What an exceptional experience! I had the pleasure of having lunch today at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina with a business associate, and it exceeded every expectation. A special thank you to Chef Jeff, who not only prepared an incredible meal but clearly takes tremendous pride in his craft. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and packed with flavor. It's rare to find someone who combines culinary talent with genuine hospitality the way Chef Jeff does. The entire staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional, creating an atmosphere that made it easy to relax, enjoy great conversation, and conduct business. The outdoor patio overlooking the beautifully landscaped grounds is peaceful and absolutely gorgeous an ideal setting for a business lunch or a leisurely meal. If you're staying at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina, I highly recommend making time to dine at the restaurant. Welcome to my review. I do not know much about parking situation since I have not drove here. There is Hyatt regency (hotel) connected to it. The food is good here. They have a buffet which I recommend it's about $18 I believe which is a better deal then then menu. It offers more of a variety to try. The desserts are really good and highly recommend that. The buffet it had steak, fish, chicken, salad, chickpeas, red potatoes, veggies, few other items also, And couple of dessert choices. Prices are high though for menu priced items. They have a full bar also. Service is okay but they can try better. Especially when getting plates from the table. I wish there was pics of the dishes. There is a Togo part of the restaurant for people trying to get food and get out since there is office buildings around this place. This place is an embarrassment to what it once was. Staff is rude and awful now. Horrid management change but that's what you get. You can find food better in an airport then the restraunt which once was great. I asked if I could get utensils for a Uber eats order. They respond with we don't deliver to rooms but you can come down and get from the restaurant. I am greeted with plastic fork and knife at the bar they have in plastic cups. The restaurant is closed for renovations. I ate bar food at their bar last night and breakfast buffet this morning... Last night their staff agreed their shrimp soft tacos were the best item on the menu. I ordered that and added fresh home made pork rinds. I may not order the pork rinds again, it was fresh fried pork rinds then sprinkled with some sort of powdered spice. I did not (do not) drink enough to make those taste good, maybe if I did drink beer. /shrug The shrimp soft tacos were the bomb though... I had to order extra shrimp sauce... They LOADED the taco up with cabbage and veggies then topped it with quality shrimp. Next time I might order shrimp soft tacos and NO veggies to see how that goes. The bar area has high quality furnishings, the staff very professional. Breakfast buffet for $20, the bargain was unlimited drinks... The scrambled egg bin had browned eggs in it, I would have sent them back. I prefer my sausage well done on all sides, yet my bacon soft... bacon was ok, but the sausage has never been done except on one side. They also had oatmeal, an interesting array of fruits for same... they had lox and cheese (lox was a bit slimy needs to be kept chilled) the lox was thick sliced though so that would have been nice (if it were not slimy)... I am from Florida and I loved the OJ, nice quality light pulp. Water provided tasted great, though not bottled. I am here for a week, will give the breakfast buffet a second chance. hoping for melon on the buffet as well as bananas, they were not available this morning. THis hotel is up on the Perimeter Summit in eastern Atlanta proper. Parking could be a challenge, I am guessing, although I parked in what seemed to be a questionable spot right outside the door. It was Sunday evening, so nobody seemed to care. There is a bar in the lobby and seating for folks waiting on dinner. Our setting for a business meeting was a separate room. The service was prompt and knowledgeable. There is a pretty comprehensive wine list, and you can also order beer or hard drinks. I ordered cabernet sauvignon and let the waiter select, which he did well. The appetizers are typical of an Italian restaurant. I selected crab cakes and also sampled the calamari. The table bread comes with a tasty tomato sauce with a piquant flavor. Main course offerings were focused on steaks or common salad choices. I ordered salmon, which was really excellent. For dessert, I ordered the lava chocolate cake, which was average. Coffee topped out the meal. My experience overall was positive. However, the venue was selected by someone in a client company and we had a set aside room and waiter, so I can't really offer an opinion for normal diners. I would come again. read more

