The food was amazing! I had the gorgonzola salad with grilled chicken and my friend had the chicken bacon wrap. Everything was fresh and fast. The dressings were made in house and flavorful. The portion size was also large. We went around 11:30 and were the only ones there but it got busier as we ate. The man who took my order was very friendly and able to answer questions about the menu. He brought us extra napkins and cups with ice for our drinks. The restaurant is counter service and has adequate seating. Everything was clean, including the restroom and I also enjoyed the music that was playing. The only "issue" is that the ac was broken, but they had multiple fans circulating air and we were comfortable. I will definitely go back and am looking forward to trying additional items from their extensive menu. This restaurant has a massive variety of food and it's all good. When deciding what to eat in a group, everyone can find something they want from burgers to salads to pastas to arepas. I've tried just about everything on the menu and never been disappointed by my selection. Their quesadillas are loaded with meat and cheese, their burgers are large and full of toppings, their salads are delicious and hearty...I can go on all day! The best part about this place is the price of everything. You get so much food for such a fair price which is rare to find nowadays. I had one of the workers by the name Karen come all the way to my job to find me because my card declined ( which she didn't address when i payed). Breaks my heart to write this but I have to. I used to eat here all the time. Cheap good food. But lately their food has been giving me food poisoning where I wake up to throw up. At first I thought it was something else so I kept ordering. The first time I ordered Chicken Pinchos. I woke up in the middle of the night to vomit multiple times. I had to take time off work. I don't see the point in having a cafe you can't even make a order at. I love the pan con bistec been going here for 3 years now. They have horrible service in store for people who don't speak fluent Spanish so I always order online or through the phone. I have been put on hold 3 times and the final time they answered and I told them I've already been waiting 20 minutes to just place a pickup order. They proceeded to say nothing on the phone for 2 minutes just silence but I could hear both workers speaking from a distance. Horrible customer service. I have been a faithful customer for 10 years but tonight was my last time ordering from Blue Grill. They have zero business etiquette and are master manipulators. I received my food and realized there was a meal missing and there were zero sauces. I immediately called them and they stated that it was someone new who took my order and she made a mistake. I place a new order and verbalize that I expect not to get charged the $4.00 delivery fee this second time as the mistake was theirs. The lady proceeds to tell me the manager is not there and she is not able to make any adjustments. Although they should be in full service recovery mode trying to make up for the inconvenience they are causing they continue to make it worse. I remind her I didn't get any sauce for my 3 meals. She asked me how many I wanted and I tell her 8. She tells me I have to at least order a coke because I do not teach the minimum amount for delivery. I should have hung up at this point but I ordered the drink. When the food arrived I was in the shower. I told my son to pay for it and to not leave another tip because I had already tipped an 18% the first time. Which I was not being table served so shouldn't have even left that much. When my son chose no tip the delivery person has the audacity to tell my son that he has to pay gas and only gets paid off of tips. So now this older gentlemen is trying to hustle a kid which is disturbing. When I review the receipt they charged me for all the sauces, really you are nickel and diming a customer that you just messed up their order. This is the worse customer service experience I've ever had. When I called back I asked the lady to please give my contact information to the owners so I could express my disappointment and make them aware that their poor customer service will continue to lose them customers. Now the lady wants to give me a credit for the next time I order. I declined as I will not be ordering from there ever again. So please do yourself the favor and do not ever order from there and avoid the headache and disappointment. read more

However , today we ordered take out and ordered the usual : red steak bowl , cheese arepas and maicitos and found a piece of plastic from one of the containers mixed in the rice and beans! Went here last week, it's a nice restaurant. The service was accommodating, they even brought me multiple types of hot sauce. Very cozy and dark feel, nice ambiance. Food is better than average, but it isn't costly at all. I had the burger, with bacon and fries coming free with it, great bargain. There are some aspects of the dish that I didn't like, such as frozen fries and low quality hamburger buns, but again, it is priced right. Couldn't find the updated restaurant name on Yelp so I'm writing on behalf of the old or the original"Red" Restaurant prior to it becoming "Blue". What an amazing renovation it underwent. New flooring, new tables, new lighting. Very modern feel on the inside. The food, however, is the same. The menu hasn't changed from the last time I visited this place, long ago. For three meals - two wraps and a churrasco entree with two sides + and a passionfruit juice, I spent $30. Kind of overpriced if you ask me. The food is OK. Nothing out of this world. They did take a bit to prepare the food. When we walked in there were two groups sitting down at the tables that were close to being finished and us. I guess people mostly do take out here because they were backed up with their orders. There was one guy handling the register/preparing food and two others preparing food. The guy from the register was super nice though. Great customer service. Super sweet and helpful. read more

Fast Food prices, with a ton of more food. Starving, I headed up to Bird Road to grab some quick lunch. I used my trusty Yelp app to see what was around and after considering sushi, I ended up with Red - in the mood for a burger. I looked over the menu. They have a bunch of different burgers and also have an $8 churrasco meal? The two ladies behind me ended up getting it and it was huge. I decided on the Mex burger. A slice of pepperjack cheese, jalapenos, pico de gallo, lettuce, topped with cilantro sauce. The burger was huge and came with a mountain of fries. The burger patty was charred on the outside but so juicy on the inside. It wasn't so tasty but the char reminded me of burgers I make on the grill...love that taste. All of the toppings were super fresh. I mean SUPER fresh, because they were making it while I was waiting which is probably why they took over 15 minutes for the burger. They were chopping up ingredients for the pico and filling up the container of shredded lettuce. For the price, you can't complain for about $6 it was a huge meal - I didn't even finish all the fries. Will be back again to try another burger or possibly the churrasco. read more

But if you want beans, you can get them instead of the salad that comes with the meal. Really. It's $7.99 for the steak, fries, white rice and a salad (or beans)... plus a fountain drink if you eat in. My husband had the Super Crazy burger and I really do not know how he managed to eat that! He said that it was good, not outstanding, but really tasty. But then again, the burger with fries is under $6. For sure it was better than Mickey D's. The place was clean and the staff is nice. It does take a bit to receive your order. At least you know that it's prepared when ordered and not sitting under a heat lamp. If you want it fast, call your order in 20 mins before you want to pick it up to go. Or there's always Mickey D's. Prices are all very reasonable. Red Restaurant does not meet or practice sanitary guidelines. On July 2nd, I ordered a pan con bistec. Upon taking a bite, I noticed maggots crawling out of the sandwich and all over the fries. This is unacceptable standards for any restaurant. I am extremely appalled at how this particular restaurant has managed to pass health inspections, despite the many customer complaints of their food being riddled with not only maggots, but roaches as well. There has been multiple reviews on Yelp from other consumers reporting maggot findings in their food.
