Stayed here a week and here is a break down of the pros and cons: Cons: - almost every night there was loud parties going on with rowdy crowds (and that's describing these people nicely as possible if that tells you anything). As someone that travels In for work, the last thing I want to deal with is loud parties at midnight on a weeknight or a Sunday. I called the front desk and they didn't do anything as they claimed they would because it never stopped until around 5am- if this was a cheap motel I would expect it but I paid $1000 to stay here for a week and I'm now leaving with no intention of returning as of now. STAFF DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER CONCERNS. -Lots of construction guys stay here they were pretty creepy trying to hit on my 14yr old daughter in the parking lot (so keep Ur kids close!). -Large deposit- Deposit was $250 which I better be getting back - well see - I'll update review if there are any issues with that. -carpet throughout which is not very clean Pros of this place: convenient laundry facility that takes debit cards, room was clean and updated, housekeeping was friendly and was generous with supplies if needed etc. -great location read more

Just returned from a stay here. Really, really liked it. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great. Just off the freeway and the variety of cuisines in walking range was fantastic- Chinese super market (my room's kitchen had every pot and utensil I could desire...translation: knew how to use) and some really good restaurants across the street. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Just wish it had rained while I was there so I could justify throwing a log (which they sell at the front desk) into the fireplace. And, since this appears to be an informational necessity these days in choosing a hotel- free WiFi with excellent signal in my room, which was located in a building off in a corner of the property. I remember the good ole days when it most important to find a hotel with a pool. : ) read more

The Non-Smoking room we had smelled like Smoke, really strong smoke smell. We stayed in a one bedroom suite and both TVs did not work. The rooms are not as clean and updated as expected. The restroom mirror needs to be changed and the Sliding doors in the Closet are loose. At night you see groups of young men hanging around the hotel and smoking weed. I did not feel safe in this hotel and I will not recommend anyone to stay here. read more

