Cup says wings but didn't see on their menu

Decent fast food cheesesteak place located in the Citadel Mall food court. Obviously not the greatest cheesesteak you're ever going to have, but it's serviceable. Their daily special small chicken Philly and fries is $7.49. Adding a drink brings the meal to $10. My food was ready within 3-5 minutes. The Philly had pretty good flavor and fillings. The fries were larger cut and just your average fries. Plenty of seating in the food court area. Charley's is one of five food options in the court.

Visited the food court at the Citadel Mall in West Ashley. Had lunch at Charley's Philly Cheesestakes. Got the everyday special, chicken cheesestake with fries. Great value for the money. Only $7.49 for the sandwhich and fries! The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. The food was tasty. The cheesestakes are so good it makes you want the other half! I would recommend Charly's.

The sauce was added by us.

We placed an Uber Eats order with one item being a small veggie sub. We requested no cheese, peppers or mayo and requested extra mushrooms. All we got were a few mushrooms and grilled onions that barely covered half of a small roll. The sub cost $8.49 plus fees.

It's mall food at the food court so my expectations were not too high. My nephew ordered the chicken and ranch Philly. He made it his own way. The loaded fries were pretty good. They definitely get alot of cheese and bacon but to dip it into ranch dressing was even better.

I wanted to try this place because of the positive reviews and because I love mediterranean food…read more I thought maybe it would be one of those hole in the wall surprises... but, it was disappointing. I got the Chicken Shawarma Platter since that's what I saw mentioned the most in reviews. The chicken with dry, the "garlic sauce" was basically mayo, the rice was also dry and wasn't necessarily a flavor I would pick. There was one dolmas (even though the menu says 2), and it was good (to be fair, I didn't say anything about it). I imagine their greek salad would be good because the small side salad on the plate was good. For $16 though, it was pretty disappointing. When I think platter, I think more like sharing size, but this was pretty comparable to most places one person meal. I didn't finish it, but mostly because it was really dry and didn't taste great. We also got fried pickles (okay, but pretty greasy and they could really use some kind of dipping sauce), the hubs got the Ribeye Philly, he said it needed some kind of sauce and that he didn't feel the need to come back, so... nothing noteworthy. The kids got chicken fingers and fries. They polished off the fries (they were good!) but left most of the chicken fingers, I didn't try them, so... and lastly, the ambiance... if I had to pick between here and somewhere like Kairos, I'd pick Kairos... it's cleaner, they have music going, and my kids like to watch the videos of people making the kairos food. Med Diner has no music, the vibe is a bit weird (like someone cut out the middle back of all the chairs with like a saw or something), it feels a little thrown together and sad. I saw a handful of people go through the drive through while we were there, so maybe there's just something else they are better known for and we hit an off day. Just not my vibe.

This was a great first experience here. The hummus and pita are the best I've ever had. Granted,…read moreI'm no pro in Israeli street food, but I couldn't stop talking about the hummus and I wanted to out it on everything. The pitas were packed full of whatever was ordered. I got the sabich. It was pretty good. I had no comparison, so maybe just my taste. I tried my friend's shawarma pita, which had a seasoning I'm not accustomed to. I think maybe zaa'tar? Very rich flavors for sure. The pickled veggies were a smooth delight. They have sodas and also Israel brand juices to choose from. Its an order at the counter place, but still managed to have a cozy family diner seating area. I'll be back for that hummus and pita again! I'm dreaming about it already.

I visited Israel for the first time last year, and the atmosphere here was dead on, from the small child sweeping up out front, to the rather chatty sales pitch I got when I walked in, to the cuisine itself. I will say that I was a bit miffed that I thought from that conversation that I would be getting a hummus with falafel but I ended up with some pickled vegetables that I didn't really want. Nonetheless, the creaminess of the hummus, the parsley flavor that came out of my very green falafel, and the strong tahini note at the end were all winners. Having paid for an extra pita I was glad as it was just enough to get it all without a spoon. I also got a cake which was a thin wafer with a coffee-flavored icing and again a very nutty tahini flavor. I'd come back just for that. I was sad when the previous hummus place in downtown Charleston closed; the region could use something of this nature. And they appear to have a successful restaurant.