I've had a few business lunches here and this place has a nice feel. Perfect for a semi formal, not too casual date or business affair. The food is good in the Villa, nothing to write home about though. Pricey, but with my company picking up the tab, I didn't care too much. The real jewel lies in the Caffe side!!! The Goat & the Garden pizza is absolutely divine. I've had it many more times than I'll openly admit. I've tried some of the other pizzas once when they were brought to the office and they were good but if I'm paying, I can never stay away from The G&G. Sometimes the service is a little MIA in the caffe but they are nice none the least. Just may have to wait a few minutes if there's no one inside. read more

I'm shocked by the harsh reviews for Villa Christina. I just got back from a tasting of many dishes there, and I was very impressed by the vast majority of the food and the gorgeous patio. The garden is beautiful, perfect for an outdoor wedding. It also has, by far, the largest ducks I have ever seen walking around. We tasted several appetizers, and my four favorites, ranked in order of preference, are the coconut shrimp, artichoke cheese ball, beef Wellington, and the crab cake. The salads we tasted were both arugula-based and very fresh. The available salad dressings were definitely above average and made in house. I was delighted with 4 out of the 5 entrees we tasted. I highly recommend the salmon, filet mignon, stuffed chicken, and the stuffed eggplant (each being worthy of 5 stars). These were all well-seasoned and flavorful without being too salty. The marsala sauce and the ginger soy butter sauce are really tasty too. Villa Christina's main weakness seems to be the chicken - it tends to be on the dryer, tougher, blander side. I tried a chicken hors d'oeuvre, chicken breast entree, and a stuffed chicken entree. Out of these three chicken dishes, the only one that I even liked was the stuffed chicken, which was amazing - tender, juicier, boldly flavored, and exquisitely presented. Overall, Villa Christina provides an impressive selection of wedding food - definitely the most flavorful Western food I've ever eaten at a wedding. Overall, 4.5 stars for wedding venue/food. There are also free hors d'oeuvre at the bar during happy hour, which I think is from 5 pm to 7 pm. read more

Lovely place for corporate entertaining on a big scale. My favorite holiday party during my insurance years was the one BB&T Insurance always held here, taking over the whole place. Excellent food for parties like these - your typical expansive spread as a buffett, and they always did an open bar (wee! Happy Holidays to all!). Nice staff. When my office was in one of the Summit buildings directly across the courtyard from Villa Christina, I also went over often for a casual lunch in the bar area or to pick something up from the little lunch store, Cafe Christina, adjacent to the restaurant. Great simple mixed green salad with deliciously marinated grilled chicken was my dining-in staple, and one of their tasty pizzas if getting to-go. On my way to work, after staying in the hotel I needed to grab a quick breakfast. I didn't have time for the sit down buffet. I went into the cafe. I was there f r nearly five minutes saying "hello" to no response when a young lady comes in the front door and walks behind the counter without any apology or acknowledgement. When I ask about breakfast options she informs me she has to make it fresh and it's "gonna take a long time" as though my order is inconveniencing her. The Cafe is great for a lunch or dinner on the go! I love the burgers here as they are very big and come with a great side of fries! Call ahead to order so you do not have to wait. They have pick up parking along the outside of the building if you are on the go. Most of the business comes from the office buildings on the same street. The staff here is fast and friendly. DO NOT ASK FOR WATER ON TAP! They do not give out any water but only have it for sell in a bottle for a few dollars. The place is walk up only and the only seating is outside so this is meant to be take out. Just expect it to be take out and nothing more but fast service if you order ahead of time. I entered a empty restaurant at 10:30 am thinking breakfast buffet was still being served? Only to be informed that the buffet ends at 10. Completely prepared to be disappointed, I was wrong. With only one other customer in the entire restaurant I completely misjudged the staff. Even ordering off the menu, the food and service was a delight. French pressed coffee, an english muffin dark toasted (as ordered) with generous portions of everything I ordered. Of course, the price was a little more than I would pay at a diner but I would go back for the beautiful garden and quality food. This is for villa christina to go. I work in the office building across the street and occasionally eat lunch