I was craving some pizzas and came across this spot near our hotel. Service was a bit awkward as I stepped into the establishment. The cashier didn't greet me making me feel uncomfortable. I was tempted to walk out, but decided to give it a chance. The pizzas looked good and I didn't want to go searching for another pizza joint. Not sure if the pizzas were made fresh, but they took a slice of the Hawaiian slice placing it into the oven. The portion wasn't worth $10, but I was hungry. When I took my first bite, it didn't hit the spot. It didn't taste anything like a Hawaiian pizza. So sad because my cravings weren't fully met. I just finished it to not waste food. read more

Bring your appetite, portions are huge. The staff was extra helpful and aware of what you would like even with special orders. It is in the international mall and if you blink you will miss it, seating is minimal, but the pizza was pretty dang good. read more

Seriously awful. Wtf just happened. Hadn't had a slice in a while because the last two times I came they served me frozen mozz stix. Decided to pop in today & it was definitely the last time I will ever go here. The lady at the counter had zero aloha & didn't even greet me. Just what do I want. Got visibly annoyed when I wanted to pick my own slices (bc they had more garlic) even though I asked very nicely AND tipped. Then, she didn't even heat up my slices???!! She pulled the room temperature slices out of the case & just wrapped them up?! I thought she was wrapping slices for the other guests until she placed the bag in front of me! Walking around Waikiki can build up an appetite. I was not really hungry but I had room for a little snack. I stopped by Slice of Waikiki. They had several slices of pizza to choose from. The staff was helpful in helping me make a selection. I went with the meet lovers. They heated in the oven. The crust was crisp and the cheese and meat toppings were glistening under the stores light. The slice was a very generous portion. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something quick and lite. read more

Open very late in an area where not much is open late but that was the only good thing about this place. Pizza is in my opinion pricey for a slice. And even though it was just before closing they still charged us full price and there is no discount for ordering a full pizza. Many of the slices weren't very sauced it just tasted like pizza and bread. We were buying for our whole family late but McDonald's probably would have been better as opposed to $130 for two pizzas. read more

This spot is a must try, the service was amazing. Andrew was the cashier and did a great job he made me feel like I was a longtime customer. The pizza is delicious the only regret I have is not buying a large. They have a spicey hot sauce I cant remember the name of the brand I wish I took a picture and the pepper flakes are also yummy if you can handle the heat they are worth trying. The pepper flakes are from flat iron pepper co. And it pared perfectly with the pizza. The inside was clean and there are a couple tables outside to sit at. I'll definitely visit again soon. read more

Came here after a disappointing dinner at Skybox, and it was delicious. It's a little hole in the wall place with pizza behind plexiglass to view your options before ordering. Ordering was quick and easy and got our slices within minutes after reheating in the oven. I got the combo slice and my boyfriend got the pepperoni and bacon slice and both were yummy. The crust was a little overcooked for my liking, but we devoured both quickly. The slices are pretty big so 1 is definitely enough. They also offer whole pies for $40 which is a great deal considering how large the slices are. If you're looking for a quick lunch, dinner or snack def check it out. read more

Husband and I were walking the area and weren't too hungry but also needed to eat so stopped by here to grab a slice each. I understand you have to up-charge because of the location but for pizza this bland, it's terrible that we have to pay close to $9/slice. The cheese slice was alright but the fours (only other vegetarian option) was barely anything. I wouldn't recommend even if you are just looking for a quick bite. Came to Hawaii thinking we had to try Hawaiian pizza only to find out at the counter that it's not actually Hawaiian. Still, Slice of Waikiki came through with a fresh, made-to-order "Hawaiian" that was delicious and finally satisfied the craving. The wannabe brandy melville lady at the counter was very rude and short with my family. We were asking simple questions about their menu, and she was very condescending with her responses...seemed like we were a nuisance to her. She treated other guests the same way. I highly recommend for the owner to find a nicer worker to represent the company. The vibe was very tense and unwelcoming with her. As for the food, it was alright. To the dark haired, green shirted lady working on 3/10/26 at 4:15pm...... I ordered a full pizza, and was told it be ready in 20 min. Sat down outside and waited 10-15 past and this lady came out and sharply stated "you can't sit here if you don't order food!" I told her I did, she came back with " oh yeah, I can call security" again I stated I have food ordered, and her response was " I can check" I insisted please do. "I will" rolling her eyes and getting more aggressive. That's the last I heard from her until the pizza came out, and she snidely, righteously thanked me......no apology from the smart mouth, aggressive, ignorant bitch!! So I've been coming here for years and I didn't come last year and now they're located here so I feel like I missed out, this pizza was just okay I would give it a 3.5 out of 10 the ones that used to be next to the Malia used to be crispy on the bottom, thin crust and the cheese used to be melting off now I got a not so cooked crust dried cheese and barely any sauce very disappointed probably won't go back again... Definitely give them a try for a quick snack. However, this is one of those reviews where I struggle with the stars. How do I compare this pizza with a sit-down option like Tony's in San Fran (5*)? Anyway, great pizza. It was fast and tasty. Lots of crunch in the crunch. The Pops is an all meat option: pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon. I added some red pepper for more spice. Very good. For a whole pie, you can get it half and half with different toppings. They are located outside to the left of the Waikiki Malia by Outrigger. Look for the pizza window. Legit NY style pizzas. Super friendly staff and pizzas are made fresh to order, taking about 20 minutes. Open daily from 11am to 10pm. read more

