We tried this place when looking for a quick, casual local burger and chicken option that could also accommodate special dietary needs, including a dairy allergy. The staff were all very nice and the owner, Asad, went above and beyond to notice and alert us of an allergen we missed and then, unprompted, to cook my daughter a steak that wasn't even on the menu so that we could all enjoy a meal there together. It is nice to be able to frequent a place with good food AND good character. We will be back. I encourage others to taste the charga chicken, too, it was amazing. read more

This place is amazing! Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is really nice, and the food is phenomenal. In terms of parking, while there might be some trouble to park in the front during the day when it's busy, they opened up lots in the back too so that people had space. I didn't know what to expect walking in here, but the people who work here really try their best to recommend what they think you would like the most. Any problem I had, they were always eager to help out and do whatever they could to address my needs or concerns. In my opinion, I would definitely recommend the Charga chicken and spicy fries. The chicken was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning and spices. Given that I really like spicy food, they even gave me a really spicy sauce (which was really good but don't recommend if you can't handle spicy food). Will most certainly come back again. read more

Found this place on Uber Eats and having never tried Peruvian style chicken before I was seriously impressed with the high quality taste of their Peruvian chicken and fries. I've also tried the Sajji and it too was excellent. Decided to order in person the next time and found the place very clean and parking is reserved right in front of their store for convenience. I have been looking a good local Kabab place and I have found it. It has a wider menu then you would think for Kabab joint. Chicken Sliders, Whole Fried Fish, Rotisserie Chickens and Chicken Quesadillas. Great little spot, limited parking and limited seating. Hopefully they will expand. read more

I was never told about the food scene around DC, but if you are in the area this place is an absolute MUST! The crispy chicken sandwich with whatever sauce it comes with was smacking (that's a good thing)! The cheese steak samosas with that cheese sauce was worth trying, the sajji chicken and the Peruvian rotisserie chicken were great (and I'm not a fan of rotisserie chicken), and birria chicken tacos were out of this world. Came here based on Yelp reviews and so glad we did because it did not disappoint! We got the chicken platter to try all the different styles and everything was amazing, especially the charga and jerk chicken. The sides were also massive and delicious: we ordered okra, chickpeas, grilled veggies and plantains. The icing on the cake is how hospitable the staff were! Made my husband get me Charga and the regular Peruvian, TOO MUCH SALT. It felt like biting into a chunk of salt, I could feel my body loading up on the sodium so had to stop eating. The sauces, I'm gonna repeat how I started this review...nope nope nope. The green sauce and the white sauces were awful. I order sampler with 3 different chickens, All taste same, nothing is like charga or the so called names there food is oily, sandwich was dipping oil, I use napkins to dry it. My brother had to make a stop in Virginia and we wanted to try something new. He suggested this place and I agreed so off we went. This place is located in a little strip mall with a bunch of other halal joints. We walked in and the place was spotless - literally shining. We ordered a quesadilla, taco trio and the three chicken platter with the three different chickens (sajji, charga and peruvian) they have. My favorite chicken was the sajji - omg it was cooked perfectly. Crispy on outside juicy on the inside. Probably best rotisserie chicken I have ever had. Charga was okay - kind of tasted like shake & bake and the peruvian was average to me but I am not a big fan of peruvian anyway. My brother ordered white rice with his meal and usually places like this don't do rice right but the rice was DELICIOUS. The type of rice you can eat by itself. If you order chicken definitely go for sajji for the win. The quesadilla and tacos were also not bad. I would be interested to try the rest of their menu. I also absolutely LOVED that they had a stand alone sink outside to wash your hands. Such a nice touch. They seem like a very health conscious place as well which I also love. Kudos! I stumbled upon this place by accident. Ended up getting take out food for the entire family! Everyone at home (about 30 miles away) is now asking me when would I go back again! The Charga is amazing, the sauce they make are brilliant and I was especially impressed with the combination of options... I mean, who does Afghan pullaw as a side with the charga - it tasted awesome! Certainly going back to try other items on the menu - as some other reviewers have said. I got the charga chicken, my brother got the sajji & my dad got the jerk. We each think we got the best one haha. We tried Charga based on a recommendation on Nextdoor and WOW! So good! Love that you can get different kinds of food there with lots of sauces. In addition to a whole chicken 1/2 Charga style, 1/2 Sajii, cilantro lime rice, and grilled veggies, we got a yummy falafel sandwich. I was skeptical when the okra appeared "naked," but it was well-seasoned and spicy. The only weak item was the naan but everything else was delicious.
