We met Ahmed who usually doesn't work at this location who was an absolute gem. Ahmed is so knowledgeable about coffee sourcing and the information he shared was in such a delightful way. He welcomed us and let us know all about the coffee and showed us the most beautiful hospitality, we went with his recommendations and he did not steer us wrong. They are getting in an Ethiopian variety in a few days which sounds like it's going to be really good. I love the minimalist sharp clean Vibe and the coffee and service was fantastic. We tried a cortado and a cold brew their cold brew is a true 24-hour slow drip. I wish I had taken a picture of the unique looking contraption they use to make their cold Brew. We will be back and we are excited to visit their new Costa Mesa, CA location. They also have a location in Marin County, N California.

Flavorful, but not too sugary which I liked. A great pick me up for the day. I also tried my friend's Guava Basil Matcha Latte and it was solid as well. Not the best matcha I've had, but the guava and basil flavors were unique. These drinks were around $6 with regular whole milk which was a good price! The interior is clean and nice. I saw one outlet, but I'm unsure if they have wifi. For parking, there's spots in the nearby Pavilions parking lot or around it. Overall, a solid spot for coffee drinks in the area.

I think it was $18 or $19 for 2 drinks, that's just crazy to me and it's my own fault, that should have been a warning, but they had a Ube cruffin (and my husband loves ube) and I ordered one without asking the price and imagine my surprise when it was $7! A little more than that I think actually. I get it - it's a pricey area, they're a block from oven views, it's Laguna, I'm too broke to live and exist there but good Lord. We also ordered the cinnamon roll, which was served warm and was the perfect pairing with our coffee. One of the best parts is the location. Coffee really is better by the beach, and this shop is just across the street from the beach, making it the perfect stop before or after a walk along the coast. Second, whatever they do to grind and brew them makes them even better. Third, the food is local and homemade and fresh. Avocado toast, protein breakfast, any of the baked goods and even the vegan options in the case are all delicious. Finally and most importantly the staff make you feel like you belong. Truly a one-a-kind place.

Just watery flavorless "coffee" water. Coffee cups for stay are really dumb. No handle. So you have to grab them around the cup which was way to hot to handle. Not the best decision for cups. Don't try to be different, just get good italian made cappuccino cups. Not sure how this place has the reviews it has but my wife agreed that it was awful. Not a fan and likely would not come back. It just solidifies my theory that most coffee places have no idea how to roast and pull coffee. This is why I stay home and use my Illy classico coffee and gaggia machine instead when home but I was not home this time. Snotty? Yes but why go through life drinking crap coffee and paying for it.

The employees were patient with us as first timers and were happy to answer our questions about the menu. I ended up ordering the Iced Lavender Caramel Latte, and it was delicious. It reminded me of one of my favorite local coffee shops back home, which is high praise. I expected it to be on the sweeter side, but it was perfectly balanced. It also wasn't overloaded with ice, so it never reached that watered down stage halfway through the drink. If I'm ever back in Dana Point, I'll gladly stop in for another one.
