I came to Chaska on a Friday with my sister, and we are big fans of Indian food, we were excited to try it. We ordered the masala dosa, pav bhaji, and chicken tikka masala, and we enjoyed everything. Nothing disappointed. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but it clearly has a steady flow of customers. When we arrived, there were already people dining, and throughout our meal there were plenty of people coming in to pick up orders. The inside is cute and honestly a nice change. I feel like a lot of restaurants in Las Vegas stick to the same layout and design aesthetic, and this place feels different in a refreshing way. As for service, it was kind of in the middle. Not super fast or overly efficient, but not slow either. It felt reasonable and didn't take away from the experience. Overall, a great spot for Indian food with good dishes and a cozy, unique atmosphere.

When we walked in, the restaurant was empty. The waiter was watching reels on his phone and did not notice us for a long time. We tried to get his attention but it was a long, awkward wait. Finally he noticed us and sat us. We got the tandoori chicken, lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, vegetable biryani, and garlic naan. The chicken tandoori was so dry and hard. The lamb in the lamb vindaloo was so tough to chew too. The meats overall were hard as a rock. We did not get a refill on our water either. After 30 minutes, we quickly asked for some boxes and paid. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and not worth the $105 we paid ($91bill plus 15% tip). We will most likely not return.

You walk in the door and you can smell how good the food is going to be. Was seated immediately. Ordered garden samosa and garlic naan for the table. And then I ordered the lamb biriyani for myself. The lamb was tender and the dish was perfectly spicy. Everything was a 10/10.

We have visited Chaska twice, first time with our dear Indian friends and then we came back to dine at Chaska again , because it was so good. Chaska is located near the Las Vegas Factory Outlets South, very accessible from the airport. The food was delicious and very flavorful. We have tried different menu items and everything was prepared fresh and you can taste the freshness, absolute perfection. Each dish was prepared with great care and culture pride. Everything was prepared with fresh ingredients that clearly stood out. Truly amazing authentic flavors of India . The highlight of our meal was Tandoori chicken, very flavorful and not spicy at all, perfect blend of spices. The garlic naans were heavenly good . We have even tried an Indian beer and it was very tasty. The restaurant has two dining rooms and the entire restaurant is beautifully decorated. The decor is gorgeous and elegant. It is very welcoming and very clean. The service was great, very professional and attentive. Although the restaurant was very busy for our second time visit, the staff managed to handle everything with professionalism. Excellent service. Especially compliments to the Chef Vijay who prepared our food with such a great care. Overall: we had a great experience and we highly recommend it! Must try this Indian restaurant if you're into good Indian food! It is not just a meal- it is truly a delightful and blissful experience worth every minute of a drive from the Strip.

We had such a great time at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. The Service was even more delicious. Chef Vijay was so friendly and amazing!!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Order the Indian whiskey and you won't be disappointed. It was so smooth on the front and back end no burn. It was amazing.

We entered the restaurant- waited for 10 minutes- We were left alone and nobody checked on us. We finally had to ask for help. Nobody took our order another 15 minutes or checked on us. We finally decided to walk away with no food service.

Let's start first by saying the employee there was very rude!!!!! I was there for a birthday dinner and he was so annoyed with us until i almost got up and walked out. Not only was the service bad but the food was extremely salty. I purchased the vegetarian Hakka noodles and vegetarian samosa. The food was very overpriced for the portions. I will never come back here!!!

Highly disappointed with quality and way they served !! Came to Chaska with high expectations based on reviews, but the experience was not good. Ordered some south Indian stuff for kids, the dosa had no layers and not made well. The sambhar had no taste. Then ordered some Indian Chinese, hakka noodles was ok but biggest bummer was chilli panner.. it did not had the taste, missing salt, not the presentation and feel i would expect. Also, i will not expect it to be served in an IKEA plate considering the price is 17 bucks. I was highly disappointed with food and will not recommend this place .

Saw this new spot and decided to check it out with a friend (vegetarian). The restaurant has plenty of seating, and while they prefer you to order at the counter, they took our order at the table which was nice since it felt more like a full-service restaurant. Food and service were both good. My partner doesn't like spice, and Chaska, did a great job with mild spice for his food. Location is good, and the complex is fairly new. There is currently a Groupon as well. We didn't have time for a 5 course tasting but just wanted to let the Yelpers know there was a coupon if interested.

