I can't speak highly enough of Lucy at Charmin Spa Massage!! She was without a doubt the best massage therapist I've EVER had!! She's truly a professional and knows the muscular/nervous system (nerves/tension points) incredibly well, I was SO impressed! She didn't waste a SINGLE minute of the massage working on any muscles of my body that weren't in pain-- she found my tension spots and worked out the muscles that played a part in the tension along with the tension spot itself, the entire time! It was glorious, I literally can't wait to go back and see Lucy! A little background: I backpacked Southeast Asia and Europe for a year and lived abroad for a few more years after that- I've had a several hundred massages all around the world, including fancy resorts in Cabo, Jamaica, Róatan (Honduras) Philippines, Australia, etc... -- all of this to say, I have a well-established point of reference on massages! Why is Lucy the best in her field? For at least two years, I've had an intense pain under my left scapula/trapezius muscle that flared whenever I tilted my head to the left; Lucy worked out this pain! In addition, for more than five years, I've had this tension in my neck to where I couldn't tilt my head backwards or face myself upside down without immediately feeling dizzy; Lucy worked out muscles in my lower neck on either side of my spine (muscles that were so stiff I didn't even know they weren't supposed to feel like that) and now I have so much more mobility, I can even lean/tilt my head backwards and not start spinning! I had been to Charmin Spa Massage once before Covid hit in early March, I was beyond satisfied with my massage therapist even then, that's why I looked to Charmin first and, because of 2/2 A++ experiences, I will not go anywhere but Charmin!!! I don't know where Charmin owners/managers are finding these incredible massage therapists, but they are so absolutely amazing at what they do, you will not be disappointed!! Quite the contrary! Lucy is the one of, if not the best in her field; she is truly a professional. Charmin Spa Massage is extremely lucky to have her!! If this isn't the best yelp review on a massage therapist, I don't know what is (lol), I highly recommend Charmin and ask for Lucy!! Did I mention that she is so bubbly, endearing, and an absolute pleasure to be around? I will follow Lucy wherever she goes, but I hope she stays with Charmin for as long as suits her!! I have found the very best massage Spa in Orange County! Inside the establishment, there was beautiful artwork and the rooms were very clean (table, sheet & towels smelled fresh & clean). I had the 1hour massage which includes hot stones & oil! OMG, I was in heaven!!! Also, I had a "FREE" facial treatment mask which was also part of my 1 hour massage! Never tried anything like this before , but wow, my face felt refreshed and super soft! The massage itself was super professional and Lisa hit every problem area that I asked her to work on with great skill! I have been to many massage places in California but this one is the best!!! So my day started off gloomy. I had an appointment at a different spa for a hot stone massage, but it was cancelled on short notice. After calling around to several other spas, none of whom had any availability, I called Charmin Spa Massage, explained my previously cancelled appointment, that I had taken the day off work just to have a massage and relax, and was overjoyed when they said they could squeeze me in! The minute I walked in to the spa I was so happy! The place is beautiful, echoing calm and softness throughout. I have never felt so great and amazing after a massage! The staff was polite and helpful, my masseuse was amazing, always making sure I was comfortable. This is a great spa for anyone who truly wants to relax and feel amazing. Recently, due to persistent back pain, I found this massage place. When I walked in, the receptionist asked me attentively about the areas of pain and how long I had been experiencing it. I had previously tried chiropractors, cupping, and acupuncture, but none of them worked well for me, so I was just looking to give this a try. I went there with my family for a spa day. The room is very clean and private with soft music. We took the 60min body massage. The employees is very skillful, released my pressure from the work.
