I found a piece of dark brown/ black hair in my food.
    Kayla G.

I had placed an order through uber eats and it just got delivered. Once I got to the bottom i saw a piece of hair that's brown/black. I called the restaurant and the lady that answered the phone wasn't very pleasant. I told her the situation that happened and she said there's nothing she can do about it and they all are wearing hairnets and mistakes happen.

Reminds me of Rally's in Los Angeles the best part is that it's opened late till 1am and Friday and Saturday till 3am it's difficult at times to find places to eat at night, so glad I saw it when I was passing by.

went to the on on plank road in spotsylvania va today food was terrible fish sandwich was so hard I couldn't eat and fries looked like they were left over and full of grease so that was a waste of 11.00 they use to be a great place to eat was very dissatisfied. was looking forward to the fish sandwich

If you know you know! Nothing more satisfying than a good ole Checkers meal when I happen to come across one! This location is one of the closest to me and it's always go simple because I want to indulge in their apple pie! So no fries for me this go round (which they are known for) but definitely enjoyed my meal! My apologies on the picture quality (I was starving, lol)

Big Buford.... Really was just 2 Patties a half of tomato and a lil lettuce (missing the onions, I think they forgot to put them on)

10/25 7:45pm - This must be my week of bad reviews. But today Checkers reminded me why I don't do fast food establishments because the food is never as advertised and the service is poor. I went thru the drive thru at Checkers and ordered 3 sandwiches and asked the lady to ensure that they put enough lettuce on the sandwiches and not just a sprinkle. No mind you, I wasn't asking for extra cheese or bacon. Just a sufficient amount of lettuce. I arrive at the window and receive my food. Of course I open to inspect and there was barely enough lettuce to cover the 2 tablespoons of Mayo on the Big Buford, it looked like they provided me with 1/3 of a tomato . I ask the lady at the window if they could add additional lettuce to the sandwich....her response was this was the correct amount of lettuce for each sandwich. I said is that so, because my sandwich does not look like the pic. The response I received was this is portion control and we will have to charge you and additional $.20 for extra lettuce. I replied, I am not asking for extra lettuce just a sufficient amount to Match the sandwich like it does in the picture. She looked at me like I was speaking in another language . We'll just for that make of customer service I will take my request and additional $.20 somewhere else. And fast food establishment wonder why Chick Fil A is taking over, it's not always because of the food, customer service matters just as much. Thank you, but no thank you I will get my burgers else where

Unfortunately his support let him down. I ordered 2 piece roasted chicken and the server brought me fried after Jeremy confirmed they had what I wanted ready. My wife was also w me and was given fried vs roasted but she wanted dark meat. Jeremy asked if I was ok waiting 15 minutes for fresh roasted chicken which I agreed as my wife had to wait 5 for her meal to come correctly. To compensate he gave us a dessert and extra breast (I ordered white meat) when my meal came out. As promised 2 hot juicy breasts and a wing. I literally told my wife after the first bite the chicken was done perfectly. A if it was done cooking seconds after completely done. Well not quite. There was more cooking that needed to be done after my second cut into the breast. No worries, I had two breast and so I cut sliced the other and the juices flowed out and I thought yes the got this right....... Nope. I cut deeper and it wasn't done either. I told Jeremy I just wanted a refund at this point which he gladly gave me and apologized continuously. Sadly, when I looked at my wife's chicken compared to mine, it was quite easy to tell hers was not that fresh. It looked dry and maybe reheated. But can't say for certain bc I didn't ask her how it tasted. The place is clean and very casual atmosphere. But this was a 1 and Done.

I was excited to see there was a canes here. While the service here is phenomenal--especially the young woman who always has the most intricate and absolutely stuninh nails, yes she is kind, the food is not quite the Kentucky Raisin I was raised on HA! Chicken tenders are good, but lack the crunch. They seem more breaded and soggey. Fries are a bit limp as well...but my recent visit led me to disappointment as it seems my carry out box was not secured,, I took a left to get back on carl d pkwy and well...all my contents fell out. Sigh. My Volvo enjoyed the meal at least, and I got a tender and fries and of course the best lemonade ever so it was not bad enough to leave a unpleasant taste in my tongue thank you i will be back maybe later yes. There stood a cheerful young lady with a tablet beside the speaker box, hustling orders with the urgency of an air traffic controller at Reagan National. Now I will give them this -- they move people through faster than a tax refund disappears in Washington. I ordered three chicken finger baskets and repeated "unsweetened tea" enough times that it should have become part of the permanent record. Reconfirmed it at the second window too. We were in and out in four minutes flat, carrying enough Styrofoam and paper sacks to feed a Little League team. Six minutes later at home, the first sip of tea hit like liquified hummingbird feeder. That "unsweetened" tea had enough sugar in it to put the city of Fredericksburg on insulin monitoring. Somewhere in that kitchen a man clearly believes every Southerner measures tea sweetness by whether the spoon can stand upright in the cup. Then came the fries. Lord help us. These were pale, limp crinkle fries that looked less "fresh fried" and more "recently thawed beside a space heater." Not a hint of crispness. No golden-brown glory. Just soft potato strips lying in the tray like they had accepted defeat long before reaching the fryer. The chicken itself? Tiny little one-inch strips hiding under enough crunchy batter to qualify as exterior siding. Crispy, yes. Generous, no. More breading than bird. The Texas toast arrived soggy enough to make you wonder if it had been steamed instead of toasted. Calling that "Texas toast" is an insult to a state that once fought a war over standards. The lone survivor in this culinary rodeo was the sauce. That special sauce is carrying the entire franchise on its back like a weary mule climbing Pike's Peak. I finally asked my grandson if he had eaten there before. He admitted he had not. He'd simply been told it was great and figured nobody could really mess up chicken fingers and fries. Well. Humanity continues to innovate. Strike Raising Cane's from the regular rotation unless it is 2:00 in the morning, every other restaurant in Virginia is dark, and your soul is screaming for fried chicken through the fog of poor decisions.

When I walked in, the young lady serving me was leaning against a table with her gloved hands. She then came over to assist me while carrying on a conversation with another employee who had walked through the swinging doors. During the conversation, she used the same gloved hand to hold the door open. She then proceeded to grab my bowls and serve my food with those same gloves. Afterward, she went to the register and handled my payment without removing or changing her gloves. After I paid, I watched her take her cell phone out of her pocket and scroll on it while still wearing the same gloves. This is a basic food-safety concern. Gloves can become contaminated just as hands can, and they need to be changed frequently, especially after touching doors, personal items, money, or other potentially contaminated surfaces. Hands should also be washed appropriately between glove changes and food-handling tasks. Before handling clean plates or bowls and serving food, she should have put on a fresh pair of gloves, and those gloves should have been removed after handling the bagged food and before moving on to other tasks. I truly enjoy the food and would like to continue supporting the business, which is why I'm bringing this to your attention. Please consider retraining your staff on proper glove use, handwashing, and food-handling procedures. These are fundamental food-safety practices, and I hope this concern is taken seriously.

Unfortunately, from my taste, I found it very salty and greasy.
