They just opened and we went inside to order. We waited in the line all to be told it is a 30 minute wait to order chicken. So I just ordered Yuca fries and beans. Very disappointed with the way it is being run. Will wait a month and try some chicken but for now it is not worth coming here.it has been over 30 minutes and I still have not received my small beans and small Yuka fries. This is absolutely ridiculous. It took a hour to get a small bean, which was very small and an extremely small Yuka fry. I will never come back. Not worth the price. I would give them less than a 1 star if I could.

Horrifically bland greasy fried chicken, soggy tasteless roasted chicken. Fried, plaintains and dinner roll.

And I did like the fact that the food was cooked to order so it was very fresh. I did not visit the restroom so I can't speak to the status of the cleanliness. The soda fountain could have been a little cleaner. Everything was very sticky, and the tray was overflowing. The tables and around the tables were clean.. The hush puppies, biscuits, and the macaroni and cheese were the best I've ever had from a fast food restaurant. As for the chicken, it smelled amazing. Unfortunately, from my taste, I found it very salty and greasy. The chicken was well flavored, but it was just way too salty for me I also tried their banana pudding and unfortunately, once again, at least from my taste, it was lacking the right flavors. I did try their honey butter chicken biscuit sandwich I found that to be delicious So for that alone, it's totally worth a trip. I did forget to take a picture of banana pudding and the honey butter biscuit sandwich

Cheddar's was nearby, and we hoped that the traffic situation would be resolved by the time we finished our lunches. (It was). We were seated quickly, and were given our menus and two yummy honey butter croissants (gratis, 440 calories). I opted for the Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad ($12.49), which features lemon pepper chicken, penne pasta, romaine lettuce and croutons (860 calories). My rating for this dish is 3/5. It was fine, but a little heavy on the dressing, and light on the chicken. It was as advertised, but a bit boring with so few ingredients. My husband opted for the Chicken Alfredo which was served with garlic bread ($14.79). This dish also included penne pasta, broccoli, and homemade Alfredo sauce (1,540 calories). My husband also rated his meal as 3/5. He said it was good enough but feels that Olive Garden has similar meals that are a better value because they include unlimited salad and breadsticks. We were seated in a booth in a separate room on the left, that felt quite isolated. In fact, if another couple wasn't seated near us, we not have seen our waitress or the activity of the restaurant again. Finally, a personal pet peeve for this and some other restaurants .... There has been increased pressure to tip more generously. The suggested gratuity "provided for your convenience" on the receipt first listed 22%, then 20%, and finally 18%. The old standard of 15% seems to have disappeared. Parking was free and plentiful, and provided easy access to/from Plank Road.

Everything was fresh, packed with flavor, and the spice level was spot on, just the right kick. Service was friendly, though the food took a bit to arrive. But that's because everything's made to order, which really shows in the quality and taste. The space inside is minimal, with bar tops for seating, but the outdoor seating at National Harbor adds a fun vibe with plenty of people-watching opportunities. I'd definitely come back. Great food in a lively spot makes for a perfect combo. Now I just need them to come to the Central FL Area.

Off street parking is ample. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with counter service. The menu has a variety of heat options available for their chicken, from "country" (no heat) to mild (a touch of heat), medium (a slap of heat), hot (feel the burn), to burn baby burn (the hottest level). My adult sons, and my son's girlfriend were in town, so there were 5 of us. My oldest son ordered the 4 piece tenders (mild), with fries and a drink, my youngest son ordered a chicken sandwich combo mild, his girlfriend ordered macaroni and cheese and fries, my husband ordered the 4 piece tenders (no heat), and I ordered the 3 piece tenders (no heat), then we split the Joey Eat Fries, which are Boneless breast, Crimson sauce, slaw, pickles, and cheese, over a bed of Crimson fries. We ordered those with our chicken mild. I'm so happy we didn't order beyond mild, because I can't take too much heat, and the mild was too spicy for me, but perfectly spicy for my husband. For those that like very spicy, you will love the heat, it packs a punch! The tenders with no heat, still were amazing! Everyone in our group were highly satisfied with the size of the chicken tenders/sandwich, and were impressed with how juicy and fresh they were, without the greasy texture. My husband is picky about his chicken tenders, and said that these were by far his new favorites in the area. My son's girlfriend said that her Mac and cheese was great, and the fries were good too. But the Joey Eat Fries were fantastic! Sooo good and more than enough for two people to enjoy; massive, and a meal of their own. The only thing that left something to be desired, was the bread. Would have been better toasted with butter, and perhaps a toasted garlic bread option. Prices were comparable to other similar establishments. We were impressed with the friendly service, speed and delivery of the food, and the quality of the meals. Their grand opening is Monday, April 1st, make sure to check them out!

