Oh. My. Gosh. So I work with a crew of Argentinians and they would have been so mad at me if I hadn't stopped in here to try the Argentinian empanadas. Omg omg omg omg OMGOSH. There's a reason this place was featured in the Boston globe. I got basically a chicken pot pie empanada and wanted to cry it was so warm, and yummy, and flavorful. If I wasn't in public I'd have licked the plate. I'm not even kidding. Wonderful.

Quick in and out at this location. Parking can be difficult if it's busy around the area. Empanadas are crispy and moist. They're tasty. We orders a variety of twelve from spicy chorizo, creamy chicken, beef, chicken, and spicy chicken. I'd have to say I think my favorite is the spicy chorizo--packed with the most flavor over all. They do have a few tables in this location and offer outdoor seating during the warmer days.

Authentic empanadas. We sampled a few and they reminded us of Buenos Aires. The beef empanada had minced whole eggs, just like Argentina. The sauces were a great complement. The lady was very helpful with our selections. Quick grab and go place or a quick snack. Would be back if in the area.

This empanadas are so delicious the beef is so good and tender, so well seasoned. I also tried the lemon meringue pie just perfection.

The place is a bit small but nice. It has nice decorations. The empanadas are pretty good and they have different kinds. They are a bit pricey though. My favorite is The Messi which is bacon, ground beef and cheese. They also have vegetarian options available. The service is good. The staff are nice. There's usually one or two people working up front depending on how busy it is.

Love the concept and variety of empanadas, especially the vegetarian and vegan options because they had more than I imagined. Very friendly staff and cozy environment. Definitely stop by!

This place is very cute. If it wasn't raining, the outside area would have been a lovely place to sit and enjoy our empanadas and the afternoon. The indoor tables are tiny, but they served our empanadas on a lazy Susan that made it easy for the three of us to maneuver the tiny table. Empanadas are $3.50 each or $6 for $20. The meat filled empanadas are large, but the vegetarian and vegan empanadas are tiny and they cost the same amount which is kind of a rip off, but that's part of the price you pay to be vegan or vegetarian, which makes no sense at all. The meat empanadas are football shaped in a beautiful fresh pastry with a roping at the seam in a variety of flavors including beef, chicken and pork. The vegetarian and vegan empanadas are like mini quiches made in a puff pastry dough. The vegetarian ones are very cheese forward. The caprese is like pizza in a cup shape. I enjoyed the spinach one the best. My table mate really liked the corn one. Che Empanada is in the area around the new stadium and it's really turned into a lovely place with lots of good options. Che Empanada does a brisk take out business. Before we come back here we'll most likely try one of the other choices in the area.

There was a ROACH in my empanada!!! I tried reaching out to management to let them know and correct the issue but since they didn't respond I'll leave a review here. Even aside from that, the empanadas are not traditional Argentine empanada pastry, and the chimichurri is NOT chimichurri. The fillings are fine, so long as there are no bugs in yours.

There were 2 other couples when we got there. I ordered the Red Sangria that was 1/2 wine 1/2 orange juice. Not to my liking. Exchanged for a glass of moscato. He had the spicy margarita served in a short glass. which he said was ok. The wine was a little flat. Drinks were $15 each. Dinner i got the seafood special that said shrimp, scallops, lobster tail, and mussels over linguine with a pink sauce. He got the cannelloni one beef and one spinach. My entree had no price listed on the specials menu. I have never let price deter me snd I Was shocked to see it was $60. We eat out a lot but that was in no way a $60 dish. The portions were small. Seafood quality was mediocre. And the lobster tails were rock lobster. Which is a coarser meat and not as flavorful as Maine lobster. Which was misleading on the description. Overall one and done for us. In my opinion its too expensive for what they are serving.

