Great food and service! I had a cheeseburger and it was delicious and i usually don't say that about most burgers.

The food's about on par with TGIFriday's, except maybe it has a bit more of a Southern flair.

We were hungry after 4 hours of hiking and they were very welcoming when we called to inquire about dine in services. We arrived at the restaurant and were immediately greeted and seated. We wanted a special drink to share so we asked for their bar drink menu. They certainly had lots of choices of mixed drinks... some I had not even heard of. We were chatting with our server and all of a sudden there were two more servers commenting on drinks as we asked what was in them, etc. I love restaurants where servers are this friendly. One recommended a couple of the drinks and having never tried one of them we chose the not so nicely named Leg Spreader. It was pretty good and probably sneaks up on you because we could not taste hardly any alcohol. It was pretty good... if you love honeydew melons you will love it; if not try something else. Overall, it was good but not sure if we would order it again. Sometimes you have to stick with the classics. Although they had some healthy choices on their menu (and that is my typical choice), I decided to indulge and ordered a philly cheesesteak which I have not had in many, many years with a side salad. My husband ordered one of their specialty burgers with some french fries. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and wow, did my cheesesteak look good... no photos because I was so hungry I just dove in and completely forgot. It was served open faced. I polished that baby off in no time. It was so good. Full of onions, peppers, even banana peppers and just the right amount of cheese so that it complimented the other items and didn't overbear them. If the roll had been grilled just a tad bit longer so that it stayed a bit more firmer, it would have been utter perfection. My husband enjoyed his burger and fixings... he ended up not eating his roll. He also was happy with his french fries. I did not hear any complaints from him and I was probably too involved in my cheesesteak experience anyways but I have to assume he liked his late lunch, also. Overall, the servers were great. The drink was so good after 4 hours of hiking and we were very happy they were open for dine in. I forgot to even mention that my side salad was pleasantly a decent size and I have to assume that if the side salad was that good that their full size ones are probably excellent. Thanks for the memories, Jeffersons. You were a pleasant surprise.

Waffle House is one of my favorite roadside stops for breakfast and lunch, open 24-7!! On my…read moretravels, I've stopped at many Waffle Houses located near highway exits including this Waffle House in Jasper, which is very popular with the truckers and travelers alike and offers good not fancy food at reasonable prices. The Texas Bacon Melts served with hash browns and the Buttermilk Waffles with butter & lots of syrup are pretty tasty! Currently in 2015, they offer Fifteen Meals For $5 Each (includes beverage), which is a pretty good deal on the wallet including 8 Breakfast and 7 Lunch/Dinner choices. While driving along I-24 heading from Chattanooga to Nashville, I stopped off at Exit 152 and pulled into Waffle House for lunch. I sat myself at the counter and the waitress with a charming Southern accent gave me a regular laminated menu and took my drink order. I asked for a Diet Coke and requested the Fifteen Meals For $5 Each Menu. For lunch, I decided on Grilled Cheese, Regular Bert's Chili and a Diet Coke for $5 plus tax. The food came out quickly served hot. The Grilled Cheese Sandwich was basic and good, the bread was buttered and grilled nicely on the outside with melted orange American cheese inside, cut into 2 triangles. The bowl of chili was hearty which had plenty of ground beef and beans, slightly on the salty side. Saltine crackers, dill pickle slices and mayo served on the side. The service here was very friendly and efficient. I was given refills on the ice cold Diet Coke and the waitress even offered me a to go cup filled with ice cold Diet Coke, which was a "nice gesture custom" (of Southern hospitality) unheard of back where I live in New England. I usually top off my own fountain soda cups at fast food restaurants. I definitely needed the ice cold Diet Coke for my drive to Nashville in the 88 degree summer heat.

Food is always great like home cooked. The service is always superb in the morning, and fun I might…read moresay. Ambiance is just super friendly.
