Large Mango Snowflake with a scoop of Vanilla!
    Wyatt K.

The Charming I've Bar is exactly it's name! The staff is very kind and the food is DELICIOUS. I haven't had shaved ice like that before. We even got to play some ping pong! It's tasty and thoughtfully made and we will be back again!

Typical order. Mango below, with a scoop of pistachio ice cream on top. Behind is a piña colada blend, with sparkling water.

This little store is fun, and a great addition to Family-Friendly treats, and date nights! My family is always searching for the frozen ice-cream-like concoctions like this! Search #sweetsnow. #bingsoo. #bingsu. #shavedice. Etc. It's family owned and operated. New to this Asian dessert?! I got you... My go-to order is Mango ice cream, topped with the creamy mango snow, whipped cream on top. And I always get the lychee flavored mochi cubes under it all!

Pineapple Passion Fruit Drink = Bomb!! Mango Shave Ice = bomb!! Happy Costumers! I highly recommend this spot. Hidden gem.

We were greeted nicely and welcomed. The ice cream is very good although it's a bit pricy. $6 for a single scoop. Not loud and easy to talk. Comfortable seating for adults and children.

Hidden gem in the heart of Thousand Oaks. After dinner we stumbled into this quant ice cream shop. My kids were so excited and the owner was super patient and nice. Love supporting family businesses and this is a good one. I wasn't even really craving anything but the gentleman suggested I get a shaved ice and I'm glad I did. I'm obsessed with shaved ice especially Korean style and I have had many places but this was supreme. The shaved ice was smooth and perfect texture and the vaniila ice cream was a perfect contrast. There was some jelly like thing in there that was insane and I'm honestly surprised there's not a line out the door. This place should be on your dessert list.

This is a nice little spot to get Asian-style desserts and drinks. They have snow ice which is similar to shaved ice but milky in texture. They also have several ice cream flavors. I tried the chocolate peanut butter, and it tasted homemade. Definitely not something factory-made in my opinion. My recommendation to the owners, who are lovely by the way, is to have additional smaller serving sizes. The small is more like a medium right now, and the large is massive. Looking forward to checking out other items on their menu!

Came here for ice cream after a show at the center down the street. Unique decor and great ice cream flavors. Our server was nice. It's a bit pricy so we like to come here as a treat.

Great new hidden gem in TO with yummy ice cream, easy parking and fun ping pong table. It's a cute family owned place with mother husband, and daughter. We had a great date night here!

Delicious bingsu, we had banana snow ice cream and strawberry snow ice cream. Love the lychee at the bottom of the dish! The owners are so nice and it is a cool spot :)

The desserts are delicious, the owners are friendly, and they have ping pong! It's a fun place to spend an hour or so.

    Pineapple passion fruit sparking water

My 7yo daughter said the chocolate snowflake was the most delicious thing she has had in her life! Service was great and very friendly. I had the Pineapple Passionfruit Sparkling water and it was delicious too! We will definitely be back

Such a cute spot! The gentleman helping us was so sweet and kind. The snow with the ice cream was SOO yummy- the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing. The serving size was perfect as well. Will most definitely be back!

This lovely little spot just opened. Folks were super nice and welcoming. Unique "snowflake" ice to complement the ice cream of your choice was super cool and the offerings include mystery jellies and fruit. Ice cream was very reminiscent of Thriftys (heck. That's what it might have been!?). While it won't be my go to spot, it will be every time I eat at hot pot place next door.

Vanilla snow ice (bingsu!) with a scoop of banana nut ice cream. Lovvve the little jellies in the bottom.

They are overpriced. It cost close to $40 for two shaved ice. It's a unique product but with Beverly Hills prices.

As a result, Dear Hubby and I haven't been close by to Little Calf to remember to stop in for quite a while. Recently, though, after a nearby medical appointment I felt like some non-dairy ice cream. It was a Saturday in the mid-afternoon, and they weren't very crowded, which worked out great for us. They always have at least four options for frozen "ice cream" without the cows' milk dairy. Having just been through an MRI test, I decided to treat myself to a small sundae. Hadn't had one in ages! Their hot fudge is outstanding! Just the hit of chocolately goodness I was craving. I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. I remarked to DH that I miss all the plants that the previous business owner had kept out on the patio for atmosphere. The current iteration is clean, but on the boring side. We love their food, so I'm overlooking the lack of ambiance for now. That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. Theme restaurants are more rare these days than they ought to be. I'm sorry for our kids and grandkids that they don't get to experience more of those kinds of visually interesting kinds of places without having to go to a theme park. I definitely enjoyed my small sundae as a wind-down from the whole MRI experience!

They got a variety of ice creams, some common ones but also some new ones. This is the first place I ever had a chance to try the espresso ice cream, which is ice cream with a shot of espresso, and it was delicious, especially as a coffee lover and ice cream lover. Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. I can't wait to come back and grab another ice cream espresso from here and maybe try one of their sandwiches. Yum!

Overall? Why travel for European flavors when you can just come here and save yourself the jet lag?…read moreThis place was fantastic. It's tucked away in an unassuming corner with a relaxed outdoor seating area next to a fountain that somehow makes the whole experience feel even better. The flavor lineup balanced classics with more creative combinations, and honestly, everything looked like a home run. Service was good and the gelato itself absolutely delivered Parking? Lot I had: Blackberry Mascarpone (5/5): This was killer. The blackberry brought a deep, jammy sweetness while the mascarpone added this rich, fatty creaminess that rounded everything out beautifully. It tasted layered and balanced instead of just sweet for the sake of being sweet. The kind of flavor that makes you immediately start debating whether getting another scoop is irresponsible or completely justified The Elvis (5/5): Elvis knew what he was doing. Banana, chocolate, and peanut butter sounds like it could go off the rails fast, but this combo absolutely worked. The banana actually tasted real instead of artificial candy flavoring, which immediately elevated the whole thing. Rich, nostalgic, slightly over the top in the best possible way. A genuinely great gelato flavor

This was the closest location, and a perfect spot to hang out for a while longer. After scoring our small gelatos, we headed out to sit in the sunshine adjacent to the fountain out front. It was just warm enough to be pleasant, and the wind mostly behaved by not chasing napkins away on the breeze. Since I had to give up dairy a few years ago, it's such a pleasure to be able to count on Tifa for having three to four flavors each day without it. The little tea wafers they add to the gelato are delightful for their delicate flavor and flaky texture. Whoever does the hiring for their shops seems to do a great job of finding friendly employees who display warmth in their welcoming greetings. I understand that the real estate prices at this center must be expensive, but it's a shame that the indoor space here is very tight. A number of the other Tifa locations have more elbow room, and encourage lingering by offering games and puzzles to keep the young and young-at-heart amused while enjoying their gelato and chocolate treats. That's the only reason for four stars instead of five here.

Unfortunately those of us with a nut based topping had a rancid nut oil taste, maybe a function of being in these little drawers at the counter for God knows how long. The cherry on top was that there is a street fighter arcade game there that said 100 Yen on the coin slot. I asked the kid working if it was set up to take quarters, or was just for show, and he said yeah, you can put quarters in, and then it promptly stole my kids quarter and the kid behind the counter wouldn't replace it.
