Food is very good, But the service takes forever. I was at the drive thru on this trip for so long,it was unreal. Other times,I've stood in line & again,it took forever !! But,their chicken sandwiches are real chicken. What a difference from BK & McD's. And I actually thought their chick sandwiches were good! Boy,was I wrong. Checkers chicken deluxe is DELICIOUS !!! The value menu is very much worth the money.

This is clearly a chain. But not one I'm familiar with. I didn't even know this was coming but as I went by on way to Home Depot I saw sign that said grand opening. So of course I stopped. It's a hamburger place, drive-thru, takeout or eat outside at some tables they have. No inside seating. Currently running a special of $1 cheeseburger so I went with that. I'm not a burger expert so I brought this to someone who is. It was appreciated but I was told not the best burger in Buffalo. Ok. Fair enough. It's a chain. I also picked up some fries. These are flavored somehow. Some spice mix I think. I liked them. I'd eat them again happily. Menu shows some shakes and chicken nuggets and things like that. Reminded me of the menu at BK I recently perused. Like I said, fast food and a chain.

Checkers 1. Parking easy 2. Customer service is good 3. Burgers are much better than McDonald's or Burger King 4. But a big oooopppppssss 5. I was there at 12:30 pm and I have a bad experience like 2 or 3 guys asking for money around checkers 6. They need to improve on customer satisfaction

$0.69 cheeseburgers every Sunday first time visiting here the wait seem to be a little longer than it should have been. However $0.69 cheeseburgers can I say about that? $0.69 what is the right price however not much to them couple bites is all lacked that flame-broiled Taste that Burger King has and the dense texture McDonald's has that somehow was just delicious and classic not bad

Awful experience, and we'll never return.

Positively abysmal. Awful in every way. The place is dirty and gross. Staff is rude and untrained, food is inedible. I was surprised the place was empty. Now I know why. They need to clean up their act ASAP or they'll be the latest shuttered business in this strip of Elmwood. It's a shame, as the region is yearning for some higher end fast food. This is not it.

This is unacceptable & an Health violation. Please be aware and make sure all food are cooked before serving.

I am going to agree with Maria B and giving this place only a 3 star. My co-worker told me that checkers just opened and we both went during lunch. I ordered their bacon burger without a bun, they made it a lettuce wrap. The manager just confirmed exactly what I wanted. I also ordered a funnel cake and some fries since my friend was hyping up their fries. We get back to work and the burger was pretty good, I would get it again most definitely, but the fries was missing a lot of seasoning. it LOOKs like it has it but when eating it, i didn't have any. the funnel cake was horrible. It was like hard on the outside and tasted ok in the middle, not sure how the hell it was so hard on the outside. Other then that, I will most definitely go back since they are a late night eats! Next time i return, I'll try other stuff like the shakes etc.

Great fast food! Fast moving drive thru, and probably the best fast food burger around in Buffalo.

The Works - Elk burger with poutine and getting piggy with it

Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.

Very nice girls and we had a party of 6 to accommodate and everything was perfect! For the food, I ordered deviled eggs which were just the perfect egg yolk to mayo ratio. Not overpowering and had great seasonings. The burger was clearly the star of the meal. Lots of options to choose from - bbq, mushroom, black bean, etc. I would like to come back to try more. They also had a fun cocktail menu. I didn't try them but people in my party did and they were very fun and colorful!

A new location and a new look. Off The Wall Sandwich is a sparkling clean and colorful restaurant…read more With vibrant wall art, and striking lighting, the interior has an energetic vibe. This is a busy spot for classic American favorites: burgers, sandwiches and wings. From my previous experience, I knew it's worth checking the menu beforehand. For someone who is trying to make healthier choices, but not salad, this might be a good idea. I remember the last time I had the Classic Grilled Cheese Melt. This time, to avoid beef, bacon, or fried chicken, I decided to substitute a burger with grilled chicken breast for an additional $1. The Frenchie was my choice. I asked for the included Bison dip on the side and added Grilled Cremini Mushrooms for another $1. I simply couldn't find any ready-made combinations that suited my taste. All the burgers, melts and sandwiches come with your choice of fries or tater tots. We waited longer than expected for our food. The restaurant started filling up after we arrived. There were a lot of takeout orders while the dinner rush was starting. They should have a parallel system in the kitchen to keep the dining room moving at its own pace. Anyway, my sandwich was good. The chicken was perfectly grilled. The mushrooms and onions were flavorful, and the provolone cheese was melted and delicious. It's good that I asked to have the Bison dip on the side. We enjoyed the mountain of fries and onion rings (we really liked the breading on the onion rings). The Mac and Cheese was basic, but classic and very tasty. Unfortunately, our feedback on the Steak Hoagie was not so good. It wasn't as expected - a juicy, Buffalo-style, meat and cheese sub. My partner said that too much spice rub made the sandwich salty and dry. It wasn't the experience of dripping, shaved steak covered with lots of melted cheese, grilled peppers and onions. There was none of it. It was dry, smallish and disappointing. Our server Kimora took good care of us. She was smiling, and made our stay very pleasant.

The food wasn't mind-blowing, but it was solid. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, it was good, even if it's not the top contender for the best. The tater tots were a highlight, and I loved the habanero dipping sauce the server picked out for me. Would I go out of my way for it? Probably not. If I'm nearby, I'd absolutely stop in again to try something else on the menu, which has some great looking options.
