Great food and clean facility! I've came here several times with friends and always had a good time. The orders come out pretty fast and it is open quite late as well. There is a self serve sauce bar and it's in a very convenient location.

Stopped in because we were nearby at a Yelp Elite event and we were hungry. It was late afternoon on a Sunday and we were the only diners. We were greeted promptly and friendly as we walked in and were provided a small pitcher of water and some edamame as we sat down. We looked over the menu and decided to stick with the skewer offerings and added the smashed cucumber salad as an appetizer. The salad was delicious, but we really have not ever had a cucumber salad we didn't like. We're just cucumber folks. For the skewers we selected lamb, beef, beef tendon, shrimp, pork belly, bacon wrapped mushrooms, scallops, a choy, Chinese buns, and as a last minute edition, lamb kidney. We try to order something we've never had before when the opportunity presents itself and in this case the beef tendon and lamb kidney were our "new" selections. Over all the smashed cucumber salad was the best part of our meal. All the meat skewers were over cooked and the Chinese buns really didn't have any flavor (but they were a nice texture). I ended up dipping them in the dressing of the cucumber salad. The a choy and bacon wrapped mushrooms were are next favorites. The pricing was less expensive than other Asian skewer restaurants we've been to, but we wish the meats had been prepared better. When taking photos, we started out good, but forgot to keep taking snapshots as the skewers kept coming out. I guess our hunger took over.

Tastes great as usual! I like the crispy chicken skin, fried bun, hibachi squid, enoki mushroom and bacon, hibachi cabbage, hibachi potato, and the oil noodles.

Been here a few times after midnight. Today went for actual dinner ! Food is always good. I like the lamb screwer a lot . The sauces and powdered seasonings elevate the flavors of the meats !! Fast and prompt serve anytime of day !!

The food here was honestly so good. I thought the price for the food was honestly not bad. What's crazy is that I didn't even know there was a sauce bar until after finishing most of our skewers but it was so good without it that I definitely have to some again for the sauce. I do have to say the chicken here was SUPER tender. The chicken in the noodle soups just melted in my mouth. I got the Spicy and the Regular but the spicy one was so good. Even the noodles were fire! The only thing we didn't really like were the Chinese buns because although it had that chargrilled taste, there was also a burnt taste that was super prominent. The buns were bad but they weren't as good as we thought they would be. The service was good and honestly the skewered came out pretty fast! I thought the whole restaurant was super lively and it's definitely a great late night spot after or for drinks. Our table didn't get any but the beer towers were HUGE and for the price I think they are well worth it. Come check this place out because it's one of the only spots open till late in the area!

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday and it was basically empty. I really enjoyed just about everything! I got the lamb, beef, chicken, pork belly, mushroom, and Chinese bun skewers. Everything is seasoned with the same dry rub that is very cumin heavy (which I usually associate with Hispanic food rather than Chinese so it was a surprising flavor but good!) I definitely recommend exploring the sauce bar they have to dip everything in. The highlight for me was the Soy Bean Paste noodles which were actually recommended by my server. They were insanely good with some ground beef and veggies. The bowl is either a giant meal for one person or good to share with the table. The lowlight was the beef noodle soup. The broth was not super flavorful and it was more noodle than meat or mushroom. The place is nice inside! And our server was great I appreciated his help navigating the menu and all the food came out very quickly. It was also extremely reasonable for the price. If you want to see them hand pull the noodles you can sort of watch from ur seat looking at the kitchen but they don't do it at your table (maybe unless you ask).

We went to Fat Ni on a weekend evening. I ordered lamb, pork belly and chicken skewers. The food was mediocre as the meat needed to be more tenderized. It was chewy and hard at one point, especially the chicken. However the vegetables skewers turned out to be pretty good. The chives and mushroom skews are flavorful with their special house seasoning. The noodles was ok. The chili oil from sauce bar helps me with seasoning this dish. Service was meh as expected.

chill chinese style skewer spot ! you order per stick, and there's free cold edamame at the beginning of your meal every skewer kinda tasted similar with the five spice seasoning, and i wish they would adapt each skewer to its own unique flavor profile for the most part the season worked well!! my favorite was the squid! so chewy and addicting. i also tried the chicken gizzards, beef, and pork belly, ranked in that order! my friend had their chinese sausage and toasted buns which were both GREAT! a little expensive but enjoyable for a light meal

Solid Chinese BBQ chain with plenty of meat and veggie kebabs. Tenderness varied a little bit on the meat kebabs but they all had a nice spicy cumin flavor. Our favs were the Lamb, Pork Belly, and Eggplant. Def great for a late-night setting!

