First of all the crab legs were good. The slaw was ok. Hush puppies were great. Fries mediocre. My problem though was the All u Can Eat option. It had been awhile since we came beachside to eat. Stopped here for lunch. My husband and I got the 1lb option that you could upgrade if you wanted. ( I swear it used to be 1 1/2 ). The price used to be in the 20's for the legs then high 30's for all u can eat. When they delivered the ticket I questioned the waitress because the ticket added up to 64.99 for one person!! I thought it was incorrect but it is not. It was supposedly on the menu at that price but we didn't even look at the menu. Outside the restaurant on the small chalk board it was written but I didn't see that either. I ate here with my wife and we started off with a tap yuengling ($3) and a delicious georgia peach($6). The appetizer special for the evening was fried calamari, and it was thick but not chewy so delicious. I ordered the mahi mahi Cajun style, and the portion was generous and the seasoning not too salty. I wanted the crab bisque as an upcharge to replace my side but they wouldn't let me, so I had to order it separately, and I chose red potatoes for the side, which came without butter or sour cream (I did ask for butter but shouldn't have to). The crab bisque was excellent, the potatoes were standard fare. My wife ordered shrimp scampi with rice and a side of garlic bread (for specializing in seafood I find it odd to not have hush puppies or Italian bread as a side) and she also received a generous portion. She couldn't eat all of her shrimp so I had some and as I am quite particular about my shrimp, I can say with confidence the shrimp was not very good. Overly chewy with an odd taste. Overall the experience was good with a home town restaurant environment, and I definitely would return again. read more

In a town where it seems like every restaurant is a seafood restaurant (and there is nothing wrong with that) it is nice to have a little variety. This is a very casual bar / restaurant with a laid back ambiance and a varied menu. The service was a tad slow for a mid afternoon lunch but the food more than made up for it. The flame broiled hamburgers were perfectly juicy and cooked to medium as we requested. The Mai Mai was moist and flavorful. We will return on any subsequent visit to Daytona. read more

Decided to try this place for dinner one night while in town for my churches district council. I was with my wife and two other couples. We all enjoyed the food very much!! The crab legs were outstanding and the shrimp was cooked very well! They even asked if we wanted old bay seasoning on the shrimp (some seafood places don't know what old bay is) but our shrimp was coated in old bay!! The atmosphere was fantastic and the server was very friendly and helpful, even willing to go back to the kitchen twice to answer some of our questions. Small dining room, long waits during busiest times (1 hour). Not amazed by the food, fried clams were soggy, not sweet.

My wife and I rode by on our bike, saw other bikes out front and decided to stop. We had the crab cake appetizers - they were delicious. For entrees my wife had the crab shrimp combo, very good. I had the Philly cheesesteak. I would recommend both. Service was attentive without being hovering. We will gladly stop there next time we are in town for Bike Week. read more

Unless you're going for all you can eat crab legs,in my opinion,it's a waste of time and money. Started out with the bite size Maryland STYLE crab balls. They must buy them frozen because when I tried to cut them in half with my fork they broke apart. The new England clam chowder was horrible. The waiter noticed we didn't eat much of it and asked if we liked it. I said since you're asking..no! He said he would take it off the bill. It was too thick like too much flour or something and just didn't have any flavor. I ordered fish and chips. The fish was very thin and dry. Didn't enjoy at all. Actually I didn't like ANY of my meal. Very disappointed since the hotel staff recommended it. I'll be having a talk with her. Another odd thing,they left the old plates on table from appetizer and soup so we were eating our meal with dirty dishes on table. So, we decided to check out this place. 10 minute wait on a Thursday night. Much better.This place already won me over when I saw the POW/MIA flag flying outside, along with bikes everywhere. The place had the awesome dive bar atmosphere. There were a lot of locals, and our waiter was really laid back. Food was out quick, and delicious. Me and my girlfriend were in a nothing fight, and this place helped us get out of it! The only thing that would make this place better is if they lowered their prices just a little bit. I've been to this restaurant twice now while on vacation in Florida. It's a sports bar/hick bar/family restaurant all in one. This last time they had snow crabs (all you can eat) for $23.95 and I have never seen so many people (adults and young kids) go to town on these things!! Buckets and buckets were being brought out and emptied. I don't like seafood at all (except maybe tuna out of a can) but apparently these things are good here! I had a burger and it was pretty good, it's hard to screw up a burger though. The wait was short and the food was brought out pretty quickly.
