There is a verification of identity form I asked him to sign which just states my name, address and which ID, like my driver's license they verified and then the notary signs that. I buy about a house a month and have wells Fargo do the majority of my signings without any notary yet refusing to sign that, which he refused... Really annoying. He also didn't know you are able to sign the document beforehand for an "acknowledgment" form (can't for a jurat). He seems to not know what's hes doing and needs some basic training still. And I actually was planning on opening up a business line of credit with Wells Fargo. Hopefully within the next week or two. I was going to chat with him about it, And apply. Definitely not now, Wells Fargo still has a long way to go to get comparable to chase with their business acumen.

Saturday 4/20/24…read more Always a great experience with SchoolsFirst! I've been living in Hawaii for the last two years, but keep my banking with SchoolsFirst. I happened to be visiting California, and needed to take care of a few things. I walked into the Placentia location, signed in, was told there's a 30min wait. Not a problem, as the kiddie table has iPads loaded with games! I passed the time with a furious game of Fruit Ninja and complimentary coffee. Account adviser Josef found me, walked me back to his cubicle. He contacted the lending department to update my mailing address, and whipped up a new debit card for me! As I was traveling, I usually go on the app to put a travel notice on my debit card, but my card was showing as inactive (it expires in May). Josef advised me that a new card was mailed earlier in the month, and that if it materializes, I should shred it. I came home 4/21, checked my mailbox...original replacement debit card was in there LOL.

Out of nowhere they started hitting my account with fees I never saw coming. No warning email, no text, no letter in the mail--nothing. Just quietly draining my money for six straight months until one day I log in and the account's negative. How does a bank let something like that happen without ever reaching out? It's insane. Got passed around like a hot potato until I finally had to talk to two different branch managers just to get someone who could actually help. And the online chat people? Absolute garbage. Rude as hell, talking down to me like I was bothering them. Made me repeat the same story over and over, wasted my entire afternoon, and in the end they still wouldn't refund everything they took. Gave me some half-assed partial credit and basically told me to deal with it. After two decades of being a customer, this is the thanks I get? Sneaky fees, zero heads-up, endless runaround, and zero respect. I'm done. Closing every single account and I will never, ever bank with U.S. Bank again. We visited this Bank of America branch this afternoon. There was only one teller assisting…read morecustomers, while another employee behind the counter appeared to be working on something else. Since the branch was not busy and we were not in a hurry, we were happy to wait. What surprised us was what happened next. After the second employee finished what she was doing, she stepped out into the lobby. Shortly afterward, another customer entered the branch and got in line behind us. The employee greeted him warmly in Spanish, then immediately returned behind the teller counter, removed the "Next Window Please" sign, and began assisting him. At that point, we had just reached the first teller's window after waiting our turn. We couldn't help but wonder why the second employee did not open her window to assist us while we were waiting, but chose to do so only after that customer arrived. We understand there may have been a reason that was not obvious to us, and we are not making assumptions. However, from a customer's perspective, it gave the appearance of unequal treatment or preferential service. We simply hope all customers are given the same consideration and opportunity to be helped when staff are available. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I got a credit card from this bank…read more3 months ago. And they said to call the number on the back of my card so they can mail me my PIN number. Well 1st it take up to an hour for the agent ( who speaks VERY broken English) to answer your call. Then they say " your PIN number will be mailed out to your home in 7 to 10 business days) well it's been over two months. I still haven't received a pin number even though I called back a second time and they said they sent out a second pin number which again I never received today I called up and I get a person who doesn't speak English, the worst one out of the tree so far and so he says he's sending out another pin number. I asked to speak to supervisor he told me to hold the line mind you I've been on the phone for over 60 minutes just to get a hold of this agent. He puts me on hold. He comes back on the phone and says stay online. The supervisor is busy. I said please don't disconnect me from this phone call. He says don't worry you won't get disconnected. Sure enough I got disconnected. I have to call back and go through all the hoops again over an hour on hold telling them the same story the same passwords the same information only to get a person that doesn't speak English correctly. They're hiring people from overseas who are not born in the United States and don't understand the banking business whatsoever until I finally after 73 minutes on hold got a supervisor who assured me that this time the third time mind you, they are sending out my pin number so I advise you whatever you do. Don't have any business to do with this bank or credit card. They are horrible.!!! I'm going to pay off my credit card debt and shut off my credit card with this company

I do my banking with Wells Fargo and this branch is the closest to my home. Most of my banking…read moreneeds are usually met through their ATMs. There are three drive-through ATMs so there is rarely a wait to use them. This is a smaller branch and on the rare occasions I have had to go inside, the teller line usually moves pretty quickly and all staff has always been very professional. My only gripe with this location is that if you need anything other than very basic services, they require you to make an appointment. There have been a few occasions when I had to send an urgent wire transfer, larger than the online wire limit, and they didn't have any available appointments for a few days. At least I know I can always go to the branch on Rose and Yorba Linda Blvd who takes walk-ins for most services without an appointment.
