Still my go to place! Knowledgable and quick. I accidentally washed a Tag Heuer and yes I died a little inside bc when I found it there at the bottom of the washer what was once 12 now said 6...spin cycle definitely working. I gently wrapped it up and brought it over asking if my watch could be saved. $65, 5 days (had to order parts) and it was like brand new, working fine 6 months later, they even cleaned the watch. Several other places were not able to fix it, told me send it to Tag Heuer, quoted $120+ and ~2 week wait. Lots of negative reviews that they don't smile here. So I was reluctant to let a Kiosk vendor work on my co-axial Omega Seamaster-but it was gaining about 15 seconds a minute and probably overdue for servicing. I think they send it out to someone with one of the special high-end machines that can calibrate all of the jewels in a co-axial-which is even what most high end Omega watch sellers would do. They charged about $75 LESS than expected/other quotes and got it back to me in less than a week. It works perfectly again! Looks like a brand new watch. read more

Update: Owner argued they could do a battery replacement only. Said he could have opened the watch properly - not helpful since their own employees already damaged it. Their policy: damage the watch? Too bad nothing we can do for you. Don't go here - take your goods to a respectable place. I have a simple Movado Museum watch. Taylor tried to open my watch for a simple battery replacement. He did not know how and in the process of trying damaged it. Not once did he mention he was unsure or didn't know how to open the watch based on model or make. I will be sending this straight to Movado for damage assessment and repair. I will be seeking full compensation for the damage they caused. Warning: don't take expensive watches here. I've been here before and I'm always pleased with the quick service and great prices. While I don't buy watches here, I do bring them to get repaired. There are plenty of other places to go and get this done (I have a high-end watch which I dropped off at the original store also in the mall...I'm still waiting for it's return) but Charming Watches makes it quick and easy. Which is kinda weird to me because most watches open up the same and I assume different batteries, different prices. But oh well I was desperate. Went today to get my Citizen watch band replaced. My existing (aftermarket) leather band had ripped from the buckle after it hit the floor. I actually put another one on, but that one didn't fit exactly right, it had about 1/8 gap and it would jiggle, so since I had to run an errand to the mall, I decided to stop by and get a another band. First time getting my band replaced! Very quick, less than 5 mins to change, $21.75, after tax. My first choice of a silicone band was a little big, and that was after the technician put the band on and I left! I came back a few seconds later and he was nice enough for me to try a different silicone band that fit my "girlie" size wrist. Had it changed again at no cost or headache. The battery in my Seiko chronograph died and the second hand didn't center. I planned to send it to a service center under warranty, but thought it would be worth paying for a repair rather than wait 3 weeks for a warranty fix. The little kiosk doesn't show up on the Stoneridge directory for some reason, so I called them from inside the mall. They're right next to Macy's, if anyone has the same problem. Gene, the young guy working there, told me the battery replacement would be $18.00. Seemed more than reasonable. He opened the watch, replaced the battery and had it back together in about 5 minutes. He also fixed the sweep hand...as it turned out, there's an external adjustment I didn't know about. He fixed that little problem in about one minute. Total time from finding the kiosk to walking away with a perfectly functioning watch: 10 minutes. I don't need watch repair very often, but the next time I do, this will be my place. read more