Good Ol' Chase Suite Hotel. First let me start off by saying this was my first time staying here...and it was an interesting 2 months. The front desk staff was very nice and I never had any problems with rudeness from the day staff. Just don't run out of toilet paper in the middle of the night. LOL The general manager, Jennifer, she's a different story. She lacks one important management skill: customer service. She seems to look 'down' on her staff and guests. She'll look you in the eye, walk by without introducing herself or welcoming you. Rude! Moving on. There is NO BUSINESS CENTER! I repeat...there is NO business center! Suppose to be 2 laptops but they have one VERY old HP printer and an old laptop, neither work. If you need anything printed out you'll have to send it via an email to one of the front desk personnel for them to print it out. They offer an 'entertainment center' that consists of a wall of OLD movies to check out...no charge. My Room: was fine. Somewhat dated...but fine. From what I've seen, most rooms are different in furnishings and appliances. Some better than others. It was 'clean' but still had that 'hotel' smell to it. It's a rather good size (one bedroom suite w/ king bed) with a full kitchen. They supplied everything except oven baking pans. The housekeeping staff seemed nice, there was a bit of a language barrier, but they were helpful when I needed something. The rooms get a complete clean (changing linens, vacuum, etc) probably every 7-9 days. Other days it's just replenishing towels, soaps and trash bags. There was a housekeeping shortage when we first arrived so the turn over times were a lot longer. Smoker's Policy: If you are a smoker, there is a 'smoking' area by building '9' but most people just smoke out in front of their rooms or even at the pool (which you aren't suppose to do). Even the maintenance staff walks around smoking, so I guess that's a rather 'loose' policy. Just don't smoke IN the rooms because they charge $250 fee for extra cleaning. The pool and hot tub area are nice and they have a lot of seating around and there's an electric grill for the guests to use. The laundry area is by the pool. It's nothing like the company pics on the website. There are 3 washers and 4 dryers, older models but they worked well. It's $1.25 per load. Breakfast was nice. It was something different everyday; hot and cold foods, coffee, tea, orange juice, bagels and more. They serve a light 'dinner' Mon.-Thurs. evenings but I never went. They have what they call a 'gift shop' but it's just a room with candy, beer, wine, sodas and some 'convenience" items. All WAY over priced! The exercise room has 3 machines, 2 treadmills, an elliptical and some free weights. I do agree with other reviewer's about the thin walls. We had a Julia Roberts' 'Pretty Woman' moment. It was 1 a.m. and my husband and I heard what sounded like someone getting smacked with a belt. Well....the closer we got to the sound the louder the smacks got and then we heard moans and groans! We decided to step out front and after a few minutes the man and his 'friend' stepped outside too. She was wearing thigh high shiny spiked boots, a fuschia pink mini robe and even had the blonde bob cut. I thought I was watching a scene from Pretty Woman! Then from around the corner another guy comes walking up with a case of beer and no shoes! The woman greets him excitedly and all 3 go back in the room. We went back inside and tried hard to fall asleep quickly. There are a lot of places to eat nearby and there's a mall across the street. There is a great little diner in the office building behind the hotel , Wake Up America' and the food and service were both great. I recommend this hotel for short term stays. I have stayed at possibly one or two places worse than this place. Far too many things to list here. The two bedroom suite was not clean when we arrived to check in 20 minutes after check in time. There is a used q-tip on the window sill, 3 CRT 24 inch TVA, two of which do not function, keys did not work, the decor in the master br consists of 3 thumb tacs , the blinds almost block out the McDonald's parking lot light from shinning through well until morning when they function equally fighting the sun rise. It smell like mold rolled up in mildew, the rugs and furniture are stained and filthy. If I were homeless I would refuse a return invite in favor of sleeping under an overpass. Spent four weeks here. Place is an absolute dump. Rooms aren't clean. Mold/mildew was growing in my dresser. Colleague found condoms under furniture after a bit of rearranging. Staff very unfriendly - especially security guard - which then makes you wonder why this is even required. Front office doors locked at 10PM (why - is this not a safe area?). Breakfast is terrible with choice often between powdered eggs or powdered eggs with ham. Often served on styrofoam. No HD TV (don't let the widescreen TV fool you). Will never stay here again, absolutely hated the experience. Recommend staying just up the road at one of the other extended stay type hotels by a recognized brand. I think this hotel serves more as semi-permanent low income housing rather than an extended stay business hotel. read more

Stayed here to visit my family in the area. Staff were friendly and warm. My suite is very much spacious and updated.I luke that they have fully furnished kitchen where I can cook and prep my foods. Shops and restaurants are walking distance. Pool and jacuzzi a plus too! Will definitely come back next summer! read more

Stellar!! I love love coming back to this hotel and I have been to different hotels in the bay area. The staff are wonderful, can't ask for anything better than their service. Always clean, comfortable beds, I love the fireplace and the full kitchen area especially the oven and dishwasher! Living area is very spacious. Throw something in the grill while doing some laundry and it's all by the pool area! So conveniently located close to everything! The customer service upon arrival was the worse. Three to four other couples prior to me were sitting around at 5:15pm wait to have their rooms finished being cleaned. I was hoping I would not fall pray to this since I had called at 1pm to make sure my reservations were all good. I had no such luck. After being told the room was not in fact ready, I was then at that time told about the $250 deposit for the room which was not on any information I read over when booking the room. We were able to final get into the room at 6pm. The room had mildew all over the bathroom ceiling, not enough towels for the four people sharing the room, and even though it had a kitchen in it it hardly had any dishes. The beds were really comfy though and when checking out the staff was friendly and very helpful. However, the day prior staff and the room not being ready when check in is at 3pm, I will never stay here again, or recommend this place. read more