My fourth Dine Out Boston 2026 Winter visit: Alma Gaucha, the Brazilian rodizio, with colleagues…read more The meat was delicious, the salad station was plentiful, and we ate until we were stuffed... Meat Serving: My favorites were all kinds of beef! The Premium of Top Sirloin and Top Sirloin with Garlic were extremely juicy and tender, as you can see. I recommended medium rare, and don't cook it more than medium. Tri-Tip Steak and Tri-Tip Steak with Cheese were relatively coarse, but had a layer of fat that made them more flavorful. I recommended medium; medium-well would be too dry. Lamb Steak was juicy and flavorful, with no gamey taste, so eat with confidence. Chicken Wrapped with Bacon and Chicken Legs were garlic-flavored, but the meat was a bit tough. Cheese with Honey was a calorie bomb but really delicious; the cheese had a slightly gamey taste, and the more honey, the better. Most importantly, the grilled meats here are just the right amount of salty; only the Chicken Heart and Pork Sausage were very salty. There were various sauces to choose from, but I personally recommend the oily and slightly sour Chimichurri, or simply salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Salad Station: Foods were plentiful and all very fresh and of good quality. My favorite was the Apple Salad, which was like the old-fashioned "fruit and salad dressing" version from my childhood--it was nostalgic and had a wonderfully refreshing sweet and sour taste. The Smoked Trout was tender and had a wonderfully flavorful fat, but considering it from freshwater , I only had a small taste. The Clam Chowder had a rich creaminess that perfectly complemented the umami of the clams. The Bruschetta, with its creamy sweetness from roasted garlic paired with the crispy bread, was a delightful little treat. Side Dishes: My personal favorite was the Mashed Potatoes, fried potato balls with a crispy, airy exterior and a creamy filling. The Yucca Croquette was like a tapioca version of Pão de Queijo, with the same crispy crust and mochi-like texture, but a milder cheese flavor. The Caramelized Bananas were too soft and mushy; cooked bananas always have a rotten taste. The Crispy Polenta was very hard, mainly cornstarch, and had little flavor. Desserts: The waiter's recommendation, the Red Velvet Cake, was definitely on point. It was less sweet and had a gentler sweetness, more suitable for Chinese tastes. If you like it sweeter, get more of the part with white chocolate sauce. The Mango Cake had a very smooth mousse and a rich mango flavor. The Keylime Pie was too sweet and sour, too strong a flavor.

It has been consistent for the most part in terms of their food selection, but this time they did not offer Fraldinha or Alcatra anymore on their Dine Out Boston menu. Their cold/hot food bar is better than Fogo's selection by far. It seemed there were more limited meats that came by especially since we were seated close to the entrance of the restaurant despite my card being green the whole time. I would expect everything on the limited menu to show up at least once and the wait time for specific cuts of meat took way too long even with requesting a cut from the staff. Somehow the cheese with honey never shows up either. I went during weekday lunch and the restaurant was semi-busy in the front half of the place up until the end of my visit in which there were only a few tables left and I still didn't get any additional Picanha. They came around with the cheaper alternatives more often. The meats I was served were seasoned well, but the variation in temperature for cuts I got were somewhat off putting despite requesting medium rare each time. There were some perfect temps to start off, but half the time they cut me thin slices of well done meat. That was my table's experience this time around unfortunately. I'd come back again since I've had many better experiences here over the years and I hope this was a fluke and not the fact that it has gone downhill.

Ultimately I went for the chicken classico and chicken and mushroom. Both of these were flavorful with a golden brown flakey crust that was still nice and soft on inside. The chicken was tender and flavorful adding a slight kick of heat without being overpowering. The chicken and mushroom had an added layer of sauce that helped tie the flavors together and the mushrooms were perfectly tender. Adding to it was a chimichuri sauce that tasted fresh and came in spicy or regular. Ultimately what I liked about these empanadas was that they felt fresh and not frozen like many other places. Despite being only one person, the server was quick with taking orders, working the register, and serving the empanadas. While there isn't much seating inside, I came here with a large group and was able to finding seating. I can see it getting crowded as there were always people coming in.
