Been here twice now and I have to say the Larb is hands-down the best Larb I've ever had. When I want Lao food I visit Charm, though they do suggest they're a Thai eatery. If I'm eating here I'm getting pork Larb and papaya salad every single time, especially if I'm bringing someone along who's never had authentic Lao or Thai food. Make sure to ask for sticky rice with either of these dishes as that's how it's traditionally eaten. I do wish there were more menu options and maybe some mixed drink options, but maybe that's just me speaking from eating at my Lao mom's house where the table is always packed with various food options that don't include ramen. Overall, this place screams authentic Lao/Thai and it's a great place to visit if you're willing to order something outside of the normal picks from the ramen and rice parts of the menu. The food tasted fine. But, customer service is everything. Sh*t happens, but if you make it right- it's no big deal. The server accidentally dumped hot ramen all over my lap. I know it was an accident and he apologized, but it sucked and left oil stains all over my skirt. I was extremely kind and understanding to this poor kid. ANY restaurant should (at the very least) comp your meal if this happens (and throw in something extra). Instead, they gave me $1.00 off my meal. ONE DOLLAR. They refused to do anything more. I'm sure this is the policy of the restaurant and not the server, but DO BETTER. read more

Delicious Thai food! We started off our meal with the egg rolls. They were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. For our entrees we ordered the Miso Ramen, Peanut Curry and the Panang Curry. All the dishes were amazing. I also want to acknowledge our incredible server, Carter. He was attentive, knowledgeable and really made an excellent meal into a truly wonderful dining experience. Its been a while since I write a review. This is definitely a place worth mentioning. I am absolutely mesmerized by their cashew chicken. I have had it many times during my short stay in Denver and recommend whomever is interested in a special delight from this small Thai restaurant. Don't forget to get a Thai team as well. I have been to many thai restaurants and the thai tea tastes different. However, the tea here is by far my favorite along with Siam Bistro in Miami. read more

What an awesome surprise this restaurant was - we impulsively tried it with our daughter on the way to an event in Denver. Service 5 / 5 - Our server was awesome, professional, and attentive. Minimized the wait during a very busy time, and overall was great. Food 5 / 5 - Great selection of entrees from a very broad menu. Our table had a mix of pork shoulder, sticky rice, curry, and Ramen. This is real Thai home cooking, delicious and packed with flavor! Especially loved the drunken noodles, yum! Perfectly spiced and noodles have really tasty caramelized flavor. Hubs and I stopped in for a quick bite while in the area. We ordered Veg dumplings (not pictured, sorry) Thai Spring Roll, Jungle rice and KaPow or Basil Chili Chicken. Everything was fresh and delicious! We weren't crazy about the spring roll but it wasn't bad. Just not our taste. My KaPow was nice n spicy with a really good balance of sweet, salt, acid, umami and a kick I wasn't expecting. Usually I can handle most heat from anywhere with no problem. I was sweatin pretty good but loved every bite. Hubs had the Jungle rice. It has a nice medium heat and excellent balance of flavors as well. For me the chicken was bland. I wish it was marinated but I'm guessing that's just not how they do it. The veggie dumpling were ok. Not amazing not awful. This place is pretty small with only 10 tables but service was quick and friendly. We met the owner/chef as well who was friendly and interested to learn about Yelp! Charm lives up to the name. This place was wonderful. Very clean and inviting. The owner is super friendly. I ordered the Red Curry, which is my favorite dish out of all cuisines. It is a blend of sweet, spicy and fragrant. Comes with a coconut milk base and is loaded with fresh vegetables (also add protein), basil and other aromatic spices. It is served with steamed rice and absolutely what I would order for my last meal. Charms take on the Red Curry is the best I've ever had. It had a great depth of flavor and freshness. I can't recommend this dish more. You can adjust the spiciness to your liking when you order; so do not be afraid. Their curry had the feeling of a cozy Sunday evening. A new Thai restaurant located in the Orchard Town Center. The space itself is large and very modern. I was excited to see a few menu items that aren't usually offered at other 'Americanized' Thai restaurants. We ordered som tum (papaya salad), chicken larb, pla rad prig (fish), khao mun gai (chicken and rice) and pad khi mai (drunken noodles). There's a little bit of spice to all the dishes and all are on the sweet side. As far as authenticity, the flavors and ingredients are there. I'm married to a Thai guy and my mother-in-law approved of the taste of most the items. The only one I wouldn't recommend is the khao mun gai (chicken). It's dry and bland, even with the sauce it comes with, but it is a good dish to try if you're not too adventurous. The portion sizes are on the smaller size. We're used to eating family style when eating Asian food and each portion really isn't made for sharing. The pla rad prig comes with 2 fillets, we are used to at least half a fish or in some instances a whole fish. We did order to-go though, so not sure if the portions would be bigger if we actually ate there? Each dish is about $13, our bill was a total of $68, so not cheap but nothing that will break the bank. Overall, not bad. We'll order again if I need a quick Thai food fix. read more

The space: clean, modern, small (but cozy) located in the Orchard mall with plenty of parking. The food: both dishes that I ordered - Panang curry with chicken and pad kee mao were surprisingly very good. Although I ordered Spicy, it was very tolerable so if you want to challenge your taste buds, I'd try the Thai spicy. Price: very reasonable It is very hard to find good Thai food in Colorado in general, and especially in Thornton, so I'm very happy to find this little joint and will definitely return. It is not authentic but I only found the now closed Thai Street in Aurora to meet that standard. read more

We took our food to go and it was disappointing. I had the pad Thai which tasted overwhelmingly of fish sauce and the noodles were undercooked. My companion had the jungle curry and said that flavor just wasn't there. On the plus side, the chicken in my pad Thai was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were very fresh. Glad we tried it, the weather was freezing out so we almost didn't. I've missed Thai food since Thai Kitchen closed in Lafayette and Charm Thai did not disappoint! We ordered the Ka Pow (basil chili chicken and rice) and Pad Khi Mao (drunken noodles), it was delicious and spicy as noted on the menu. My husband loved the Thai iced coffee! We couldn't decide on egg rolls or gyoza, so we tried both. They were good, but nothing too special. All in all I'm very happy to have found a new Thai place, we've tried others in the area and none came close to what I was looking for. On a business trip and was so excited to find such a great place close to our hotel. If I lived in Denver, it would be at the top of my list. I had the Thai Peanut Curry with potatoes, broccoli, carrot, and onions and it was SO good.
