Chef Elle continues to grace NE Texas with her Le Cordon Bleu Paris trained culinary gifts and warm hearted charm. This is her latest venture in Emory Texas. We enjoyed a simple and elegant meal on a Thursday evening when crowds were lighter which also afforded us the benefit of welcomed conversations with Chef Elle. She suggested an excellent wine pairing with our dinner which included French Onion soup, a crisp house salad, and Ribeye steaks cooked to perfection and accompanied with Yukon Gold potatoes and Asparagus. We finished our meal with a pistachio ice cream "Grasshopper". We love this place and will be back again and again.

A delightful surprise finding this cute French Bistro in Emory. Every visit has been a wonderful experience eating delicious steaks, steak/shrimp combo and salmon. The combination of texture, flavor, aroma and presentation have made each dish a culinary masterpiece. A must have is Chef Elle's tomato basil soup. Also allow room for her crème brûlée. Chef Elle (owner) is so gracious and welcoming.

What an enchanting Bistro. Located right beside the post office in Emory so not right on Highway 69. Definitely worth stopping by. We had the tomato basil soup for starters and the flavor was amazing. And ... you can order this soup "to-go" so it'd be perfect for any party. A sandwich and a frittata graced our table next. Once again, the flavors were spot on. If you are from Emory and haven't visited this Bistro, shame on you! There is no need to drive into a big city to find these flavors; support your local Bistro. We interrupted them decorating for Christmas but once that is completed the ambience should be very quaint. They have a Chateau Bistro Club you can sign up for and they will keep you apprised of wine-tasting events, specials, etc. We didn't have time for dessert...but we shall be back! We have to try the dessert!!

Everyone was friendly and explained how service works there (later we saw the sign on the wall with the same guidance). Anyway, you check in for your table, and then you order at the counter-wine and/or food. We ordered the garlic knots, a side cous cous salad (but I don't think that's what we got- didn't matter because it was still good), the chicken cheesesteak, pepperoni flatbread and seasoned fries, along with a tasting. We asked for the food to be spaced out a little so we didn't have everything all at once at our very small table. The food was really good. The salad and garlic knots were super filling so we only nibbled on the other items and ended up boxing them up. I will say the flavors of the chicken cheesesteak were delicious, and I was disappointed to find it will be removed from the menu. The tasting consists of 5 wine choices and costs $18 per person. It's a 1.25 ounce pour and gives a good sampling of the wine. I really enjoyed 3 out of the 5 and same for the man. He had more whites, while I had all reds (and of course we shared. We didn't buy any bottles but might next time. Anyway we say several dates, a couple groups of ladies having a night out, families and one birthday party. As I stated earlier, we will go back and I definitely recommend. We spent about $113 pre tip.

They even have great mocktail options, which I love when you want the experience without the alcohol. The most unique one that I've tried is the Pho Ya - it's Pho inspired and actually delicious. Cocktails and the menu are seasonal so you always get surprises. My favorite food options are the Salmon Poke, Beef & Rice Bowl, and the mussels. What really sets this place apart is the people- starting with the owners. The servers actually remember you, the owners are intentional about creating a unique, welcoming space, and you can tell they genuinely care about the community and giving back. The whole team feels connected--you can see they truly enjoy working together. And the vibe? Cozy in the best way. The patio feels like you're hanging out at home, just with better drinks and food. It's the kind of place you keep coming back to--and recommending to everyone.

The service for me is that of a Michelin star as well as the flavor profiles they can pack into their food. This will always be a must-visit, and the el jefe cubano is spot on!
