Stopped in for breakfast - have not visited Checkers Deli & Cafe for a long time! Ordered one of their breakfast plates: Two eggs (over easy), bacon, breakfast potatoes, and Rye toast; with a side of Corned Beef Hash and a bottle of water. Paid with Apple Pay. Food is made to order - took about 10 minutes - they brought the food out to my table. Pretty basic breakfast, but well executed for what it is. Unfortunately the Corned Beef Hash is the canned variety - but I knew that going in - so no surprise there. The eggs were cooked properly and the bacon was crispy. I ordered the potatoes to be extra crispy - and so they were. The Corned Beef hash was not quite as crisped up as I would have liked... This is a hole in the wall deli - my husband is a seafood eater and I am not so I wanted something close to the lobster roll spot he wanted for lunch. This was walking distance. I didn't look it up or anything, just took a chance. Sticky floors, outdated aesthetic. This isn't a fancy place. But the customer service is great, the portions are big, and the food is very good. I got a hot Turkey and cheese and it was awesome. My mom got the BLT and the bacon was delicious. They also have really good meal deals with fantastic prices, and their fries were crispy and delicious. This is perfect for a quick lunch, if I worked in the area, it would be my spot! read more

4/5! Great spot for breakfast and lunch! After one of my favorite deli's closed down, I had to look for a new one. Found out about Checkers Deli and Cafe through Yelp and I'm glad I did! The Food: For lunch, I went with a classic cheesesteak and fries. The cheesesteak was delicious! The meat was quality and the cheese paired with it was delicious. The portions are great as well, it won't leave you hungry tat's for sure. The Their food options are very well priced out as well. The Service: Staff were very friendly. They had our orders out fairly quickly even with a lunch rush. No complaints. Overall, a 4/5! A great spot if you're looking for a good breakfast or lunch meal. I try to stop at most of the private owned delis in Northern VA during my workweek! This one checks all the boxes! The steak and cheese combo is phenomenal! They don't use the cheap cut of meat and it is very flavorful! They cook your order pretty quickly! The interior is well lit and clean. Can seat roughly 30 people. Parking is a little tight. I came in today at Noonish and there was about ten folks in here. I was done and ready to leave in about twenty minutes! Definitely need to try this cafe out if your in the area! The older Asian man I think he is one of the owners cannot understand English. Whenever I place an order it takes a few minutes of repeating over and over. Today I got sweet tea it tasted like it came out of a dirty old picture. They really need to work on cleaning things. read more

Dated corner deli hidden in the industrial park that one would pass by if you were trying o follow the signs towards the live lobster. Minimum parking but ample seating inside, late open space with a multitude of choices of bottled drinks and cocacola fountain drinks. They have a small hot buffet with what looks to be Chinese food and different fried foods, as well as a cold bar with a variety of fresh cut fruit in portion-sized plastic containers. There's seriously a little bit of everything available and the prices are all below $8. They only serve breakfast and lunch but again there are plenty of choices especially when you are working with a tight budget. They even have daily specials on a board that are super cheap! You can order al la carte or have a combo that comes with fries and a drink. Service is extremely fast and the food comes out piping hot! I had the steak and cheese with fries and a soda. Great portions for the price and they made it exactly how i wanted it. Sandwich was good, exactly what I wanted. The fries are bland... But has the right ratio of crispy outside to soft inside... it should say 'deli & asian' cafe. When I lived in Chantilly, I passed this place a hundred times. It's off the main roads in an complex of office buildings. I had the Steak & Cheese sub which was...meh. I had to go up and ask for napkins and the lady gave me the eye. "yes, I'm the napkin horader'...beware when you see me coming your way. The fountain drink dispenser has a sign that says 'refills, .50 cent'...OK, I get it...we're in a recession. I think it's owned and operated by the asian couple. They advertise their asian food. I was afraid to ask if it was kosher asian. read more

Large selection of drinks, and they always have my order ready to go very quickly. Their sliced fresh fruit is ripe and juicy. I mostly stop in for a quick breakfast, or a BLT or something like that for lunch. I think their prices are very decent. My ONLY criticism is that if you pay in cash, make sure the change they give you is correct. I have been shorted a few times over the past few years, but hopefully it has been accidental. read more

We love this place ! Sometimes we need to get going, and they open early on Saturdays. The place is clean, and they have a varied menu. You can tell they are a great value by all the blue collar folks who are there with their work trucks out front. They usually have a few items out to reduce spoilage - so if you want a fruit cup -- it's there -- a salad with chicken -- it's there. You want something else, just ask. We usually early in the morning order from their extensive breakfast menu. Sometimes expecting a busy day, we'll eat breakfast and order lunch to go. The waffles are frozen, while the eggs and toast are made to order. We are tea drinkers and that is normal here. The portions are large as you would expect given their construction and similar clientele. Tasty food, good prices, friendly service who remember us -- it doesn't get much better than that. Well worth the trip to find them, tucked away in the industrial area opposite side of Centreville Rd from the Dulles Expo Center and Chantilly Post Office. read more

Not just another Deli. This deli owned and operated by a Korean family has it all. Great food and service. My favorite is their steak and cheese. I've also tried the gyro here and it was fabulous. I'm always on the run so the fast service even during lunch is a real plus. Definitely recommend! read more
