    Bacon breakfast burrito
    Catrin W.

We skipped coffee this time and just ordered breakfast burritos. We were so bummed to see the chorizo burrito was discontinued! The bacon burrito and avocado burrito were still really good. If I had a complaint, it would be that you pay extra for adding either avocado or bacon, when the burrito needs them for flavor. They don't have their own salsa, but offer Tapatio if you want it. Overall, they were pretty good but I'm excited to try something else next time. Come here to support the nice staff members, listen to good music, and be walking distance to good stores. Lines are long but the wait is worth it. 3.9/5

What a cutie spot right across the beach! We came on a weekend and it got really busy right after we ordered - came at just the right time! What we ordered: banana bread latte, strawberry matcha, huckleberry donut, chicken pesto quesadilla, and the spanakopita. The drinks were decent! I do wish the matcha had a stronger matcha flavor as it was a bit sweet for my liking. The chicken pesto quesadilla was yummy + a generous portion! The spanakopita is a unique pastry I don't see often, and I was excited to give it a try! The donut was great, and even better warmed up.

An adorable cafe! I stopped by this cafe to grab a latte and a baked good. And, I received a delicious decaf oatmeal latte and a recommended lemon poppy seed muffin which I devoured! Service is kind. They have a small team of warriors who are ready and consistent in keeping the place clean. There's an accessible restroom that is also well kept. Outlets are hard to find so I wouldn't recommend this as a study spot. WiFi is available. The plating captures any tea-party lovers. However, it's a great place to check out before visiting the Newport Beach public library. God bless you all!

Unfortunately didn't have a good experience. What costs $30 worth of food, I wasn't able to enjoy and wasn't really a meal. I didn't take a picture of the quiche but it was super undercooked. The crust was soggy. Egg was runny liquidy slop and honestly I tried to eat it despite that and was just unpleasant. I ended up just not eating it. The poptart and fruit was the only redeeming quality. Pop tart was truly the best pastry I've had in a hot second. I wanted to like this place so bad but unfortunately the quiche left a bad taste in my mouth as well as the super inflated prices. Place feels like a overhyped spot, would recommend trying places a few miles away without the long lines and pricey food.

The cafe is really cute and the silverware and porcelain are very aesthetic. The service was pretty decent, we came for a walk and took about 5 minutes to order in line, then 15 for drinks and food. We got the banana bread latte and banana matcha. Both were really good. The latte was better, i enjoyed the drinks here. Also got a Mediterranean crepe, it was a bit bland and enough to feed two. Vibes were nice, it's not the biggest place but it's cute.

The waits are a little longer as this delightful place is very popular but well worth it and fun to meet people in line too.

The matcha at Wild Strawberry Cafe immersed my senses into the perfect blend of sweet yet bold. The service was fantastic followed by scenic seating areas and a beach view a little walk across the street that could define one's weekend. Highly recommend checking out some time!

there was a line out the door but it moved pretty quickly! what we got: strawberry matcha chicken pesto quesadilla spanakopita coffee spiced donut? i forget the name exactly the food was sooo yummy!!! i loved the quesadilla and the spanakopita which i haven't heard of before but its spinach feta cheese cottage cheese and eggs wrapped in filo dough it was yummyyy! the strawberry puree in the matcha was yummy and the drink was very pretty, the matcha itself wasn't one of my favorites, but the drink generally was good. the donut was great! not too sweet and had great flavor. they have lots of to go wraps and sandwiches too along with a variety of bakery items which is nice! cute interior and vibe, some limited seating inside and outside

Such a cute cafe, very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and kind. Food was very tasty

Wild strawberry Cafe, just the name alone sounds like my kind of place. The decor here is really pretty, light and airy and simple. There are inside as well as outside seating, we sat inside. There's coffee, tea and other drink choices. They have some pastries and food items too. We had egg sandwiches which were good but a little expensive for what you get...they could add a little more, maybe a few potatoes or avocado or lettuce...ideas from a place I usually frequent that makes killer egg sandwiches. I'd come back and provide updates then. Mostly, it's a nice place to come with a coffee date and relax a bit.

Ordered to go and paid extra for avocado Unfortunately there was none when we opened it despite it being not busy when we went so not sure how it was missed Cute Ambiance but nothing special edit: owner reached out and made things right. Appreciate the customer service, 5 stars for that

Matcha raspberry scone is so good and moist, sweet but not too sweet.

This is one of the sweetest looking breakfast spots I've ever seen, and fits quite nicely in Laguna Beach on the quieter side of PCH. I love the sunny space, and the blue and white china they serve the food in. They have lemon sugar crepes, which I rarely see, and I love its simplicity and subtle flavors. The fresh whipped cream they serve it with makes it perfect. The pastry case is the gem of this restaurant because everything looks mouthwateringly tempting, and the girls who work there are so nice and friendly. This is such a great neighborhood place to take your girlfriends or your moms or yourself for a nice time out.

If you love a cute cafe, this place is for you!! If the line is long you know it's worth the wait! My daughter ordered the Açaí bowl and she loved it. I ordered the turkey wrap and that was also delicious. The iced lattes were delicious and perfectly strong. The almond croissant was absolutely amazing as well... And to mentions the meals are served on the cutest dishes. Perfect touch!

You order at the counter and there's self seating inside and out on the patio. You can partially see the ocean from some of the patio spots which is nice. There's lots of breakfast options and I like that you can order one or more of the breakfast sides. So you can get a little bit of everything. I had the almond French toast and my husband had the breakfast sandwich. We both shared some bacon, eggs, and breakfast potatoes. Their lattes are pretty tasty, and I would say I'm picky when it comes to iced lattes. They offer a few different special flavors. I tried a few of the chips that came with it and unfortunately they tasted stale, which was definitely disappointing. For my meal, I ordered the Eggs Benedict (the poached eggs with hollandaise sauce). It was okay overall, but I found it pretty flavorless. The hollandaise sauce didn't add much flavor, and the dish wasn't very memorable. I had to add a lot of ketchup and hot sauce to add flavor... One thing I did appreciate was that the restaurant appears to be family-owned, and I believe it's been in business for over 16 years. It's always nice to support a local business, and the prices were fair for the Laguna Beach area. The location is also a plus. It's within walking distance of the beach, and they offer validated parking with a parking structure located behind the restaurant, which makes visiting much more convenient. Overall, the food was not anything that would make us want to return. Between the stale chips and the lack of flavor in my meal, it felt more like a one-time visit rather than a place we'd seek out again.
