I had a horrible experience with the manger of Chatham Parkway Subaru. Jared Pratt is an amazingly brilliant manipulator.Though he stinks like a pack of cigarettes, has chew in his mouth while he is talking to you, and has the focus of a gnat. I went into the with a positive outlook. We have purchased from Subaru and had two really good experiences. They offered me $4,000 less than Blue Book trade in for my car and then took money off for an accident (I do understand that part). Ultimate offer was 17,888.00. They barely brought down the price on the 2013 Outback and this is after they told me it was a better deal, more workable, then the 2014. I told them from the start that I would be using a POA, my husband called them from Afghanistan, and they communicated via my husband's military e-mai. They let me sign the temporary paper work, but refused to let me sign the primary set of paper work. I had a very specific POA and it was from the day of the sale. My husband sent the POA the same day we agreed to buy the car via his e-mail address. They insisted on sending the paper work to my husband in Afghanistan. They let me take the car home on Thursday. Friday morning they told my husband they were going to have to come get the car until he signed the paper work. I asked them why because they had the POA. and it was legally binding. They then told me it was because of the finance company. I told them we were going to go through PENFED and Jared Pratt said that it still didn't matter. Lie much?? They came and got the car Monday night. When I got my car back I noticed they were selling my old car for $22,000, which was 2,000 more then they offered me before they took the accident off. They took $3,900 of for the accident when my insurance said the most the should have taken off was $2,500. Overall, Jared Pratt is a slimy dude that cares more about money then the person he is dealing with. Looking back on the experience, the dude told more lies than he did truths. Avoid this place, drive to Hilton Head Subaru if you want a Subaru. We are going to go there when my husband gets back. read more

My husband and I just recently bought a new Subaru. We have never owned this brand of vehicle but have had an interest in buying one for quite some time. Two years ago we stopped by this dealership to window shop after hours, but to our surprise they were still open so we walked in. A sales man greeted us and even took the time to show us the features of the car we were interested in, even though it as about two hours after closing time. We didn't purchase at that time but over two years later we were in the market for a new car and stopped by again as the dealership was closing. This same salesman greeted us and took up more time with us even though it was time to close he offer to let us take test drive. So we took him up on it! We were also looking at another brand of vehicle and over the course of the next week he worked with us to show us the comparison of features but at the same time allowed us time to sort through our options. We finally decided to go through with the purchase of a Subaru. He listened to what we wanted and found us the car we wanted. We price shopped him as much as we could but he managed to match the price we needed to be at to make the purchase. My husband even said he would pay an extra $500 to purchase from this salesman because he had worked so hard to earn our business. If you are in the market for a Subaru ask for MIKE!! read more

Just bought my 2015 WRX from here and had a great experience. Facility is nice and all staff were friendly and ready to help. Recommend working with Marquis Byrd, their internet sales manager. Marquis is professional, courteous, and ready to make a fair deal to win business. Mark Pandos, their finance manager, is also great. He and Marquis stayed late to finish my purchase. They will offer service plans and extras, like all dealerships do, so read each plan and decide if you want it. If you don't have much experience negotiating, take someone to help. All dealerships are similar in the purchase process - I found Chatham Subaru to be efficient and easy to work with. From Test drive to possession of new vehicle was 2 hours. I knew what I wanted and the deal I wanted. Marquis made it happen. As with any and every dealership, they are there to produce a proffit. Be assertive and reasonable and you'll find the sales team ready to help. Will update in 6 mo based on their maintenance service. read more

This was for my 12,000 mile service. My Outback is still the best car I have ever had, and at age 72 I have owned just about every brand. The Dealer has been easy to work with, from buying to servicing. For this service I was at the Dealer less than an hour, everyone very professional and exhibited wonderful attitudes. Also bought another Outback with my daughter since I purchased mine and she loves hers as much as we do ours. Would highly recommend. read more

I think the Chatham Subaru website must be hacked. Every time I try and go through the link it takes me to some weird Go daddy website and it never used to do this. My two year old Outback was ready for a 12000 mile service. I just drove up, walked into the waiting room, and almost before I could sit down, my car was ready.
