From the first BITE I was floored. A hidden gem for sure. You can taste the time and effort put into Bert's food and you can tell he loves what he does by his amazing attitude in the store. We talked for a good 10 minutes and he was so kind! The egg salad is better than my moms (shh don't tell her I said that). The bread is soft and SUPER tasty too! I'm not sure of the flavor of the side of chips (pita I believe) but WOW. literally unlike any chip flavor I've ever had. The dark pistachio chocolate made my entire day.. I ate it a little too fast! If you're a fan of chicken/tuna salad, this is a great place to check out. It's off Roswell Road and Cliftwood Drive on the corner of shopping plaza. Very small inside, but still charming and quaint. Menu is straightforward, (salads/sandwiches/wraps), and is reasonably priced ($12 for a chicken salad salad- it also comes with a side of veggie chips). Their salads are fresh, and everything comes with a piece of chocolate (with pistachios in them I believe) which was such a nice little treat. I believe this cute spot does mostly catering, but I think if I'm ever back in the area, I'll have to stop by to get some lunch. read more

I have just recently starting going to Champmans but always enjoy an excellent lunch and even had great luck with their casseroles. They make fresh casseroles daily (I think) and then freeze them so you can enjoy at your leisure - some are even healthy). read more

I used Chapman's Cafe for a catering order serving 21 business professionals. Bert the owner really made this process easy for. I was able to send him a menu of what this team had using another vendor and he duplicated the menu with no issues.. the food looked and tasted amazing. When the cafe changed ownership, I thought it may change, so I didn't go for a bit. Then I needed to take a meal to a friend and looked Chapman's up online. They seemed to have some of the same casseroles as before, so I went in to pick up a meal for a friend and then two casseroles to take home. The new owner couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Tonight we had the chicken enchilada casserole and it was absolutely delicious!! The recipe seemed a bit tweaked? More chicken and less cream is how we would describe it. Usually my husband and sons eat it and I have a couple bites, but tonight I had a ton. It felt a little more guilt-free. Can't wait to try the other one I bought and stock up on the chicken enchilada. read more

Above my expectations! Looks from the outside like a little hole in the wall but you go inside and the customer service is amazing and the food is beyond amazing. I'm only in town for a few days but would eat here every day for lunch if I could. Strawberry spinach salad is the bomb with the chicken Apple walnut salad. Burt is the best!! This is my "go to" for the best chicken salad (love them both), soups, and prepared meals. Everything is super fresh, and their prepared dinners are great for families who don't feel like cooking. Burt has also catered an event for me, and it was fantastic. Still as good as it ever was. I had the curry chicken salad salad with the home made crackers and the chocolate treat. It was delicious. Came with balsamic dressing. Daughter had the chicken rice soup and tuna wrap. We were both happy to see all was right with the place. New décor is more open and welcoming. Tasted some new soups and they were great as well....artichoke and creamy non creamy vegetable. Great lunch place. Our business was appreciated. I like that. Just stopped in on Wed. for a sandwich - Chicken Salad wrap. It was delicious... sampled the soups (chicken w/ wild rice and tomato). They were very good too. Everything is made fresh. Chef was there, you can see them preparing food through the doors leading into the kitchen. Staff that waited on me was very pleasant. I'll be back! They also have an extensive selection of prepared meals - looked good and seemed to be reasonably priced. We plan to try tomorrow. Will report back. Glad to have something like this in Sandy Springs, esp. since options for well prepared meals are limited (and w/ the Brickery reportedly closing soon, they will be even more limited). Cafe is tucked away in the back corner of the shopping center. Not open on Sat. or Sun. One suggestion to Chef Chapman - offer addit'l types of bread for sandwiches. Wrap was good, but Ciabatta is even better! read more

I scheduled a late staff meeting at my dental office in Sandy Springs and ordered dinner for all of us from Chapmans Cafe. From the salads to the salmon to the wraps we all raved about Burts food. All fresh, delicious and well presented. Two guests asked for a menu so they can have Burt cater their next event. Burt even surprised us with delicious chips and a chocolate dessert. Well done Burt!
