Definitely would order again Mac & Cheese 2/10: The seasoning on the Mac wasn't really good or there, it tasted almost watered down if I could put it into words? but the noodles were pretty good nevertheless. Sheesh, scary stuff and that was it for da ohana. My work team, on the other hand, still likes to go. Love the fries, that spice they use is kickin' and the sando is mouth watering. My big complaint is consistency. Order the medium every time and getting the right heat experience is almost like going fishing. Sometimes it's mild and chill, other times it's a scorcher, and once in a while, you smile and feel they got it right. For me that is key, I need to know what I am getting and they get it right maybe 30 percent of the time. For baseball, that is a decent ERA, but for food, nah that's not right. And then, every now and then, someone else gets there first and picks up our order. Not real big on the apologies or making sure peeps picking up the right bags. Cool lookin' truck, good food, when they get it right, and when our order is actually there for pick up, but miss the mark a bit too often.

Turns out the sauce was just enough to glisten and glaze the wings which were already coated with the spicey sticky goodness. It would not be an exaggeration to say it was bursting with bold flavours from the spices, all while avoiding the raw hotness that is so characteristically chicken wings (albeit of the buffalo persuasion). The mom and uncle of the owner showed up early to set up and start cooking. They were professional, kind, and very friendly. I was stoked that they cooked everything fresh on site and didn't just have food in warmers. We got to choose among proteins and veggies, and the salsa bar was awesome. Kids and adults alike really enjoyed the churros too! They boxed up all leftovers after the event, so we ate tacos for leftovers and froze a bunch too for later. The only thing one of my friends said was that paying extra for salad wasn't worth it because the salad was just from a bag. Everything was delicious, and I ate too much!
