Butter chicken and 37 Saag Paneer
    Justin J.

We came here on a random weekday and it was empty. Ambience was.. okay. Not very clean, which is fine. The food was decent. Butter chicken was a little too thick and the saag paneer was okay. Rice was made fresh. Garlic naan was and sambusa was amazing. Honestly id only come back for the sambusa haha. Not much to say. 3/5

First time here and it was very delicious! It was clean and food was delicious. Tea at the end made my tummy feel good. We will come back! Service so nice.

Tried out this new Indian restaurant in Chinatown -- it's been open for about three months, and it's definitely a cute, cozy spot with a good variety of options. They do offer halal, but only if you specifically request it, since they cook with both types of meat. So for anyone who eats halal, make sure to mention it while ordering! The owner, Ram, is incredibly welcoming and friendly, which adds a nice touch to the experience. Food-wise, it was decent overall, though the quantity could be better. The Chef's Mix Grill Sizzler was flavorful, and the samosa chaat was yum -- tangy, fresh, and honestly the best samosa chaat I've had in Vegas so far! We tried a variety of breads -- garlic naan, butter naan, and laccha paratha. The naans were soft as ever, and the laccha paratha was crispy and made with wheat, which I liked. For gravies, we got the chicken jalfrezi, which had a nice mild spice level, and the lamb curry, which was okay but nothing standout. Overall, it felt like a good one-time visit. We also got a complimentary dessert, which was a sweet way to end the meal.

Food is great but the chicken tikka masala can be better. It needs more flavor. More creamier and taste i guess, it's kind of bland. The rice with cashew and green peas excellent. The tandoori chicken is very good very tender. Chicken pakora is really good, crispy juicy and tender. They have vegetarian food too it's separated to non veggie food so it would be easy to know which is which. Not too many variation small area but very clean. They have music that sounds like hypnotic (LOL) it doesn't bother me it's just really different . The service is welcoming, they can really communicate real well They always explain my questions kindly and encouraging. Im still giving them 5 stars tho I just wish that paneer tikka masala would be in their regular buffet menu. Before i forget one thing i really like about their food, Not too spicy I could eat everything Good Job Swaad! Coming back soon.

Great new addition to the Vegas Indian food scene! We absolutely loved our meal and the entire experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a fun atmosphere with lights and Bollywood music. The dishes, chairs, even silverware and every detail of the decor is just lovely. The food was soooo tasty, and very light. You could definitely taste the quality. We have visited India many times and the dishes were very authentic. They have a huge menu with not only Indian but Nepali dishes. Vegetarian vs vegan is clearly labeled. The momos with tomato pickle sauce were a standout, not pictured because they were eaten so fast! The service was also excellent; Bibi was extremely friendly and kind. We even got complimentary chai and gulab jamun. A must visit!

I picked up a 'good to-go' buffet meal from Swaad on a late afternoon errand run. They were closing out their buffet items but staff were more than happy to accommodate me. The place is relatively new and has a quite funky decor compared to a typical Indian restaurant. The lay out projects more of a fast food style than a more traditional full service restaurant. Food on the other hand is not to be outdone. I got a chicken tikka masala, lentil soup, paneer tikka masala, tandoori chicken, a side salad with a piece of fruit, 2 naan breads, and gulab jamun for dessert. It's more than enough food for two people! Did not disappoint taste wise. Parking is not a problem as it's on a strip mall in Chinatown. Good spot for a lunch buffet.

    A variety of foods!

The Swaad Thali was good. They have other thalis in the menu but they did not have it. The chicken biriyani was meh. Again, biriyani is very tricky, it all depends on a person's taste and which part of India it's from. I did not enjoy it. Chicken momo was very good. The mango lassi was good, and the samosa chaat. The chicken tikka masala was a little tangy but still good. It was in a stop mall in China town which looked a little out of place. Service was good but slow as there was only one person doing everything in the restaurant floor. There was a buffet with limited options. Ambience was good, they gave a huge TV playing Bollywood dance videos.

Flavors on point!!!! This is food that wakes up the palate!!! Fresh. Delicious. Perfect seasonings. The customer service is a 10/10. So yummy. Oh, and don't forget the chai tea!

This place was amazing. The interior is so wonderfully fun, exactly what you'd want to see out of a vegas restaurant. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process, taking special note of my friends nut allergy. The lintal soup was way spicier than I expected but still good. And drinking from actual water bottles was nice. Very authentic experience.

This place is amazing! I got to try it thanks to a coworker who ordered food for the office and all my coworkers absolutely loved their food! My husband and I (both vegan) went to dine in person last night and it was even better fresh. We got the aloo tikki, vegetable coconut curry, chana saag, and garlic naan with no butter. Everything was delicious! Staff was knowledgeable about what items to avoid that contained dairy/eggs and were good about making sure to avoid putting butter on the naan. Definitely some of the best Indian food we've had in town. Can't wait to come back and try more!

