We ordered Tortas for dinner and the bread was super burned and hard. We called and were told to go back, we did and the short, chubbier lady was super rude and said it's not burned it's toasted. I then said no it's burned and she told to calm down. New Tortas were made and nothing else was offered for our time and trouble. Bye Felicia won't be coming back here again.

Great local business in a shopping plaza off the 805. Plenty of parking. Seems to be a hit with locals, both walk ins and phone orders. My friend got the Chango Mango, which came in a massive portion and was almost like a sweet icee. I opted for a turkey torta. So good! Crunchy, warm bread. Filled with lettuce, jalapeño, and spicy sauce. Generous turkey and cheese. Loved it. Service was organized, friendly, and prompt. Great spot!

If I'm looking for a good torta I always support my local fruterías. Chango mango is my favorite place close to home with the best people behind the counter. Their torta de lomo (add queso de panela of course) is my order every time and you really get the best bang for your buck with how much they stuff their tortas. I also love how they make it the perfect level of spicy (in my opinion) and I wash it down with one of their freshly made aguas or licuados. Everything comes out fast, delicious, and consistent and I'll come back every time.

Great food stand/ bar in Chula Vista. Fresh fruits and vegetables. The agua fresca pineapple, cucumber lemon and watermelon are delicious. Delicious fruit salad fresh, crispy fruits. Reasonable priced. Average portion

This little spot reminds me of "La Michoacana" to a certain extent with the items that they offer. I was instantly greeted and ordered an UBE Açaí bowl and although it was great the "UBE" portion was pre frozen and packaged in the container that they then added the fresh and frozen fruits to and had to wait for it to thaw it before eating it.

These tortas are massive, and very tasty. We had an Obesa and a veggie with panela. Great flavor, lots of filling. Nice people. We didn't eat there, but if you are at the hotel next door, this is awesome.

That alone made me feel like the wait wasn't wasted. We tried a variety of tacos, and everything was solid. The spicy pork (which actually isn't that spicy) was super flavorful and easy to eat. I will highly recommend even if you don't handle spice well. The beef tongue was another standout, it is tender, rich, and really well done. Ordering can be a little confusing at first since you line up by meat and then pay separately, but once you figure it out, it's part of the experience. If you're in San Diego, this place is pretty much a must-try. I'd come back again just for these tacos.

How it works: you'll enter the business, grab a tray, go window to window collecting your choice of street style tacos. Once you're ready to eat, you'll purchase your final picks with the cashier. While this spot is affordable, it's not cheap. These tacos quickly add up and you could easily spend $20-30 a person depending on your hunger level. I tried a number of carne asada tacos, the cactus tacos, a tostada, quesadilla, and French fries. It's hard to choose a favorite since each item is so uniquely delicious.

Just be more patient and mindful that they're doing the best they can Food 5/5 -mixed(surtido) and cheek(cachete) tacos, meat is TENDER. I honestly can't taste the difference between the two, I just knew I wanted to keep eating them(even after eating 3). Sturdy tortillas so the tacos weren't falling apart as I was eating, I also really liked that each table had two squeeze bottles of salsa, so convenient -orden/order, if you come here, you have to order this soup with the head meat. It's the essence that sums up the restaurant, it's a little peppery with the sweetness from the diced onions and meaty goodness. It comes with about 4 tortillas and there's a lot of meat in the soup to be made into more tacos Ambiance 5/5 -restaurant was full of people eating food happily(obviously the food was delicious) and there was a guy that sang for donations and vendors that came through selling trinkets, just a mixing pot of life and happy place to eat

I've had the pulpo tostada and taco multiple times and they're always amazing, super fresh and never overcooked. I usually get the macho sauce on the side so I can spice it up to my level lol. My family has also tried the tuna tostada, micheladas, chilaquiles, and even Dino nuggets for the kids, everything has been consistently great every time we go. The service is always on point, the ambiance is nice, and it's in a great central location. We usually stop by Wood Market afterward to grab a few things. Highly recommend! definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to. Also, shoutout to the Convoy location, it's just as good!

Even though we were a bit late for the breakfast menu, they still let us order the Smoked fish, Gobernador, and Pork Belly-quiles. I loved the flavors, and it had just the right amount of spice I prefer. I also had a Mango-rita that snuck up on me in a good way. We each tried all three plates, and all agreed they were sumptuous. Everyone running the restaurant was super friendly and accommodating to special diet needs as well. I'm glad we tried this establishment. It was quite busy that day, but there was still plenty of parking, and they had booths to sit and enjoy the experience. Portions were large - we all had leftovers to take home. I would love to come back and try more of the menu!
