Bland and overpriced. Not a very good representation of a cheesesteak. Almost $4 for a (very) small order of cheese fries. The counter staff were somewhat friendly but barely spoke English. There are way better options at the Stonebriar food court. read more

The workers were so incredibly rude to me and my girlfriend. We ordered on the kiosk and then came back for our food and that was that. When we saw they didn't give us the ranch WE PAID FOR I went over there and asked and she gave me a whole speech about how I need to pay. Yelp 100 Challenge 2023 #47 This location is located in the Stonebriar Mall Food Court across from H&M. They now offer a self order kiosks when you can customize your order. Staff is always friendly and the food is made to order within minutes. My favorite is their small cheesesteak with mushrooms, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, a small french fries, and a medium strawberry lemonade. Their strawberry lemonade has a strawberry puree added to it and it is delicious. If you're in the mall, and looking for a yummy quick meal. Try Charley's Cheesesteaks. read more

This is a door dash order - I've not visited the restaurant nor experienced their staff. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak and removed the lettuce, tomato, and pickle that it comes with. I'm not familiar with what a traditional Philly cheesesteak has on it but, for me, those items don't belong. The Philly flavor was just ok and the fries needed salt. Underwhelmed. read more

It's always disappointing when you get the wrong order and don't feel like it's worth the hassle to go back. imagine how annoying it must be, especially when it's a pricey sandwich. It is clear in reviews this store has issues with giving the wrong order to customers. The chicken cheese sandwich is ok but the Philly cheese steak is not. So when you order a chicken and get a beef it's disappointing. The manager offered no solution. read more

The restaurant is located in a visible part of the food court inside Stonebriar Mall. There was not a wait in line and the drinks and food were quickly prepared. We ordered the chicken Philly cheesesteak, Philly Cheese steak, fries, and and real fruit lemonades- Strawberry. The cheese steaks were so good...my daughter loved the string pull on her cheesesteak. The small cheesesteak was very filling. We added Charley's french fry seasoning on our fries for added flavor and they were tasty. I loved the real fruit lemonades-Strawberry. It was just the right amount of sweet. A friend of mine had told me about them prior to me going and I wasn't disappointed. Next time I plan on getting the blueberry or peach fruit lemonades. read more

The sub was not bad but I've tasted better in Philadelphia, the land of philly cheese steak subs. I like the fact that it wasn't just meat and cheese it actually had lettuce, tomatoes and pickles which enhanced the sandwich. The ingredients were fresh and the steak meat wasn't dry, but tender. If you like cheesy cheesy I would add more cheese for $2. I could actually see the cook cooking the meat and preparing my food, which was good to notice. They have wings too, which I ordered the 8 piece lemon lime pepper wings which were tasty and zesty. The dining area was clean, and the workers practiced safety measures with mask and glove. Caveat: I didn't order anything to eat here, and only ordered a few root beers. Fact: They charge $1.79 for a medium root beer. Theory: They must be instructed to fill the cup with ice because the girl at the counter scooped the ice into the cup all the way up to the lid. I was excited when I saw that there was a Charley's in the mall. First off, the prices there have always been high. I got the regular sized Chicken California, with regular fries, and a peach lemonade (something that the cashier recommended). That total was $12 and some change. Had I ordered the bigger sandwich and loaded fries, the price would've probably been over $15. The cashier was very friendly to all patrons. He looked like he was happy to be at work. He even got a smile out of me, who was hangry (hungry+angry). They cooked the order rather quickly and I sat down to eat. The sandwich WAS NOT good. Usually, I eat at the Charley's that is in Little Rock, Arkansas. That one is where I first ordered the chicken California. This sandwich was very bland and a little on the dry side (despite the fact that the woman behind the counter asked did I want any ranch). Of course, I ate everything because I was hungry. However, I would not eat there again. The food was hot- yet it definitely wasn't worth the money spent. The lemonade was good, like the cashier said. But it had bits of peaches in it. It kept getting stuck in my straw. I don't even like pulp in my orange juice. I won't go back. 3 stars is only given because of the excellent cashier !! read more

This is a surprisingly good place for a mall food court, and it's a standout in the otherwise questionable food court of Stonebriar Mall (they really need some upgrades). I was in full "who cares about the diet" mode (apparently) when I ordered here, because I ended up with the cheddar, bacon and ranch fries and a Philly steak deluxe sandwich. The fries were still a little soft but definitely cooked, and the toppings were pretty generous, so the presentation was a bit messy but the taste was quite good, again, in a "I need more Lipitor" kind of way. The sandwich had a good meat to bread ratio, and the onions and peppers were plentiful, although I've had veggies with more flavor. Still, envelope it all in that provalone, and it was a pretty good sandwich overall. Again, like most mall food, not destination dining, but still a passable lunch if you have about, oh, 100 Weight Watcher points to spare. read more