there. Today I got Chili and a side salad. $11 is a little expensive but I tipped them even though it was to go. Chili was not hot, not even warm but rather cool. When I called over to tell manager she was argumentative and rude. She basically said something about the hot box not being at temperature and how she had no control over the temperature once it was put in the hot box. Huh? You are going to get somebody sick! Went to restaurant for my Birthday. Staff made me feel very welcome. Started with Meatball appetizer. Had Swordfish wrap and my wife had Gnocchi. Everything was great and served with a smile. This was a last minute choice to take my cousin and his girlfriend who were visiting the A. Last minute meant, no sitter for me. I called and made rservations and advised them that I'd have a toddler. No problems said the host, as a matter of fact no reservations were necessary on this weeknight. The point is... the food was tasty, portion sizes were large (too much), the atmosphere was great. They catered to my two year old child preparing her a dish of fresh fruit (berries, melons, and grapes) and gave her a hungry man's portion of chicken fingers and fries. I loved every minute of it because I often get glares from diners when I take my daughter to restaurants until they realize that we both mean business, the business of eating. Treat us nicely, feed us and we are no problem. The only concern that I had was that my menu choice was not available. Excellent food. I ate dinner here with a large group and the service and food were impecable. The downside is it is very expensive. If you are staying i nthe hotel and order your food up to the room it's insanely expensive. I've had breakfast here a lot as I am a frequent guest at the hotel that is attached ot Villa Christina. I come here maybe every 4 to 6 months for business lunches I love the the view and the arrangements here. It's so stunning. I've heard weddings/parties come here to use as a venue. I definitely wouldn't mind if mine were here one day haha. Parking - I usually just park at Autotrader and walk on over. I think I stay for an hour and half? I just pay 3 dollars at the machine. There is valet parking! I just personally like to park my own car. Not sure where else you can park besides in Autotrader's lot and valet. People - my water is always full. No complaints at all. Super nice folks here. Each time my server is on time and very helpful with everything. Props to them! Especially during crazy lunch times. Food - during lunches, it gets kind of busy, so we get the buffet. The buffet is fairly good! Salad. Sushi. Random things and someone to cut the meat. Nom. I get a plate or 2. :) Dessert - omg. It's heaven. They have tons. I swear I eat like 3 or 4. Ha. Not ashamed. Just love dessert! I am never disappointed. I always come here for lunches if I have to choose. This is a review for CAFFÈ CHRISTINA TO-GO. I have no idea how the main restaurant compares to this. Phone ordering was pretty simple, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the pocket burger for a friend. I was told the wait was 25 minutes. I came in a few minutes early and the food was ready. The staff was nice enough, they were kinda busy, but fulfilled their basic function of processing my payment and giving me what I ordered. The process of ordering and receiving food was fine. Food: Chicken Sandwich: 1. Ordered white bread, got wheat. 2. Not seasoned very well. 3. Chicken was very thick and would have been much better had it been butterflied. 4. Bun was soggy after a few bites. Fries: Seasoned alright, average. Best part of the meal though. Pocket Burger: Just a bunch of beef stuffed in pizza dough (think calzone with nothing but beef). No seasoning. I'd probably go back and try their Pizzas, those looked pretty good. I don't recommend the items described above. read more

A great place for a lunch. Everything is made right there, before they lay it out, and they don't repeat themselves. When I last went, they had jumbalaya, salad, and a roast. A second trip would have meant something else. A great place to meet a client, if you're in the Perimeter area. Also went for an evening event awhile back -- strictly cocktails. I heard so much about this venue and my expectations were very high. The services was very good and the food was delicious. We only had small finger foods since it was a after work dinner gathering, but we had a great selection of dishes. I would have gave them a rating of five stars, but the size of the restaurant was smaller than I expected and it was very crowded. Having a "full house" is great for the restaurant, but it was a little uncomfortable at times. Overall, I would definitely return. read more

