    Seated for lunch dim sum
    Chetan S.

We had a great experience at lunch here! Came in just before noon and we were among the first to be seated. Hongxi was our server and she was the most courteous and friendly person we have met I a while. From her we understood the cuisine here was more Shanghainese style . All the dishes we ordered were prepared fresh and dim sum were served was fresh and prepared very well! The new dis we tried was the Shredded Radish Crisp which was fried and served piping hot! We both loved it ! The main dishes too the Beef flat rice noodle and the fish in spicy soup both were very good. Ambience is typical of Chinese eatery and there was crowd for lunch on a Wed afternoon We will return along with our friends soon!

Here is a great place to get your Xiaolong Bao fix! And it's even better when you enjoy lunch here on Tuesdays! Staff is friendly and the setting very casual. Saw many professionals come here to enjoy lunch. The soup dumplings were so delicious, it is such a great comfort dish! And the pan fried dumplings were so filling that between 2 people, it was a challenge to have more than 2!

Loved the food so much that I'm thinking about all the dishes I'll be getting next time My favorites were the braised pork belly, brown sugar mochi, beef with chili oil sauce, and xiaolongbao

I did Uber Eats and ordered from here. I was craving some braised pork belly and saw they had pig trotters too. I haven't had any since I was a kid and my dad made them. So I just had to try! I definitely wasn't disappointed. Both the braised pork belly and trotters were definitely cooked right. Very tender and just the way I like it. Both had a soy ginger taste to them which was very good. I also got chicken egg rolls and they were pretty good as well. The fried rice was okay I've had better. But I'm glad that if I'm having a craving for trotters I definitely know where to go!

Service in the beginning wasn't the best, but they definitely noticed and more than made up for it near the end of our meal. I came here with my parents, and they've come many times before so I'm always eager to see what new Chinese restaurants they go to because they're so picky about the taste and authenticity of Chinese food. This place is really delicious. Literally everything we got was so flavorful and authentic, and I think this may be one of my new favorite Chinese restaurants. They also offer BOGO soup dumplings on Tuesday, and I noticed that many people came in to take advantage of this deal. They make all of their puns and dumplings in house, and you can even see from your seat two women who are kneading the dough by hand!

On April 25, good friends held their "rehearsal" dinner at China Queen for romantic reasons because that is where he proposed and where she was first encouraged to get on a dating app by the people who worked there and that's how they met! They had 3 adjoining rooms for us with big tables. There may have been around 30 people total. They brought out many different types of foods from soup dumplings, to crispy duck, to mapo tofu with crawfish! The crispy duck and crawfish dishes were my favorite! I've never had crawfish in a Chinese dish before and it was kind of like a Chinese gumbo! I learned later that the type of Chinese food they serve here is not spicy. I like spicy, but many of these dishes I found to be very flavorful. The service was a bit slow as I don't think they were fully prepared for such a large crowd with their regular guests also in the main eating area so we had to wait a bit long between dishes. The women's bathroom had a leaking toilet which I informed one of the staff people about so hopefully they fixed it as it would be dangerous if someone had slipped in there. I look forward to coming back again when I'm in the area when they aren't so busy and try more things! And I'll see if they have any chili sauce. :-)

My second visit here but didnt realize it until I walked into the dining room. It was so-so years ago when I visited and it was too late to find something else so I stayed. I def ordered wrong! This place is known for its dumplings, which was plain to see by what other patrons were eating. What would posses me to order veggie dumplings, I don't know. I've never had a spinach filling I didn't like. These were not very good at all. They were filled with a bland spinach mixture and flavorless. I also ordered the Singapore noodles w/shrimp & chicken, forgetting to have the curry omitted. I don't like curry in Singapore noodles. This too was so-so.

Great spot for dumplings! Husband and I were craving dumplings so we decided to try China Queen. We were not disappointed! Crab & Cheese Rangoon: tasty little appetizer. Pork Xiao Long Baos: flavorful and juicy. Shrimp Dumplings: these were decent. Pork Chives Dumplings: my favorite of them all - classic & full of flavor! Egg Drop Soup: standard egg drop soup, good texture and saltiness. Combination Fried Rice: the most lackluster dish we ordered here. We'll probably go without this one next time. Overall decent experience. Would come back again.