Another pizza parlor checked! Came here for a slice of pizza. There's a line that slowly building up and we just arrived in the nick of time. Woman who took the order was nice. Immediately put in my order. This is an order to go, a perfect definition for a "hole-in-the-wall" thing. Got a slice of Pop which come with pepperoni, sausage, ham & bacon. It was okay. Despite the constant flow of customers, the line moved fast with orders coming out pretty efficiently. We ordered the Threes, Pops and an order of the Jalapeno Poppers. It's NY style pizza, which is not my favorite, but my husband really liked it. The poppers were ok. The spicy aioli it came with was quite good. The slices are large, but the price point is still high. Overall, it's not a big deal given the convenience and location. read more

After getting settled into our hotel, we were starving, and everything on the menu looked incredible. We ended up ordering the Garlic Chili and the Honey Shoyu chicken. It was exactly what you want when you're craving KFC. The sauces were spot on, chicken had a perfect crunch in every bite and the meat was incredibly tender. To make our dinner feel like a complete, we also added a few other items to the table. We had the pork mandoo and loved that it was clearly homemade, you could really taste the difference. Those extra sides were the perfect finishing touch to the feast. To be honest, if it weren't for this staycation, we probably wouldn't have headed into this part of Waikiki, but I'm so glad we did. Next time we stay in the area, this will definitely be on our list of places to repeat. If you are in the Waikiki area and looking for delicious Korean Fried Chicken (and a Kama'aina discount!), look no further.

They actually cut in half 5 pieces of the Chicken Backs and each 1/2 counted as a piece of overcooked chicken jerky! I also got a 1/3 of a breast section with bones and not even a 1/2 of a thigh. That totals my 10 pieces. More bones and excess crispy flour then consumable meat. NOBODY gives a Chicken back (or 1/2 a back)! Not Popeyes, not KFC or Zippy's who will remain my Favorite because I will only get ripped off the 1st time, never again. Additionally, they make you buy the sauce, the reason is due to no seasoning on the over floured bread...but it IS Crispy! The Chicken tenders were overcooked and REALLY Chewy around the edges. Just a LOT of breaded Crispy with no flavor, what "Chef" doesn't even use salt? Really, if you're going to risk testing this food, PAY for some sauce! Well, the Monkeypod Kitchen Mai Tai is that "song" for me. No matter how many months pass between trips to Hawaii, it's the one thing I'm always craving. First stop after our five plus hour flight is to always sit at the bar and hum my way through a Mai Tai. We've tried competitors' Mai Tais, but Monkeypod has THE BEST Mai Tai on the island (possibly the country)! It contains a double shot of rum, so pace yourself if you're a lightweight. What makes this extraordinary is the lilikoi (passion fruit) foam on the top. It's the reason I am "passion"ately in love with this cocktail. We've eaten at a table in their main dining room, however, we really enjoy bar seating during Happy Hour, which is from 3:30pm-5:00pm, daily (except select holidays) and again from 9:00pm-11:00pm. It is first come first serve at the bar. If you prefer table seating, be sure to make a reservation. The wait can be long without one. Their Happy Hour items include all of their appetizers at half price, excluding any seafood. Cocktails are $4 off, beers $2 off, wine by the glass $3 off and the pizzas (excluding the Bourgeois) are $17. All of the items we've tried are super delicious and the bartenders are all very friendly and professional. They also provide live music daily, at 12:30pm, 3:30pm and 7:30pm.
