The line was long as always but it moved pretty fast. Customer service is great here. They have many ice cream flavors. It's rich and delicious. They also have banana splits, hot fudge, soft serve and more. So much to choose from. The ambiance is fun right near the beach. Outside tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream or take it to the beach. Chantilly Ice Cream: the shop itself was super hot inside which is kind of wild considering it's an ice cream place. The ice cream though was actually really good; we got matcha, rocky road, strawberry, and raspberry vanilla. The matcha tasted like real matcha which I loved. The strawberry had seeds in it so you could actually taste the texture which made it feel fresh. The raspberry vanilla had strands of raspberry running through it that were kinda like a firm jelly and it mixed well with the vanilla. We did 3 scoops for $16 since a single scoop was already $11; honestly just made more sense that way. The vibe from the staff wasn't it; they didn't seem in the mood, super abrupt, and didn't make me feel welcome. I could tell from their demeanor they didn't really wanna let me sample either. The ice cream was extremely good. The cone was gross. I don't recommend the dipped waffle cone. The chocolate didn't have any taste around the cone. I threw it away. BUT the ice cream was delicious. Wonderful ice cream shop literally a hundred feet from the beach with a massive selection of both seasonal and permanent flavors. The service is excellent and the samples they provide are significant enough to make an informed decision. The ambiance is also nice as it is nicely laid out and easily fits in to the beach vibe. There are many traditional flavors: Rocky Road, Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Pistachio, Chocolate & Peanut Butter, etc. The blonde haired, lady working could be a little nicer. I asked to sample two flavors. The first one she obliged and the second one she was rude. I had Reese's and cookie butter and my sister had Rocky Road with the Sour Cherry Gummy Bear. I enjoyed my ice cream it had a creamy, rich, and thick consistency. The two flavors together were complimentary. My sister enjoyed hers. However, the gummy bear got to be a bit much. Very delicious home made ice cream. They take pride in being home made with quality ingredients and i am all for it! I ended up grabbing the Matcha ice cream and wow, just exactly what i was craving for. The staff was very kind, and they let you sample flavors. The only downside of this business is that it is an CASH ONLY type of business, and we didn't notice or knew at all before getting to the cashier. So we had to pay an ATM fee of $3 (ATM located inside of creamery) which definitely threw us off. Not the atm fee but the fact that it was cash only and was not announced anywhere else but at the register. That is mainly why i would be disappointed with my visit here, but when i would take bites of my ice cream it would feel like it was worth the hassle ! Who doesn't want an ice cream in the summer at the beach? We came over here because the line at Gelato Paradiso was intimidating.. There were many interesting ice cream flavors but you can only sample 2 flavors per person. There was a bit of a line when we went but it was a Sunday evening and it was a hot summer day, so everyone had the same thought. The line moved pretty quickly though.