Theres plenty of parking and they have a small area for outside seating. As you walked in, there's plenty of seating, they have an open kitchen concept, a side room for special events or meetings (25 people capacity) but it's their mission that caught my interest as cashier/ hostess Lexi explains to me. This company spreads and provides charity catering throughout the community with multiple outlets. Lexi was very patient as she explains how the menu works. I ordered 3 items: 1) Loaded baked potato 2) Fried fish 3) Chicken and waffles. I just wanted to taste the baked potato without any protein on top. I don't know what it was that had an off taste, maybe the butter. The potato itself was soft topped with cheese, green onions and a little bland. The chicken and waffle were tasty. The fried chicken wasn't as crispy as I would like it but it was well seasoned and the waffle was soft. There are so many options for your sides. So for the fried fish, the appearance looks delicious but it was very thin and dry. Even with the tartar sauce it was still dry. I was really looking forward to it. The sides I selected were fries and hope cakes (which are sweet corn bread). Their beverages are on point, I got their lemonade and sweet tea. Lexi was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is only opened on Fridays-Sundays for regular business but since they do multiple catering events, they are open 7 days a week. They also offer Sunday brunch between the hours of 9a-3p which the entire dining room is open with mocktail and coffee station. There isn't a buffet during the brunch but a la carte off the menu. I would make a return visit to try their brunch menu in the near future.

There stood a cheerful young lady with a tablet beside the speaker box, hustling orders with the urgency of an air traffic controller at Reagan National. Now I will give them this -- they move people through faster than a tax refund disappears in Washington. I ordered three chicken finger baskets and repeated "unsweetened tea" enough times that it should have become part of the permanent record. Reconfirmed it at the second window too. We were in and out in four minutes flat, carrying enough Styrofoam and paper sacks to feed a Little League team. Six minutes later at home, the first sip of tea hit like liquified hummingbird feeder. That "unsweetened" tea had enough sugar in it to put the city of Fredericksburg on insulin monitoring. Somewhere in that kitchen a man clearly believes every Southerner measures tea sweetness by whether the spoon can stand upright in the cup. Then came the fries. Lord help us. These were pale, limp crinkle fries that looked less "fresh fried" and more "recently thawed beside a space heater." Not a hint of crispness. No golden-brown glory. Just soft potato strips lying in the tray like they had accepted defeat long before reaching the fryer. The chicken itself? Tiny little one-inch strips hiding under enough crunchy batter to qualify as exterior siding. Crispy, yes. Generous, no. More breading than bird. The Texas toast arrived soggy enough to make you wonder if it had been steamed instead of toasted. Calling that "Texas toast" is an insult to a state that once fought a war over standards. The lone survivor in this culinary rodeo was the sauce. That special sauce is carrying the entire franchise on its back like a weary mule climbing Pike's Peak. I finally asked my grandson if he had eaten there before. He admitted he had not. He'd simply been told it was great and figured nobody could really mess up chicken fingers and fries. Well. Humanity continues to innovate. Strike Raising Cane's from the regular rotation unless it is 2:00 in the morning, every other restaurant in Virginia is dark, and your soul is screaming for fried chicken through the fog of poor decisions.