My husband and I arrived and saw what looked like two Indian restaurants right next to each other. Both entrances went to the same Chaska location. We walked into a well kept, nicely decorated space. Our waiter was the chef who suggested garlic naan, Butter Chichen and Dal Makhani (which is slow cooked lentils). The portion size was perfect, the food was delicious. Definitely coming back!!

I selected this restaurant due to their participation in Three Square Restaurant Week. Big plus for them that they had different options (and prices) for vegetarians/ non-vegetarians. Portions were more than adequate. You can see I was served naan, basamati rice, 3 veggie curries, salad, and sweet dessert. The food was excellent except the carrots in the korma were maybe previously frozen baby carrots bad texture. Staff was friendly & attentive despite my arrival 25 minutes before they closed. The area to improve would be table bussing management. I saw 3 staff leave as I arrived but several tables in the front of the restaurant had not been cleared or prepped. There appeared to be 3 staff remaining, including a chef & the host/ server. The restaurant is large but they were only using the front area which was messy. It is a nice space but the restriction to the front tables detracted from the overall food experience. They have tough competition from nearby restaurants so I hope they continue to grow their presence. I pass 4 other Indian restaurants from my house to the nearby mall but will definitely return here.

Food was amazing. So hearty and flavourful and every bite was delicious. The inside is split in two, one room is a bit more dressed up in terms of decor and the other has a counter where you can order. We went in for lunch and it seemed like a lot more people were coming in for to-go orders. Makes for a great lunch if you're having a mall day!

Chaska met my personal challenge as the first restaurant in the US that had dal makhani as good as I ate in India. Everything we ordered (dal makhani, paneer butter masala, naan, rice, chai) was good. The portion sizes were appropriate, service was as quick as you can expect for freshly cooked food, the spices and heat were on point. The place is also really cool in terms of ambiance. It's got classic Indian cinema-style art, plus a classy non-gaudy rose motif. It can work as a casual evening or lunch, or alternatively as a romantic night out. Definitely recommended! read more

The food is delicious, especially just the basic stuff like rice and naan. The lamb vindaloo was excellent too. Nevaeh, our server, was super nice and friendly. She was fantastic. The ambience is very nice, open with rich red paint and some boppin' modern Indian tunes playing. Definitely recommend. read more

The chef and server were courteous. Welcomed us even when we reached 30 minutes before the restaurant closing time in the afternoon. The server/chef handled three tables by himself and his wife. He entertained us quite well and told us where we could roam in Las Vegas. Apart from that, the food was excellent. Loved the chole, mainly because of the small pieces of American chilies and bell peppers as garnishing; good idea! Tasty dal makhani! Although the restaurant was a little away from the LV strip, it was worth it. The place was small and cute. Good music and ambiance. Will visit again during my next trip to LV. read more

Excellent food and amazing service! We ordered the Tandoori chicken kabob and the Malai chicken kabob. The best!! In addition to other dishes we share at our table. Excellent service! Although our waitress was new working there, she did an excellent job!! In addition, we met chef Vijay Deokar for few minutes. I discovered this little place by accident because it was near my airport hotel. I had chicken biryani, chili Naan and vegetable samosas. The food was simply delicious. This is such a terrible experience. Just two people are handling 56 customers. The service is so slow, and it doesn't seem like they keep track of who ordered first. It's all a mess. I see a fellow customer complaining to the restaurant owner about this, and the restaurant owner isn't willing to accept it; he is getting defensive. I haven't seen something like this before. I'm never coming here again. It's been 1 hour and 10 minutes, and I finally got my naan and curry. We ordered paneer butter masala with naan, and it's nowhere close to being good. The paneer is so hard. What a mess. read more

As an Indian, the butter chicken was by far the best I've ever had in Vegas. The second I took a bite, I grew 3 inches in height, my skin cleared up, and I instantly gained 1.7 million followers on Instagram. Everyone on the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. In Vegas on vacation and went in search of Indian food. Found this place and it was like hitting the jackpot. Food was absolutely amazing. Broad range of flavors and all exceptional quality. Service was great. The chef has a real talent mixing traditional Indian and street food that reminds me of visiting India as a child. Had lunch here on Oct 10th, my hubby's birthday with another couple. First time and it did not disappoint. Food was incredibly delish! Super nice guy running front of the house, Nick and he was handling it! The Chef even came out and chatted with us and asked if we were enjoying the entrées which we praised him on all of them. And to top it all off, Gov. Lombardo came down the stairs from the private area of the place - now you KNOW it has to be good. read more

Terrible service and if you can believe food was even worse. by the time our bread came the entrees got cold and then we were charged twice for the breads that arrived 20 minutes after the dishes. our first sign should have been when no one bright water or menu for 15-20 minutes. read more