I couldn't stop thinking about the lamb skewers so I had to come back! They were fantastic!! The shrimp skewers were good as well but it was hard to peel the shells off. Service is always quick and exceptional! On a Saturday evening it's as busy as the parking lot but the quality of the food was still the same which was FANTASTIC!! Can't wait to go back!

To start off, the food is a 5/5 for me. My sister would argue otherwise but I really like this place. The issue is with the service. There is one older lady who works there who is extremely rude. My mom and I went to eat here after a long flight back from Chicago, and when we got seated we had to wait so long for a waiter to come over to us. Not once do they check on you, they just set your food down and cross out the order on the sheet. We had to go up to pay since no one would come over when we raised our hands for the check. Also for to go boxes, just grab it yourself because they take forever.

This is a picture of the lady who served us horrible nasty disgusting attitude zero out of 10. I do not recommend this place.

Food wasn't fresh, it seems they gave us leftover meat that didn't taste like beef. Don't recommend much but might just be my experience.

As we were waiting, we noticed that 4-5 tables were done eating and paid their bills. All got up and left, the staff quickly cleaned the tables. The cleaned tables were empty for another 15 minutes. The lady that took our names down took a while to call the next customers. Seems like we were waiting just to wait...she sat one party down and waited another 10 minute to sit the next group... anyways, after we waited for a good 40 minutes, we were finally called to be seated. Sat down and was immediately served with water and took our order down. Time for the food review: Chicken popcorn - nice crisp and texture, but lacking flavor. Felt like it needed a dipping sauce. Pork lard rice - disappointing, bland Pork intestine with green mustard - this dish was okay.. Crispy garlic salted fish - fish was nicely fried and flavor was good. Probably the best dish so far Crispy pork chop - this is the reason why we came here.. we wanted to find a dish like May Ice cream. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The pork chop was extremely salted. From the skin to the pork itself. Walnut shrimp - this dish was foul. Who puts sprinkles on the side?! Tasted like I was eating an ice cream shop. The shrimp was also dry. Overall, not worth going and waiting. Food was lacking.

Came during the soft opening in September 2025 with excited expectations based on what we've heard, hoping to find a new go to Taiwanese spot. Unfortunately we didn't find what we were looking for. I admit this was the soft opening and things may improve, and for their sake I hope they do. Biggest issues for us were lack of flavor in the meat and multiple proteins being overcooked. The sauces they used had the flavor but it seems like the meat just wasn't given the time to marinate because the meat itself was bland. That coupled with proteins being a bit dry from being overcooked and you don't have a good combo. If they can tweak their prep process to let the meat marinate then it would solve most of the problems though. The best dish was the fried pork chop rice by far. A bit on the sweeter side so it just depends on how you like it. The bok choy it came with was basically raw though had more crunch than the pork chop. Service was also a mixed bag. The server was super nice and helped give us recs but it just seemed like they were still getting the hang of working in a restaurant. A glass of water got some food in it so the server took it away but they never brought us a new one. Again, soft opening so I give that some grace, but food has to be more on point for a new restaurant to make it. So all in all, there are definitely some kinks to work through for them. Normally I wouldn't write a review for soft opening but given that there are old reviews here plus food quality missed the mark more than I think it should've, I think people on Yelp should get a heads up.

We were greeted right away and the restaurant is welcoming with an assortment of booths and some large round tables. The server was friendly and she provided great service throughout our meal. We had the Beef Chow Fun which tasted great and was less oily than versions we have had elsewhere. We also had the combination crispy noodles which were well prepared with tender beef and some great shrimp. We capped it off with the General Tso which was delicious. But the reviews were suspiciously glowing, so curiosity (and hunger) won. We pulled up and I took one look at the building: older, unremarkable, zero curb appeal. Classic "meh." Inside, several large round tables with lazy Susans, red tablecloths, and Chinese lanterns. They first sat us in a booth but I requested later on to be moved to a large round table since we ordered A LOT. But back to when we first sat in the booth - As a Chinese woman, the second I spotted the older seats with ripped upholstery, it hit me like a culinary prophecy: this place was going to serve me some incredible, authentic Chinese food. I don't know what it is, but there's an inverse law of Chinese restaurants: the less fancy the exterior (and the more the booth looks like it's survived several natural disasters), the better the food. Apparently they skip Instagram-worthy renovations and put the budget where it belongs--on the plate! This is now hands down in my top 3 favorite Chinese restaurant in North Dallas - I can even say it's on the very top. I haven't forgotten about the staff. They deserve 10 stars. Super nice!