We found a good deal on hotel tonight app and booked it online right away. After we booked it we went there like 20 mins later and it was all set. Our one room bedroom suite was ready and they reminded us that Chase Suite hotel is nonsmoking Hotel and also there is a $250 deposit that they hold it during our stay. Our room was at Building number 6 on 2nd floor and there was only one more room on our floor which we liked, since we like to have some privacy. The Room was spacious with whole kitchen and everything you need in a kitchen and on top of it it all the rooms were clean. I enjoyed watching CNN news on TV in the living room while my boyfriend was on his his phone using their free Wifi. Kitchen has a full size fridge so we were able to keep our drinks and some food we had. Another thing we liked was all the rooms have black out curtains and it was quiet outside, so we both slept like babies. ;-) We are already planning to stay there again in September for our next concert event at Shoreline. read more

Not at all what was advertised. We got two adjoining rooms. On arrival the rooms were filthy. I don't think they vacuumed after the last several guests. We didn't complain the first night because it was late and we were tired. We went out for the day assuming they would clean the room while we were out but when we returned no one had entered the room all day. We then learned that they have a strict policy to only service the rooms every other day! Of course it was late again and the kids needed to go to bed. The Master bath didn't even have a shower curtain and the bathtub is nasty. The floors look like they haven't been mopped in quite a while. The rooms need a lot of work as they haven't been upgraded since the 80's including the nasty brown carpet. read more

This hotel was great bang for the buck. We booked it on the Hotels Tonight app and wasn't expecting much because most of the hotels around Newark were in the 300 price range. I think we paid around 120 for one night. We were pleasantly surprised to walk in to a quant and spacious suite. There's a living room with tv and fire place. (But since these are older units the fireplace burns real wood and I'm sure hadn't been lit in years). There's a fully furnished kitchen with a breakfast bar. The bedroom is a separate room off of the living room with a good king size bed and 5 pillows. The bathroom is part of the bedroom and there's a make up desk in front of a mirror. While the units have been freshened up and are in pretty good shape you'll find a few things that reflect the true age of the property such as older, loose knobs on the shower, Formica counter tops, noisy compressor in refrigerator. The property looks more like an apartment complex than a hotel. Nicely laid out. Breakfast bar is included. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat, especially if it was for a longer stay. read more

Horrible place to stay. There were parties every night that lasted all night long u til 10am. "SECURITY" does nothing, even after notifying front desk. Our car was vandalized one night. This hotel kept my credit card information on file after I had stayed with them and I ended up receiving an incorrect charge for a full week stay that was not mine. This amounted to nearly $1000 of incorrect charges that would not have occurred if they had handled my credit card information correctly. DO NOT STAY HERE. I booked through Orbitz. When I book places, I check the terms and conditions carefully. So I was rather surprised to find that they expected not just a credit card for incidentals, but a $250 deposit. I got here after a long drive, so I did not have a lot of energy to deal with hassles. Had I been more awake I would have contested this and just asked for a refund- However, I also had three other people I needed to provide lodging for, so I didn't have much choice but to put it on my partner's credit card. I requested an ADA accessible room on the booking, and again at the front desk. They saw my wife was in a mobility device, and acknowledged the fact. However, When I got to the room, there was a 3" step at the door. By that point my partner who is disabled just wanted a place to sleep, so we got a folding ramp out of our car, and made do. The room was not accessible, not in the least bit. Both bathrooms (it was a suite) had slippery tubs and no grab bars- my partner really needs a roll in shower to be safe, so no shower for us prior to our Christmas get together with family. For a $250 deposit, I expected that at least the room would be clean. Wrong. The carpet was stained, the couch was stained. The furniture was old and beat up. The bathroom sink was badly rusted. TVs were old and fuzzy. The fixtures haven't been updated in at least 10-15 years. My sister in law, who was also staying with us, is a state worker, and found their bathroom also had other safety issues beyond the tub being practically greased- the shower controls were broken and the water alternated hot and cold. Worse, the exhaust fan stopped working after a few minutes, which she told me could cause a fire if the motor overheated. The placement of the furniture (which was so badly dinged and scratched that it had splinters in places) was such that it was impossible for my elderly mother in law to close the blinds. When I came in to close them for her I had to crawl across her bed to get to them- and then they wouldn't stay closed. I ended up clipping them shut with a coat hanger clip. Tried breakfast the next morning- Stale pancakes, some sort of spam hash that I could not stomach, and eggs from some sort of mix. There was bagels and cereal, luckily, or I'd have gone hungry. After breakfast, I tried to get in touch with a manager. The gentleman at the front desk was very considerate and understood that all of the above added to an abysmal stay- but he could not get in touch with the on-call manager. From 8 AM to when we checked out at noon, I tried to get someone in a managerial position to talk to me. I went as far as calling the corporate offices, however, nobody answered there, either. I left messages there for someone to call me- it's been two business days and nobody- either from the hotel or from corporate, has got in touch with me. I've tried to get them to make it right, but they don't seem to be interested in either my comfort or my safety. They certainly aren't interested in my repeat business, they've made that abundantly clear. I'd advise that you do not give them yours. read more

