One of my favorite parks in Arizona. Boasts giant lakes, a large new playground, and endless greenery. Not to mention, the constant supply of many kinds of geese and ducks. Apparently some people don't like geese but I love feeding them (I don't feed them much, I know that's controversial). Our family spent half of our quarantine days here because it was deserted and everything else was closed. We still stop by sometimes.

Chaparral Dog Park is one of the most enjoyable off-leash spots in the area. The park is well maintained, with spacious grassy zones that let dogs sprint, play, and socialize. The division into active and passive areas is smart, it helps ensure your pup can enjoy appropriate play without stress. Amenities like water fountains, benches, and shade make it comfortable for both dogs and pet parents. I particularly like that maintenance keeps the turf in good shape, and that evening hours (until 10 PM) make it possible to visit after work. A reliable, friendly spot for dog outings.

My absolute favorite park! I go for yoga and walking, in which, I love this location due to the opened field, plenty of free parking and the location is perfect coming from any direction!!! There is an ice cream truck roaming the lots for kids/parents treats for after all the softball games going on. There's football games going on in the open field, in which, I won't tell which teams I've seen play there but they are there! (Celebrities) The park is huge!!! In fact, it took me quit sometime to locate my pal who was meeting me there because I didn't realize how big it was until one weekend when this happened. It's peaceful walks, and not too crowded with bike riders and pets but they do have a dog park on one end which is awesome! The park is perfect for photos, picnics and BBQs going on! I've been to so many parks in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe and Gilbert but none compare to this location. It's clean and the vibes are good vibes all around. Definitely pack the kids, dogs, hubby/wife up and go have a picnic and walk here. As mentioned, plenty of free parking

Beautiful and good for the kids It have a great playground we're they can have a lot of fun

CP is a large and long park in NE Scottsdale. I liked that is wasn't crowded at all. The lake with the geese is very nice. It looked clean and well kept up. Nothing really stood out for me but it's an above average park with a baseball field, fenced dog park and jogging path. Recommended.

Chaparral Park is one of several dozen in Scottsdale and probably the nicest. We had a chance to walk the mile and a half paved path today around the lake. And we meet lots of friendly pups and folks enjoying a mild sunny AZ day. The geese and duck population is pretty large, but they tend to leave the joggers and walkers alone. But the special treat of the day was seeing a rare Black Flamingo (see photos). If you want to enjoy a nice day in the park, with lots of places to stop and relax or workout, you need to make this part of your regular routine. Enjoy!

Well honestly I was feeling kinda well you know anxious and depressed from all the horrific news of the year and needed cheering up. So off to the park we went. Drove in the Chaparral Road entrance and parked by the fishing pier. This place is huge, includes a dog park and Xeriscape demonstration garden among many other things. https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/parks/chaparral-park The geese must have known I needed them. A whole gaggle showed up and surrounded me. Their leader approached me first and was not shy. After a few seconds of apprehension I realized they were very sweet and only interested in the food, not my fingers or toes. Their warmth and simple curiosity filled me with necessary sunshine in this dark year. Thank you my lovely geese for being so sweet. And as for the pair of ducks that showed up, my finger is sore but okay. Your enthusiasm made me laugh as you jumped up to grab food from my hand until I had no more. Second visit their leader remembered me, ran right up and stood on my feet while politely waiting for food! I'm sure if I visited each day this particular goose would accept petting. So cool.

Sitting by the lake in great fall weather.

Wonderful park in central Scottsdale! Bike and running trail, lots of green surfaces, playgrounds and lots of water! Pretty safe area as well, and fabulous place to relax de stress and get some outdoor activity and exercise!

I have been coming to Chaparral Park since 1989. This Park can be considered the Central Park for Scottsdale. It has a large lake you can kayak in as well as a pool and restrooms. They have a parking lot if you are coming by car. I usually just bike ride around when I am riding the Maricopa Trail from Shea down to ASU. The bike trail runs right though this park. You are very close to Downtown Scottsdale when you are here and can get some dinner or shopping after.

