The food was surprisingly good. Came with a group of 5. Smash burgers were a hit. I tried the lobster roll and it was good too, lots of big lobster pieces, nothing fancy. Fries are extra, they were good too. The salad bar looked good but we didn't get it. I'm also a little sketched out by salad bars. The worst part were the drinks. They have a cooler with seltzers and a few beers. But they advertised a wine special with the lobster roll. They had a choice of red wine, white wine, and a rose. No detail on what those were. Ordered the white. It was bad. The espresso martini was also bad. An espresso shot with vodka I guess? It tasted like an iced espresso, good but not meant to be iced. I'm trusting there was alcohol in it. No creaminess. No sweetness. The other desserts were FIRE! Ordered a berry shortbread thing, a toasted coconut something, and a peanut butter banana thing. Disappointed. We have been wanting to go eat lobster rolls here since they opened. We finally went. The $30 lobster rolls were barely 6 inches long and had a minimal amount of lobster meat. The only meat in the roll was claw. There was very little flavor in tarragon or the lobster salad. As diners who has had exceptional Lobster rolls before, these did not meet our expectations at all. Had this on my list to try for while and it did not disappoint! What a bright, airy dining spot - clean, cheery with a beach vibe. The dining area is not big but there's a nice terrace outside as well. Hubs had the clam chowder and a large salad plate - soup was good and he loved all the salad items, especially all the pickled items (he was so excited about the pickled watermelon and the nice gentleman whose name I can't remember told us they sell it by the jar - it's a staple at our house now!). I had a single social burger - so fresh and good; i asked for the social sauce on the side but it was SO good go ahead and slap it on your burger!). This place is super cute!! It's not a large space but they fit quite a bit of seating in to the restaurant. The service was fantastic. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. The food looked and smelled great. The menu looked fantastic. We chose the salad bar and it was a hit!! The salad dressings are made in house (except ranch) the toppings are quite expansive which is fantastic because there are not salad bars in the area that I have found. This place was terrific and the prices were great. The one negative is that you pay at the beginning and they ask about the tip which is a shame because I gave a standard tip BUT if I would've been asked at the end I would've given a larger tip so that's unfortunate for the staff. First time there. We didn't know if to get a table first or order first, it was a little confusing. Place was very clean. Seating was a little tight inside. They have ample seating outside but with the heat index it was up to 109f outside. We noticed the temperature inside was a little warm also. My wife had the single smashburger. I had the salad bar with a grilled chicken breast. She said her smashburger was good. The salad bar was exceptional. Ice cold veggies, lots of fresh toppings. They have what they call a hydration bar. Lots of great drink choices. While eating I noticed the cashier had not charged us enough for the food we received. I went to her with the receipt and told her to figured it out while we ate. The manager came over with my grilled breast and I told him I owed him some money. There were ample toppings to choose from and they kept it nice n clean and filled. They also had burgers on the menu. My oldest upgraded to include fries. The fries were cooked perfectly and not too greasy. You can grab strawberry/blueberry lemonade, green tea, or sweet/unsweetened tea from the hydration hub. The fries were a standout--crispy, well-seasoned, and addictive! For drinks, I tried both the Blueberry Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade--both were refreshing, fresh, and full of flavor. My husband went with an unsweetened tea and enjoyed it as well. We didn't get to try the salad bar this time, but it looked fresh and full of options. I definitely plan to bring my mom here for it since she was a loyal Sweet Tomatoes fan before they closed. First time dining here. It's a walk up to the counter order place. The line moved fairly quickly. The menu is limited but what they do make is outstanding. The clam chowder was hot and had good flavor with good amount of clams. The salad bar is impressive. You make your own. The veggies and other fixings were crisp and fresh. Someone else had the burger which was also good. They have gluten free buns so that's a bonus. We also had the sweet potato fries basket which was very good. The environment was clean, friendly, casual and relatively small. Inside seating somewhat limited but a large outdoor seating area with umbrellas. Oh yeah, the bathrooms are very clean! The salad bar...OMG... full of freshness, variety and creativity! So many of my favorite selections such as pickled onions, corn, broccoli salad, beets, fresh fruit, chick peas & candied pecans, just to name a few. The friendly staff were consistently wiping the bar and counter tops. This may not sound like a big deal, but now days, it's rare to see staff clean with care. The owners were on site working and speaking with customers...great to see everyone working as a team. We're headed south on a mini vacation. We'll definitely stop on our way back home...maybe for a smash burger this time! Don't let the small size of the place or the limited number of items on the menu deter you from trying Farm Social. Okay well after all the hype figured it was time to try. I'll give a new place a couple of tries before giving a review. I wanted to be fair, yes there can be off nights with the chef...or other issues so at least twice before I give my opinion. First time in.... lobster roll, it was disappointing...a couple of larger pieces of lobster meat but mostly minced up pieces. Then I ordered the sweet potato fries thinking that they came as a side...no... $35 plus ... Too expensive for my budget for a meal that is so simple. I expected to pay at least $25.. for a lobster roll but this one really wasn't worth the money. $28.. With a tip my total was $42.00 and that was with tap water. Second time in I wanted to try the smash burger...single patty, add lettuce and onion. Nope no fries just a burger. Learned my lesson. Honestly I wasn't impressed with the whole smashed burger. Not a lot of flavor or lettuce.. nothing special. Now on the positive side, the greeting is welcoming, service was attentive without being overwhelming. I really wanted to love this spot, in my neighborhood easy peasy to get to but I'm in no hurry to get back there. The atmosphere is charming, clean and welcoming, with plenty of seating if not inside you can enjoy the fresh air with the table's outdoors. read more

Farm Social is a great addition to our culinary neighborhood! We had cheeseburgers, fries and side salads. Everything was delicious and we will be back often. Not a huge fan of standing in line to order food, but I can deal with it. Food comes out quickly, which is nice. The decor is cute and clean and and very comfortable. Prices are fair. My only concern is that for vegetarians, there is absolutely nothing. No veggie burger, nothing.