I do enjoy staying at this hotel, Granted that they could go through a remodel and doing some face lifts in the rooms will help out a lot with the reviews. The front desk staff could smile a little more. Besides these little setbacks the location is great, near to the freeways and mall is like 1 minute walk away. Near to a lot of great restaurants as well. Three stars is ample enough right now but if they do some Renovation work then I would love to give this place a 5 star. read more

I'm very disappointed in this hotel. I was expecting a nice clean relaxing environment and only got 1 of the 3. The room was disgusting. I found cum stains on the carpet in the room and on the sofa and lounge chair, the tub had specs of blood in it, the fridge had mold and the oven was broken. I'm left with souvenirs though of itchy skin and bites on my legs and ankles. The deception is incredible. Check in and out was really fast which I loved! The only reason for the negative one star is because the rooms need some upgrades. The bed looks really old and so do some of the furniture. The complimentary breakfast was GOOD! The had some potatoes with sausage.... mmm good. You do have to wake up a little early for it but worth it :) read more

PLEASE READ.....DO NOT BRING PETS HERE This "pet friendly" hotel was great until I got a old room (not what appears to be a remodeled room that I was shown) because I had a pet. Then on the last day of our stay (day3) I woke up and found my perfectly healthy cat dead. At only 9 years old he had many more years left. It appears that the room wasn't cleaned very well as my cat found a pill on the ground and ingested it. I can only imagine what was laying around for my 4yr old to eat. The tv in both the bedroom and living room did not work. I had maintenance come and got one in bedroom to work however once it was turned off and back on it didn't work again. When it did work the cable channels did not match up to the cable guide. For example the cable guide showed channel 3 Fox News. There was no 3. There is 28-2 0 or 28-3 or 29-2. It was really weird and I've never had channels like that on a cable tv. I was very disappointed when I just wanted to lay back and watch some tv. Damn it read more

Booked for 3:00pm and got there at around 4:00pm, front desk clerk told us room is still not ready for occupancy. Ended up for another room that is available which my wife asked if we can check the room and also the location, it's because it's all the way to the end of the property before we occupy it. Then they asked for security deposit but the problem is she told us that it will be credit back to our account least 3 days. And that's not the only horrible experienced we had, on the last morning stay at that place around 7:18am to be exact my wife greet the front clerk with a "Good Morning" and guessed what? Clerk (Filipina) replied that you're too early! Breakfast start at 7:30am, so what's wrong with that? You can't get coffee or water around that time? My wife was only calmed down with the help of another Older Filipina staff which she told us to go ahead. And we noticed that after 5 mins there, 2 guests (Americans) not sure but she never say anything. And what I noticed is the breakfast (foods) were not ready at the scheduled time, it's late at least 10-15mins. Is this the way they treat their Guests? I usually don't want to do reviews unless if it is too offensive or inappropriate actions from the staffs. I hoped this will help those planning to book at this place. read more

