When you come into the food court, there's only a few options for food. Because of this, the lines get extremely long, especially here. The food tastes GREAT I'll start off by saying that. However, there's not enough staff to compensate for how much service they get. When I went there, there were 3 groups in front of me. I waited 30 minutes, literally, before I was up. The manager took my order and he was very kind but he was overworked, as were the other two employees (one on the grill, one putting the food together). They were dealing with the inspection that day, which was stupid that they had it done during lunchtime when the line was that long. The manager kept getting pulled away by the lady doing the inspection so I was waiting at the register for 10 minutes (again, literally) before he was able to come back to take my money. This is by far the best option in the mall food court. In general, I personally prefer a hot sub over a subway or Togos type sandwich. Service is usually great. If you have the pleasure of going when the owner is working, you can really see his passion for his business through his customer interactions. But if you're there when they are really busy, expect a little bit of a wait as everything is cooked to order. I love their gourmet fries! The Buffalo ranch are the best. I guess this place would be considered a little on the pricey side, but worth it in my opinion! read more

TRANSACTION CLOSED! I paid right under $18.00 for the largest cheesesteak with extra cheese, fries with bacon and cheese, and a delicious root beer drank. To be honest, I came here thinking I was going to spend under $10.00, but it was almost double my expected budget. Anyways, I believe what I received was just as good as it could get for a fast food restaurant in terms of the Philly cheesesteak lifestyle. Someone else mentioned on here that this location puts a lot of meat/steak on the sandwiches. This is a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because you can simply take a fork (or your fingers) and remove the extra meat and save it for later and/or eat it with fries. But it's a curse because you don't really taste much of the delicious bread when there's too much meat. The manager could not get the register to function correctly and instead of sending us away like most greedy devils would do, the manager told us to take the food "FOR FREE" and even gave us drinks. This place used to be our family's favorite take out food. But not anymore. Their sandwiches has no flavor whatsoever! My husband had to put ketchup in his sandwich to give it some flavor. And he doesn't like ketchup! He also requested extra mushrooms and they hardly put any. He advised the cook and she gave him an attitude and without an apology grabbed the sandwich and said will cook another one. The best sandwiches in Tracy when the mall is open...my only gripe is the manager or owner, (Filipino guy) as he is nice, he is cheap!! I have been here multiple times and if he sees a worker giving you too much fries and such he will have them take some off!! What happened to customer service?? The food is great here. Best you can get in the mall. Some complain about the wait but the food is made when you order it so it's always fresh. You expect to have to wait a few minutes. Fries are amazing, so tasty they should be illegal ;) Service is always friendly and if a mistake is made, they fix it with out giving a hassle unlike other places. This place used to be my family's favorite, every Sunday we eat in this place and this Thursday we went there for late lunch around 2 pm or 3 and we ordered sandwiches with fries it wasn't a long line and we were surprised because usually this place is always busy. My wife requested extra onion and they hardly put any, we also requested no tomatoes and pickles and they messed up her order. And what I was disappointed about is we were in line this girl who was doing the grill was yelling at someone she knew to go to the line to get a drink without paying for it and she was asking if they want everything on it. It's was really disappointed because we were waiting for our food but she had the time to do the sandwich to someone she knew before the people's order. She doesn't have a name tag on so I don't know her name but when we tried to tell them to fixed my wife order she was rolling her eyes when one of the employee is telling her what was wrong.