My buddy took me to this place. I typically am not a fan of Indian food so I just let them order for all of us. I tried the Butter Chicken and another chicken dish and they were fantastic. The Garlic Naan was worth coming back for just itself. I think the seating would have been better on the second floor but I will have to try that out the next trip. It's out of my way as I live in the northwest part of town but I will be back. read more

The order taker missed 2 times what I orderEd. by the time i ate half of my food. took 15 mins to get the food menu, water served i. 20 mins. food taste was average. And finally the bill was wrong. I'd not recommend this place unless you don't have other choices and you're dying to eat any Indian food. read more

During our first visit to Chaska, we had high hopes for a delightful chaat experience based on the name and advertisements. However, our order of chilly paneer, Pani Puri, and Veg Pakora for appetizers turned out to be a major disappointment. Every dish lacked flavor, salt, and authenticity. The paneer chilly was essentially tempura paneer served with a side of bottled sweet chili sauce. When we questioned the server about our order, she admitted that it didn't seem right. I inquired about the Pani Puri and learned that it came with only 6 puris and a meager 2-3 oz of pani, which is a crucial element and should be more generous. Disappointed, I asked if we could have tamarind and spicy chutney on the side, willing to pay extra. However, it never arrived. Chef Vijay eventually joined us, and when we shared our honest concerns about the food, he responded in an outright rude manner. He instructed the server to bring us water, spices, chili, and salt so we could make our pani for the Pani Puri. This seemed foolish and out of line, considering the price we paid for bland and tasteless food. To add to the frustration, there was a mix-up where Veg Pakora was misunderstood for Veg Biryani. When the pakora finally arrived, the chutney was stale and lacked salt. The chef took back our remaining paneer chilly to correct them but returned them tossed in sweet chili sauce. This raised concerns about food safety and hygiene as we had touched this food and even double-dipped. In the end, we decided to end our dinner at Chaska and take our business elsewhere. We walked into the restaurant and were amazed with the uniqueness of the ambiance. Different slogans related to Bollywood. Got a good greeting from the owner (Vijay Deokar) and the server. Server was versed with the menu. We order Pani Puri, Egg Burji Pav, Chicken Kati Roll and Paneer Butter Masala. Food was served in a timely manner. Appetizers followed by main course. There was no long waiting between appetizers and main courses. From the first bit to the last bit, we were only talking about how good the food is and i personally feel that I haven't had so good of Indian flavored food in US. I ask to meet the cook and there I see the owner( Vijay Deokar) coming out of the kitchen wearing an apron and cook hat. I was surprised to see that the owner himself was in the kitchen cooking. Myself and my friend, we both talk to Vijay for a bit and complimented him on the great Indian flavored food he cooked for us and the server we received. We could not have gotten a better food and service. This is by far the best place. We will keep coming back to Chaska Restaurant for eating food cooked by Vijay. read more

Food came pretty quick . It was very delicious and very well presented with pickles/ aachaar. To digest the heavy food , I ordered Indian tea. Tea was very good, quantity little less. Came in small glass. I had to order one more . My suggestion would be to serve double the quantity and charge little more . I had pleasure to meet the owner and the chef . Owner was very pleasant and humble . Chef told me about the concept of serving fresh. I enjoyed talking to him. He speaks fluent English . He has experience of working in some of the top hotel chains , his culinary skills are visible in his work . I ordered idli sambar and a paneer dish to go . My daughter enjoyed idli but didn't care for methi paneer. I tasted the paneer , it wasn't to my taste . I think I ordered the wrong dish as it was heavy and little towards sweetness. We waited nearly 45 minutes for our food in a half-empty restaurant, only to receive cold, poorly prepared dishes. Chicken was really poor quality. All the food we ordered was pathetic. When we finally spoke to the manager, there was no apology, just a shrug. He was absolutely rude. The ambiance also left much to be desired -- loud, disorganized, and not particularly clean. The place was relatively empty aside from us so we were unsure initially, but it ended up being a positive experience. Definitely try this place out they deserve more business! Paired with the sauce, it was more amazing. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant and peaceful, and the staffs were very friendly! I can't wait to come back and try other items. This place truly made my day!!

When you subbed a more expensive menu item with a cheaper menu item? For the price, you can get bread and hummus at other Persian restaurants. Rumi only gives you rice, a quarter of an onion and a tomato! The food is bland. They don't even give you sumac. I'm never getting food from here again. Terrible!