Very nice and quiet. Didn't have a lot of people out there. The water is very calming and I like the bridge so you can walk over the water.

The park was more fun when you could feed the ducks and birds. Now it's a fishing hole. I hate fishing- so they kinda messed it up for me.

I will premise with: I have no clue about baseball, I played rugby and a bit of cricket, so made a total fool of myself but walked away laughing at my ineptitude ;). The event was well worth the prices, there were some vintners I 'knew' from the different events I've been attending the last couple months. The ambiance and vibe was chill, everyone was chatting and milling around, checking out vendors and tasting wines, and there were food trucks serving pizza and gyros. I would have liked some offerings of food inside the venue, but I did get some delicious plant based cupcakes with really good frosting. The whole evening was chill, we sat at a table then went to sit out on the bleachers for a bit more breeze. Very enjoyable event, we'll definitely come back for the next one.

If your thinking its going to be hot, just plan ahead with the weather and also book evening games. Scottsdale Stadium feels historic and just feels right! It felt like a true mini Giants stadium with merch stands, Giants decor, this is due to this being one of the very few stadiums that's not shared. Plenty of concessions with a variety of types of food too. The slope of grass in the back has a bunch of families set up with blankets to enjoy the game too. Overall easy to navigate!! Food was not too bad here too! They have some long hot dogs that a lot of people were getting. We got some island noodles that was okay, it was supposed to be soba noodles but it was basically just chicken chow mein. A tip for the stadium is that they have free refill stations so you can bring an empty water bottle to fill up!

My husband and I enjoyed Hamburgers, Fries and the drink selection. There was a lot of covered seating with umbrellas but the sun does sneak through making some spots hot to sit at. We had a pretty good view of the outfield and enjoyed watching the game. Everyone seemed really excited to be there and enjoyed mingling. Thank you, it was a great afternoon.

"Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd!"…read more Chase Field (since 2005), formerly Bank One Ballpark (Bob), is a retractable roof stadium in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It is the ballpark of Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks. It opened in 1998, the year the Diamondbacks debuted as an expansion team. Chase Field was the first stadium built in the United States with a retractable roof over a natural grass playing surface, although it has used artificial turf since 2019. This stadium and comfortably seat 43,300 fans. That's a lot of beer, peanuts, and hot dogs! Did you know Chase Field has a swimming pool located in right-center field, which is rented to patrons as a suite holding 35 guests for $3,500 per game during the 2011 season? Mark Grace was the first player to hit a home run into the pool. Most recently came to Chase Field's official and did the all-you-can-eat tickets located in the Bar-S All-You-Can-Eat Seats (Sections 221-223) on the Diamond Level in the left-field corner. What is included: Unlimited hot dogs, chips, popcorn, peanuts, Pepsi products, and Aquafina. Service begins when the stadium gates open and runs through the end of the 7th inning. Alcoholic beverages and additional premium food items are available for purchase at the concourse All in all, I like Chase Field. The bathrooms are clean, the venue is gorgeous, and the staff is always friendly. You'll enjoy yourself at the ball game!

To make the experience perfect required a visit to the bratwurst grill the "Hungry Hill sandwich" which is located in "section 112" (Also at 134 & 315) and desert at Coldstone Ice cream! Bratwurst, a German sausage delightfully seasoned meat in a proper casing. Hungry Hill grills theirs perfectly making the casings well browned providing a nice crisp bite. The sausage used is fantastic and the topping options allow you to make it yours. I choose their "spicy" peppers and white sauerkraut, nothing else. They make them like I do on the grill, Perfekt gemacht! Coldstone Creamery, what's not to like about ice cream in the summer at the ballpark. I ordered the cup; Chocolate with chocolate chips and chocolate cookie dough and chocolate syrup. Chocolate anyone? I had fun being in the opposing team's territory and enjoyed the game banter with the Brewers fans. Game three of the Diamondbacks vs Brewers. It was a great game until it wasn't. Diamondbacks 2 Brewers 3 closes the series with Dbacks 1 Brewers 2. Diamondbacks take to the road to face the San Diego Padres and much cooler weather.