Alphabet Date C. I felt like dim sum and we were in the area so I looked for a spot that started with a C and here we are. It's a lovely restaurant. The ambiance was really nice, clean and quiet. We were greeted and seated really quickly at around 11:30am on a Saturday. Our server immediately gave us water and edamame. He was quick and came by often to fill our water. We ordered hot tea, pork XLB, salt & pepper squid, hot and sour soup, and sweet and sour spare ribs. The winner was the pork XLB. The salt & pepper squid was tough. I wouldn't order that again. I also really liked the hot and sour soup, but how do you really mess that up? The sweet and sour spare ribs were also pretty good. I think I'd try other things if we ever go here again, but I'm glad we got to try it. It was a solid last minute alphabet date.

We visited on a Tuesday for their buy one get one free soup dumplings special. The dumplings came out quickly. The dumpling skin was delicate and held the soup well. I liked them a lot. We ordered the orange chicken, sizzling beef, and Chinese vegetable. The food portions were large and tasty. The restaurant was cozy, clean, and quiet. They was a steady stream of customers coming in for takeout orders too. The service was friendly and attentive. They brought us a small dish of edamame while we waited. We will come back again and also try their linch specials.

    Do you have beer/wine yet?

    Why would I have that.

Does dim sum come on a cart? Or is it order only?

There is no cart, just by order only.

What are the soup dumplings made of? Usually the soup is held together by a gelatin so it's easier to place into the dumpling.

Did you ask and answer? Formulate an actual question, wait, and try again.

    Is this place BYOB?

It is but they dont usually have stemware so bring what you need. Service is fabulous!

    Do you take reservations?

I believe they do bc I was there the other day and a group came in saying they had reservations

As we were waiting, we noticed that 4-5 tables were done eating and paid their bills. All got up and left, the staff quickly cleaned the tables. The cleaned tables were empty for another 15 minutes. The lady that took our names down took a while to call the next customers. Seems like we were waiting just to wait...she sat one party down and waited another 10 minute to sit the next group... anyways, after we waited for a good 40 minutes, we were finally called to be seated. Sat down and was immediately served with water and took our order down. Time for the food review: Chicken popcorn - nice crisp and texture, but lacking flavor. Felt like it needed a dipping sauce. Pork lard rice - disappointing, bland Pork intestine with green mustard - this dish was okay.. Crispy garlic salted fish - fish was nicely fried and flavor was good. Probably the best dish so far Crispy pork chop - this is the reason why we came here.. we wanted to find a dish like May Ice cream. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. The pork chop was extremely salted. From the skin to the pork itself. Walnut shrimp - this dish was foul. Who puts sprinkles on the side?! Tasted like I was eating an ice cream shop. The shrimp was also dry. Overall, not worth going and waiting. Food was lacking.

Came during the soft opening in September 2025 with excited expectations based on what we've heard, hoping to find a new go to Taiwanese spot. Unfortunately we didn't find what we were looking for. I admit this was the soft opening and things may improve, and for their sake I hope they do. Biggest issues for us were lack of flavor in the meat and multiple proteins being overcooked. The sauces they used had the flavor but it seems like the meat just wasn't given the time to marinate because the meat itself was bland. That coupled with proteins being a bit dry from being overcooked and you don't have a good combo. If they can tweak their prep process to let the meat marinate then it would solve most of the problems though. The best dish was the fried pork chop rice by far. A bit on the sweeter side so it just depends on how you like it. The bok choy it came with was basically raw though had more crunch than the pork chop. Service was also a mixed bag. The server was super nice and helped give us recs but it just seemed like they were still getting the hang of working in a restaurant. A glass of water got some food in it so the server took it away but they never brought us a new one. Again, soft opening so I give that some grace, but food has to be more on point for a new restaurant to make it. So all in all, there are definitely some kinks to work through for them. Normally I wouldn't write a review for soft opening but given that there are old reviews here plus food quality missed the mark more than I think it should've, I think people on Yelp should get a heads up.

The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal.