There were three of us staying for 3 nights in July 2018. We have stayed there at least 3 or 4 other times in the past. The shuttle service is 4 stars, the room was 4 stars, the reservation service was 4 stars but the checkout was no stars. We are three people each wanting to put one room charge on each person's credit card. How hard is that? After months of fighting incorrect charges on our statements, we finally got it figured out. My statement made no sense. With the help of my credit card company, I saw what the Hyatt did to correct the initial mistake. I host a breakfast group through the Dunwoody newcommers club to Villa Christina last Wed. Feb. 21st. There were 17 of us and I have to say we were treated royally by the staff especially the Restaurant Manager Mr. Bill Wynn, Everyone had a great experience, it is not always easy to please a bunch of women. The only thing was that they ran out of lox but then we found out that there was a big group of army service personnel upstairs and that made it acceptable! Got the Gnocci and I honestly have not had a meal as good as this in 10 years. The exact amount of capers and artichokes. The gnocci to chicken ratio was amazing as well. It seemed like a real science. I will not forget this meal. Muhbab was incredibly attentive and so was Sous Chef Gus. I had the Pino Noir with it and the peach dessert. Please do not skip dessert. My family and I came here for en Easter brunch , and simply put... this place is GREAT. The food was excellent. There were so many great options to choose from. All of the staff was nice and friendly. Because it was Easter there was an Easter bunny, face painting, egg hunt, and bounce houses to keep the children happy during our visit, and that made the experience even that much better. WTF? How come I've never been here before? I am in love and no one can stop me! As my birthday week continued I jumped in my car from my office at Northridge & 400 with a friend and headed south on 400 not knowing where to go. I knew I was in for a fancy work dinner so I wanted something non meat focused and thought about where I can go that's different and I've never been to. BOOM! My friend had never been either so after missing the turn we found paradise lost. Valet on this cold January day was helpful. We walked in and were seated very quickly. It was a suit and tie vibe lunch place. I saw a buffet at the far end, lots of windows with a pretty woodsy view. When we told our server Donald that it was our first time he seated himself and explained that there are lots of companies nearby so the buffet is very popular. $17 for unlimted items, freshly made, different daily. This day's offerings were: mixed green with a spicy dressing with cucumbers, olives & shredded cheese. Caprese salad with house made mozzarella cheese. Succulent melt in your mouth turkey breast with rice, craberry sauce and grave. Al Dente butternut raviolis in a light vodka sauce, swordfish in a crawfish sauce and tenerloins of beef in a lovely vegetable beef reduction. After we grazed a bit of everything I opened my birthday gift. Without either of us saying a word Donald took it upon himself to bring me dessert with a candle!! WTF? A server that cares about his craft so much that a present cued him to bring me a birthday dessert? I will fight my girfriend to the death to take him home with me! The buffet offers dessert but I never got to see what they were this day. I had my wedding here, and I have to say that it was the best experience, from the help and guidance I have received during the wedding planning process as well as the day of the wedding. One of the most exciting things to do during the planning stages was the food tasting ( I felt like I was in Iron Chef!! ) It was just awesome Lauren Mielcarz, our Villa Christina planner was absolutely wonderful and such a joy to work with! I couldn't have asked for a better venue! Our guests raved about all of the food, the grounds, the service.... you name it! My husband and I loved all the special touches... from the food in our bridal suites, the personal service we got during our wedding from Ashley (our personal server during the reception), to just the willingness to go our of your way to make our day even more special, by willing to work with other vendors to make the process even smoother.We were even given tons of to-go left overs to enjoy during our honeymoon!! We have numerous friends and family tell us that our wedding was the best one they have been to, and I couldn't be prouder. Def a great place to throw down a real party!! Nestled behind a condo community on a hill overlooking the Perimeter is this hidden hem. This place is packed and bustling for the weekday business crowd, but kind of quiet and empty at dinner time. I wouldn't say that this is an intimate place - To reach my boyfriend's hand, and had to reach alllllll the way across the table. This place is better for more formal, impersonal business lunches. The grounds and ambiance are lovely and pleasant. Executive chef is excellent as well. I would come back, but for a work lunch, not for dinner with friends. read more