When I came here the cashier spoke no English and was unable and seemed quite unwilling/unwanting to help me or get anyone to help as I tried to find things on the menu (like something that WASN'T a "half" of a philly steak sandwich but a full one), then I asked at the end for a cup of water .... (after a $13 order I figured this would be happily given); the teenage assistant went to ask the proprietor what to do; came back and said their water wasn't working. Really? NO working running tap water anywhere in this restaurant? Probably not legal to operate for even a minute under this condition, but that's what they claimed. Poor customer service, foreign snubbery and cheap tricks to save the restaurant 10 cents on their plastics budget await you at this place! read more

I got the small philly cheese steak with small fries and a drink. Price came out to almost $10. This price is rediculous considering the amount of food that is givin. They should've called this the philly cheese vegetables with a smidgen of meat. There was hardly any "steak" in the sandwich. Their chicken Philly is my go-to. The cheese is all ooey-gooey, melty, delicious goodness. I typically get it with grilled onions & bell peppers, mayo, plus jalapeños...topped with tomato & lettuce. Great Philly cheese steaks! I've had the real thing in Philadelphia many times. Charley's delivers on the fast-food version. Soft but crusty bread served hot and fresh. Steak grilled right in front of you with peppers, onions, and mushrooms as you like. Provolone melted on top. I added jalapeños and Italian dressing to mine. Man, super tasty. Skip the cheese fries since it's merely the "cheese sauce" variety. But the regular fries are adequate. They have a few other items on the menu (my wife likes the turkey), but be sure to try the Philly cheese steak on your first visit. read more

I looked all over the Internet for a good Philly Cheese Steak place near Frisco and finally found Charlies, which I had not known of before. It was absolutely delicious. I only wish it wasn't in the Stonebriar Mall food court. I was expecting to find an outlet on the perimeter of the mall area. I hope they will expand into a real sandwich shop in this area someday, because the food is really good - but it's pretty inconvenient to walk miles from the parking lot into the mall and going up and down escalators and back out again for carryout. read more

Worse service ever. When placing order the lady wasn't polite. When I got my order and sat down seen the sub was ham and not chicken like I had ordered. When getting a replacement sub they acted like it was my fault. And on top of that the lettuce was stale. Will never go there again. read more

Logistically, it sits back a bit from Preston, behind Wendy's and in the shopping center with Car Toys. This is a significant "will return" experience.

The cook prepared everything as expected putting all ingredients into the warming skillet to give a good mix together over open heat. FYI- this is one of the main reasons that consumers love the pasta at Piada. This brings me to the main issue. My second time ordering (door dash delivery) I ordered the exact same thing, but what I received was very different than my first order. A bowl or dry spaghetti noodles with a scoop of sauce thrown on top, 5 spinach leaves thrown on top of the sauce, and hot chicken on top of that. You could tell that it was not put into the warming skillet and mixed together. The alfredo sauce was thick and barely enough to cover the top of the noodles. The remaining 3/4 of the noodles were completely dry. I was very disappointed with this $15 bowl of lazily prepared lackluster pasta. 2 days ago I gave them another chance assuming the previous order was a fluke and prepared lazily because they knew it was door dash and they wouldn't have to be accountable (no excuse). The tall young man at the counter was nice and quick to greet me when I walked up. As I order my food, I specifically asked him if they were going to put everything in the warming skillet to mix together over heat. He said yes. He put all ingredients into a bowl except the chicken. They were cooking the chicken so there was a wait. I paid for my food and took a seat while I waited. They brought my food to me when it was finished. I open the container and to my surprise, it looked the exact same as my previous door dash order (a bowl of dry noodles, a scoop of thick cold alfredo sauce slapped on top, etc.) I went to the counter to ask why they didn't put it in the warming skillet to mix together especially because I literally asked if they were going to do this and they said yes. The young lady tried to tell me that they mix in the warming skillet at other locations, but not this one. After I told her that I've had pasta prepared this way at this location as well, she then told me they in fact do prepare the pasta with the warming skillet at this location, but most of their skillets were dirty because they were about to change shifts. Huh??!! What kind of excuse is that for just being plain lazy. Especially after I literally asked if you would prepare the pasta as expected and was lied to. As much as I loved Piada the first time, I'm going to take a break from them. What good is it have a customer love your location the first time, if the food and service isn't going to be consistent. As I stated, I loved my first visit, but have been completely disappointed each time after that.