As a person who works in customer service....I expect a lot from hotels. The staff here needs an upgrade. I'm currently in the room while I write this review..room is nice size and not to shabby, thought pretty outdated. My friend booked through here for her wedding, seeing as people wanted to have a good time, and we wanted to get shuttled from here to the wedding/reception and back. They started messing up when they could only shuttle during certain times and were not accommodating at all in this aspect. Then our whole wedding party that needed to be shuttled over did not fit on the shuttle and they were not willing to make two trips...their response was a "oh well". I don't understand why Palmdale Estates uses them as a hotel....when they mess up, they don't even show an emotion of giving a damn. They try to shuttle you off well before the party ends...I ended up paying 25 for a taxi to take me back. Never staying here ever again. read more

Booked this hotel online through Hotels.com for some of my family friends that were staying over the holidays. It was a good rate for a suite with a kitchen and close to a lot of things. Sure there was some pros and cons but overall more pros. As for the cons I would say they need flat screens and to update the fixtures. My husband and I traveled to Newark for a surgery he was having. The hotel was clean and well cared for, but what earned it a 4 star rating was the service. The staff went over and above to make sure that we were comfortable. The overall atmosphere was extremely warm and welcoming, not at all a 'corporate feel' where you're just the 'next person checking in.' I would definitely recommend this hotel. read more

Ok room/suite for the priced paid. Breakfast runs out. Fast, and often. Eat first or chase down the staff for everything from plastic, no make that skimpy styrofoam bowls from Costco, cereal, coffee, coffee mugs, pancakes, glasses, and everything else. Three TVs and no DVD player!? Grimy bathroom w soap, but no shampoo!? Functional but seriously dated kitchen. Also the no smoking in the room 'policy' is none to be trusted. Me and my kids got a suit for the weekend since my husband was staying out here for the weekend as we were swimming in the pool my husband noticed "poop" in the water but we thought to ourselves "na it can't be" there are workers walking around the area watching us and everyone else swim they would of said something but nope nothing was said and we didn't think of bringing it up to the front office because it was such a nice hotel we couldn't imagine them being that grows but they are. Later that night we wanted to go for a night swim and someone finally brought it up.This morning before check out I made sure the place was spotless and EVERY SINGLE THING was there no missing dishes,remote controls etc wellll SHOULD OF TOOK A PICTURE BEFORE I LEFT BECAUSE SOMETHING FELT WEIRD WHEN I LOOKED AT BOTH REMOTE CONTROLS THAT I LEFT ON THE BED. When I go to check out everything is fine then I realized I left some shoes in my room so I call back and let them know so they can go check and they do front desk calls me back to let me know I can go pick up my boots I go back I pick them up and leave 30 minutes later I get a phone call that apparently house keeping can't find BOTH remote controls and I GO OFF because I MADE SURE THEY WERE LEFT ON THE BED she then tells me "sorry only one is missing witch is still a 120$ charge" and I WENT OFF I'm making the drive tomorrow to go talk to the manager because as of rite now they are charging me for a fuckin remote that I have NO USE FOR !!! I'm pissed this place was TO GOOD TO BE TRUE !!! Don't do it I have a feeling I have a court case with these people because I'm not letting this slide !!! Wow, what a great experience I had with this hotel. The staff was fantastic! Very attentive to mine and my families needs. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was fantastic, large, clean and oh so comfortable! The breakfast was good. Upon checkout, when breakfast was already put away, my oldest son made a comment about still being hungry (when isn't he..lol) a very kind woman, I think her name was Rossi, who had just finished cleaning the breakfast area took it upon herself to find out what he wanted to eat and got it for him right away. Granted, it was only a bagel but she wanted to make sure that no guest left hungry. How great was that!! No HOT water since I checked in at 3pm and it's now 12am....Phone service don't work. Called front desk with my cell phone since there land line didn't work, and haven't gotten any response back. No stock towel, Sink water was clog end up getting a head ache over one thing after another. Won't be booking here again even if it was half off. Btw heater don't even work blow only ac cold air. Even made sure I didn't have the ac on. Should had read review on yelp before booking! read more
