I would give 6 stars if I could. This is casual fine dining. We were greeted by the owner, Steven…read moreas we entered. Area is clean, well maintained, and the staff is excellent. As you enter there is a small dining area with a grand piano. Piano player on Fridays and Saturdays. Down a short hall is the bar area with 5 high top tables. Then there is the patio, which I have to say, looks very inviting for when it is not 100 degrees with high humidity. Oh yes, the food . . . outstanding ~ southern Italian with very generous portions. The meatball appetizer and a salad would have made a meal, but that's not why you are here. We went with the chicken parm and chicken Limone. Delicious and plenty to take home for at least one additional meal. Can't forget dessert. Make sure to save room ~ gelato and vanilla cheesecake (flavor changes) were probably some of the best I've ever had. If you cannot tell, I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning. It has earned every award that it has received.

Returned to Dolce last night bringing a friend for the first time. Not an empty seat in the house,…read morewhich is a good sign. We sat at a table upfront in a little nook, quite cozy. Saw my favorite waiter Rich and said hello. Angie took care of us last night, she was friendly and engaging. They were short-staffed unexpectedly so we were patient during our dining experience. We started with cocktails and I was happy to revisit the leatherneck, which I had on my previous visit. I added a sugared rim and it was perfection. The highlights of our dining experience were the brie with caramelized walnuts & honey, my husband's pappardelle dinner, and the tiramisu. The owner Steve came by the table a few times to talk to us. We met him the first time we dined at Dolce. It's evident that he cares about his customers and his business, and who doesn't love a little attention from the owner? If you dine at Dolce, save room for the tiramisu. It's so light and creamy.

I've ordered from Meal Village a couple times and had great experiences including ordering online…read morewhich was very easy. Both times the food arrived EXACTLY at 4pm and was top quality with good portions for most. My dad recently needs to be on a lower sodium diet so it's nice to provide 1-2 meals per week for him with no commitment- he usually eats only half of the portion per meal and can easily know the sodium content. My wife and I have tried a few of the meals and been happy with everything - sometimes calories and fat/sodium can be a bit higher than my wife prefers for a single meal but you have all the info before ordering. There's always a salmon option, and a recent "Retro Fried Chicken Bowl" was great if slightly unhealthier than ideal but had a nice portion of well cooked chicken and included a fantastic smothered sauce plus the side of applesauce was chunky, flavorful, and just as good as we would make at home. If you don't make your own applesauce this will show you why you should do it. Nothing but positive so far, and prices generally seem consistent with the "ready to cook" options in the market but you have much less packaging waste and don't need to spend a bunch of time cooking and cleaning up which can be nice during the week. Most dishes are 2-3 minutes heating up in the microwave and end up great. Don't get me wrong, we love to cook but I prefer to use my own recipes and for my dad with limited mobility a quick, healthier microwave meal or a "soft food" option is important. And for my wife and me, this is a nice supplement to our weeknight meals. Bravo to a great local business worth supporting!
