As we should. In this case the two fine fellows at Charlie's Barber shop - I've never had a better, more skilled haircut. I've rarely met friendlier, more genuine fellows. While we waited, my son enjoyed playing the basketball game in the back -- a huge bonus that really helped pass the time. I noticed right away how meticulous the barbers were with each haircut. Although the wait ended up being over 30 minutes, it was clear the extra time was due to their attention to detail, and I knew it would be worth it. As the waiting room filled up and it was finally my son's turn, I asked for some advice on his haircut. The response was knowledgeable and reassuring -- I knew we were in good hands. The haircut turned out perfect, and the barber was incredibly gentle with my son. Best of all, my son said, "This is the best haircut ever." We're very happy with the experience and highly recommend Boulevard Barbershop! The whole time, she was chewing gum loudly with her mouth open right next to my ear, which was very uncomfortable. She handled my hair quite roughly, and in every movement it felt like she didn't care about what she was doing at all. There was no attention to detail or effort. At times, it even seemed like she was just pretending to work -- picking up tools and bringing them close to my head without actually doing anything meaningful.
