Knowing that this Food Truck on Cooke Street (in front of Imperial Plaza) opens at 10am on Mondays through Fridays, I parked on the street before 10am to beat the crowd at Meatheads. As soon as they opened, I placed my order and waited a few minutes for the grill to heat up. The young man politely asked me what kind of dressing I wanted... Italian, please! Also, I chose "garlic" instead of "teriyaki" steak. I took a photo before taking my container to the car. I couldn't wait to get home. The fragrance was so delicious! I ate some tender pieces of steak while driving! Wow! That garlic seasoning is addicting! When I got home, I ate the smokey shrimps (about 7 pieces) and was glad that my sink was nearby to wash my hands! The shells are split, and the tails are intact. Haha! The two scoops of rice and tossed salad were okay! This was a quick, yummy lunch! I'll stop by again when I'm nearby!

Meatheads obviously serves up some proteins Steak, Chicken and Shrimp though I had my concerns of cross contamination but on a grill versus fryer isn't that concerning for me and thought this would be perfect for lunch. The menu board is understandable yet confusing with little description as I'm not a fan of asking a million questions for each item though with a bit of clarification decided to go with the "Mini Steak" plate at $12 was just the perfect size. Along with one scoop of rice, and iceberg salad mix (1000 island, ranch or Italian) the 3oz of sliced steak with either teriyaki or garlic sauce the steak is done medium rare I assume unless specified and with some seating area provided by Imperial Plaza a quick bite is easily done here, they seem very new as their Instagram @meatheadskakaako has only 9 posts...go guys! Today I ordered a Korean Kalbi plate with toss green only and no rice.... I still paid the price if I had ordered it with rice. The plates are huge! The Service is very quick and very fast they have one Cook in the kitchen who cooks very fast.I would have to say that when I finally had gotten my plate I carried it to my work cause I wasn't more than a 15min walk there... and my food was still hot. The thing that was perhaps a little bad was how tough it was to bite through the meat I then had to cut the rest of my Meal up first before consuming. It was still delicious. I'll go back o may not order the Kalbi cause it was tough to bite through.