This place is very gorgeous and the food is amazing. Great atmosphere. Very Instagram photo worthy. The dishes are fresh. The naan is fluffy. The staff is friendly. Will be back.'would be great for a date night.

If you like Indian food and buffets then you will love this spot. Very clean, amazing food (the Tidoori chicken and the Tikka Masala were fantastic). The bathroom was very nicely decorated. My 3 year old daughter called it The Queen's bathroom, lol. 10/10 will dine here again.

    Cute diner booths

I love this place! The interior design details from floor to ceiling feel cohesive. The dining room was clean, and thoughtful touches like embroidered seats and restaurant-branded dishes and silverware make the place feel very put-together. You can tell the owners take pride in it. Big screen LED walls show Bollywood music videos and keep the ambiance flowing. It's a vibe... Everyone I met, from the host to the servers to the cooks, were all super-friendly and accommodating. The first time I went was late in the evening, yet they were kind and did not make me feel rushed. The second time I went was for the lunch buffet, and they made sure I had everything I wanted, even if it wasn't set out at the moment, including fresh garlic naan made to order for my table (and other tables). Finally, the food: it's so fresh and delicious! They told me "Swaad" means "flavor", and I feel that name perfectly suits them, because everything I've tried so far was packed with flavor: The lentil soup was rich with buttery ghee; the saag paneer had refreshing layered flavors of greens and fenugreek. The goat curry was meaty and satisfying, with comforting notes of cardamom and other warming spices; their fresh naan came out hot and fluffy just like I like it. Even the gulab jamun, which can be a cloyingly sweet dessert, was surprisingly light; not too overpowering. The texture was soft and fresh, not rubbery. The server explained they make it from scratch instead of buying it pre-made. As far as spicy-hot levels, the lunch buffet food all had relatively mild/medium heat -it was just the right amount for me, though I'm sure they can prepare hotter dishes on request. The lunch buffet runs from 11 - 3 and was $19.99 for adults and $12.99 for kids, and I felt the dinner menu/al a carte prices were very reasonable as well. The lunch buffet is not huge like a casino, but it still offered a really solid variety of vegetarian and meat dishes, including popular dishes like tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala, plus rice and naan, raita, cold salad foods and desserts as well. They're open until 11:00 PM too, so if you're jet-lagged and looking for some nourishing late evening nosh, it's perfect. Don't sleep on this place-- I'm already planning my third visit. Go check 'em out! P.S. It's sort of hidden on the back side of Chinatown shopping center (technically "The Center at Spring Mountain" - where Golden Tiki is) but it is on Schiff Drive, on the back side, not the Spring Mountain side.

Ask the Community - Swaad Indian Cuisine

The lunch price of $19.99 is only weekdays? Or is that weekends too?

It is $19.99 for adults and $12.99 for children 7 days a week as of right now (April 2026). Though of course it could be subject to change in the future.

The variety here is unsurpassed and at times a challange. Tonight, we venture to Rutba Indian Kitchen. The crowd was very light and the staff is sittings against the wall on their cell phones. A real low energy spot. The menu has all the Indian usual suspects. We started with the onion kulcha naan. The bread was airy, buttery and flavorful. One of our entrees was the chicken saag with spinach and a hint of cream. It has flavor and decent but rather standard. The lamb vindaloo had a spicey sauce and potatoes. Again, just an average dish. The wait staff here was muddled, very faint to hear and understand. There was no enthusiasm or smiling throughout the evening. Our food was fair and nothing to write home about. There are several options with Indian cuisine in Vegas and Rutba Indian Kitchen does not rise to the top. With low energy and average food, it is safe to remove it off of our Vegas food list.

We ordered the paneer tikka and chicken mandi from their extensive Mandi House menu. The paneer tikka was flavorful and well-prepared. The chicken mandi, however, was just okay - not bad, but didn't particularly stand out. The portions were absolutely massive - honestly too much to finish in one sitting. Unfortunately, since the food wasn't amazing enough to get excited about leftovers, we ended up leaving quite a bit behind, which felt wasteful.[Attachment] That said, I'm giving this place 4 stars primarily because finding quality halal food in Las Vegas can be challenging, and Hashtag India fills that need nicely. The restaurant is halal-certified (as shown by the halal certification seal on their menu), which is a huge plus for those looking for halal dining options on the Strip. The menu offers a wide variety of mandi options including vegetarian and meat choices, with different portion sizes available. The space is family-friendly and the service was decent. Bottom line: While the food might not blow you away, it's a reliable spot for halal Indian food in Vegas. The generous portions are great if you're very hungry or sharing, but be prepared for leftovers you might not want to save.
