Ok so everyone knows I love my nails. DIP has been important to me because I can have BOSS nails and never really have to go back until almost 2 months. I will say this. I have been to many many salons over different states and countries. I wear my NATURAL nails very long. I have NEVER been somewhere, where they take that into account and treat my long nails fragile. All in all the application was great. I asked a few questions and they answered and my nails look great. TIP: CLOSED MOUTHS DONT GET FED. Midway (I know it's UGLY and the acetone eating me up but I'm cutting my natural nails and starting fresh. There isn't anything wrong but...I've had DIP for like 2 years skrait and my nails needed a break. So these my nails..I cut them..and put on press ons. I've gone to Kevin on and off for years and took a chance on a good pedicure. Worse experience of my life! Owner Kevin insulted my young daughter and bullied her !!!! He charged me for my daughter's pedicure even though she walked out after insulted and never had it done! He does not know how to run a business. He pushed the girl out of the way to put design on my toe and it was so ugly and fell off when I got home!!!! My first time here because I was at a birthday party at launch and then had lunch next door to The habachi restrarunt. Happened to see the nail salon here and was in desperate need for a mani pedi. They took in my very quickly and I had two women work on me at once which was perfect because I had three kids with me! They were quick but also took their time on me, I left feeling pampered and back to myself. I did got a little cut but it was just from her doing an extra clean job. People there are very nice . Kevin & his wife work hand in hand making sure their customers are happy and satisfied . Their prices are very reasonable in comparison to the other nail salons around. They give a great massage while you're having your nails done or toes or both. They have been there for quite a few years , which says something based on surviving Covid and all of the nail salons around. I don't even live in Norwood , but choose to use them because of their personalities and their prices. There is a new salon in the town I live in very upscale with all the bells & whistles as far as the decor goes, are always busy, but extremely expensive and very in personable. Nails, Spa and Tanning is old school in its decor but outdoes the other place by far with their concern for their clients, prices, massages, and hospitality offering you water, making sure your comfortable while waiting . Should have read the other reviews before I came in! My pedicure with callus removal became a big todo and 3 people had to make a scene and investigate my feet before anyone could decide whether or not I was a good candidate for this type of pedicure which was extremely embarrassing! Also theWorld Cup soccer game was on and the owner was being loud and cheering which took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing experience! I can't say I'll be back anytime soon but on the bright side there were tons of colors to choose from and the manicurists do a really great job!! read more

The service at this salon can't be beat. They greet you with a bottle of water, and the owner is incredibly friendly. The staff is meticulous and careful; I never feel like they are rushing. They are open Sundays, which is not true of all salons in the area. When I came here last Sunday, even though they close at 5pm, they stayed until 5:30pm to finish my pedicure. I have been going to another Salon for over 5 years, but decided to try this place out on my lunch break from work one day, as it is nearby. All I can say is, the quality of the service is horrible! There was no attention to detail by the person doing my nails and what's worse is the manager of the shop, Kevin, is beyond unprofessional. He was making small talk with me because I was new to the shop and asked where I go regularly. I told him Fancy Salon in Dorchester to which he made a face and told me they were dirty. Here's the kicker...He then says, "Plus, all the black people go there". Nice right? Little did he know, I am white, but married to a black man. Avoid this shop at all costs! read more

7 days a week you can find Kevin and the ladies taking care of you as if you were coming to their home. Always jovial and cheerful you can tell the staff loves to work here and it helps to encourage you to keep coming back for all your mani and pedi needs. If I'm in a rush they will take care of the manicure at the pedicure station at the same time. Always with a bottle of water and extra massages while you are drying. Ample parking and can always get in as a walk in which helps with my crazy schedule. read more

They are rushing to get to the next client without taking proper care of the current client in the massage chair. You can not use the massage chair very long because they have more than one person working on you when you request a manicure and pedicure. The vibrations of the massaging chair is shut off so polish can be applied to the hands while a second person works on your feet. Even if you request for the two services be performed seperately they act like they do not understand English and perform both services at once anyway. My nails were filed so short they are now very sensitive. The cuticle push back drew blood. Never again! read more

I waited 3 weeks since my pedicure to write this review to see how the polish would last, and it has seriously held up. First let me say, this is not the most up to date, cooly-decked out nail salon, but it is clean, which is the most important thing. They give you a bottle of water when you come in, and use a plastic liner in the pedi tub to help keep things clean. And the pedicure was very relaxing. The massage was extensive and they use hot stones even during the basic pedicure. The price is right on point for the service, in the $20-30 range. I have since gone on a 5-day hiking trip and worn both sandals and closed-toe shoes and this polish looks as good as new. I will definitely be going back. read more

When I refused and offered to pay a lesser amount, he became belligerent and started yelling and threatening to call 911. He followed me to the parking lot and spit in my direction. This is by far the best nail salon in norwood. They greet you at the door with a cold bottle of water and a friendly greeting. Of course you pick your color from a whole wall of colors. Then go back to pedi chairs. Every thing is impecibly clean. They use gloves and they use freshly sterilized instruments. They are very nice and friendly. They give a hot stone massage to die for! They take their time and actually guarantee it will be a minimum 25 minutes for a basic pedi. I love that! And the best part of it all is the price. Its the best prices around and the best pedi in town. One more thing. I have never had to wait. read more
