I checked this place out on a recommendation from the hotel reception as a "local favourite", and it was very reasonable. The seafood menu was a bit tiny, and mainly battered and deep fried. We tried clam chowder, very salty but good and the Cajun local fish on linguine, as suggested by the waiter as his favourite entree. This linguine came with two giant pieces of local fresh water fish, the fish literally covered the entered plate. It was enough dinner for the two of us. Beer is so much cheaper here than back home, only $2 a pint. I was satisfied with the meal and it seems like a great "go to" restaurant when you just need to eat without anything fancy. read more

great service we each had something different, my son who ordered the crab legs loved it. He said they were perfectly cook. This family of 6 was not disappointed and our bill was under a $100. always an accomplishment for my family of big eaters. I ate the fish sandwich and the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Yuengling beer and a plateful of Snow Crab legs! You can't get Yuengling in the West Coast so that's a plus right there. The snow crab was plentiful and full of tender meat. Michelle made an excellent recommendation to this Alaskan about the snow crab - start with the 1.5 pound and bump up from there. So looking forward to dinner after already excellent service. Okay sooooo. Interesting that one day you get one burger and on burger Day you get a sub par burger that you're used to. They should explain that on burger day it's cheaper because it's not the same size or quality burger as the other days. Shady!!! Other than that food is ok. read more

I'm torn between being a business owner and wanting to help a small business with a 5-star and being a consumer but I have to remember that this is about leaving honest and fair reviews. The crab was good but my first batch was cold as ice. The second batch was hot and a lot better but the mahi mahi scampi was dry and disgusting. The service was pretty bad. I heard from a local that the food here was great but it was mediocre at best. My boyfriend ordered the steak and it was just a step above a steak from Waffle House. Such a disappointment since we had to wait over 50 minutes just to get seated. I don't know if we'll go back anytime soon. read more

First, our server was very ho-hum, and not terribly attentive. Second, our food was not very good. My wife ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer, and they were too dark; obviously overcooked, but just this side of edible. We both ordered the Mahi, hers she ordered grilled, with the extra mango salsa topping; mine I ordered blackened. The blackening was decent, making the meal reasonably ok, but not great. Hers was not good at all; the mango salsa was disappointing, and the fish looked like it had been boiled. The texture and taste of the fish was unpleasant and bland. Our daughter had the kids meal cheeseburger, and it was one of the worst kids meals she's ever gotten. The burger was quite unappetizing and did not taste good. It seemed like it was freeze-dried prior to being cooked. I guess we just ordered the wrong things; either way, we won't be back. Also, the mens' bathroom was not well organized and cramped. The urinals were located right next to the sink, without even a divider; it would be very easy for "splash-back" to land on the sink where we wash our hands. They really need a divider there at the very least, since, given the size of the bathroom, I guess they can't do much else about the lack of space. read more

Really good for seafood, great portion for good price! On a Fri night around 6 in mid-summer, we didn't wait more than 20 mins to be seated (2 people), may not be typical but was great. We started the meal off with the loaded cheese fries and finished them all -- delicious! I got chicken tenders and fries, but the portions were so big I couldn't finish them. Generic bar food, cold beer, extremely slow service

The whole family went on a Wednesday evening in June. There was no wait whatsoever. Four of us ordered crab legs (the 1.5 lb version was PLENTY, but we had the option of upgrading to all you can eat if we wanted more). The crab legs were cooked perfectly- came out of the shell easily and not rubbery. YUM! My husband, who believes crab legs are too much work, got the shrimp scampi and said it was "very good".
