is literally the worst I've ever experienced at a restaurant. When we first sat down, we were one of only three tables so service was swift and reasonable, but pretty quickly the restaurant filled up and we stopped getting our food. In fact, we never got two out of the three items we originally ordered. It also took multiple tries to get more pan fried pork buns, and when they eventually came 45 mins later, they were soggy and not nearly as good as the first batch. We also never got water refills and the three guests who came later just never got water. Finally, I pointed out a hair in one of the dishes, and they never even offered any compensation. The waiters kept forgetting in general. If I'm craving this stuff, I might come during a less busy time. Sadly, the bar for that might be a little high due to this poor experience.

They have since expanded to San Gabriel, Chino Hills, Monrovia. Chino Hills location is the newer one with modern decor, clean and seems to offer more items. It offers plenty of seats. Service is friendly, but they are very shorthanded. The kitchen and counter will have to help clean up. It's around 9am, I ordered iced soy milk which is premade, you just grab from refrigerator. It tastes good, but fairly standard. I think hot is the way to go for fresh ones. And for breakfast I picked salty rice ball with pickled vegetable; for $7.50 this is more traditional type. And more expensive. It's wrapped with soft and warm glutinous rice, crispy chinese donuts, pork floss, preserved mustard greens(extra cost), preserved radish. Taste is more savory. They offer and push for purple rice type, I will try it next time. My suggestions are to install order kiosks at all locations. And have help with cleanup and other tasks of location is busy. I got it with the purple rice for a slightly healthier alternative than the standard white rice. The purple rice is 50 cents more, but definitely worth it. The roll itself came with the Chinese Doughnut, Pork Rousung, or dry shredded pork, and the pickled vegetables. The roll was totally delicious and was a great snack to carry around. The regular roll is $6.75 before tax. They have a lot of frozen and refrigerated items, that includes frozen dumplings and chilled soy milk. They also have a lunch menu here of different Taiwanese-style soups and rice plates. Will have to try it next time. They accept cards here with a $20 minimum purchase, or just bring cash. Plenty of parking outside.
