Not terrible, not fantastic. We went because we had a coupon for a free mother cruncher, which we weren't able to use. They did compensate us with a free ice cream though. The fries were tasty as always. I was really excited about the chili cheese fries, but they weren't as impressive as I remembered. The chili tasted over cooked and dried up. Line hasn't moved for over an hour. This is nearly every night and it's literally always before closing. Update: after making us wait all that time they told one of the vehicles ahead of us they were the last vehicle to be allowed an order. Checkers is awesome! They hosted our end of year teacher meeting (donation based) and it was amazing! The food was great, we had burgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken sandwich and cake pops! I had the burger and it was really good the bread was nice and fresh which I loved. The hot dog was very good too. All of our teachers truly enjoyed themselves and the food. Nilda Rios the General manager was great, she treated everyone very well and displayed great customer service. They won me over I will definitely tell my friends to visit this Checkers and I will also be stopping by for lunch. YUM! Thank you for your donation to Orange County Virtual Schools!! Stopped here on my way home from a doctor's appointment for some quick lunch. Ordered two chili cheese dogs. Drive-thru move too little on the slow side, however the person working the drive-thru window was friendly. The food was hot. Not the best chili dog I've had, but not the worst either. For what it is, a fast food place with the drive-thru, it's a decent option. Service is quick(ish), the food is fresh. You can't ask for much more with fast food restaurants. Don't expect five-star dining experience from these kind of restaurants, and you'll rarely leave disappointed. read more

They messed up my order, and when asked if I could have any honey mustered and they said yes I did not receive any. I basically give all checkers 2 stars not just this location. They always seem to send out cold food at all locations. Shame as the few times I received food served at the proper temperature I have enjoyed it. They have a cool niche with their product lineup. When I even suggest to anyone to go to checkers, I get oh they are gross. I suggest they all give out free coupons for food, and make sure that food is properly prepared. Maybe fire some of the lazy employees, or at least have the managers trained, so that the employees can be trained. Sadly the checkers near me have closed. When I got home....the smell "immediately " hit me like, a Florida canal. Rancid, definitely old, putrid meat. This person (jamaican woman) told me she made it fresh, which couldn't have been further from the truth. Thank God, I didn't reach the buyer, he would have wanted to sue me and probably postmates, for the horrifying meal that this unqualified woman tried to pass me. I always request my food fresh and never have any complaints when it comes to freshness. However they do get special request wrong often. Just make sure you check the your food before driving away. They don't have a problem fixing your order. The cashier always have a smile. I love the 2 for 3$ spicy chicken sandwich. I get mine with light mayo, add onions, tomatoes and pickles. I still can't imagine why there aren't more Checkers restaurants in the area. I have been satisfied at every location I have tried. The spicy chicken has a great kick, the burgers are juicy and delicious, and the fries are the best offered by any drive thru. Then you get great value for the price too. Amazing French fries! My favorite ever! That's the only reason i even gave this place one star. I first had to wait over 15 minutes to even get my order in. Then when I asked for a banana milkshake, she told me it would be 10 minute on the shake because the machine was broken. Funny, took me less than 3 minutes to get my food AND shake. The lady at the window couldn't even say the word "ten.' She then rudely called me "girl," didn't tell me my price when I came to the window, and gave me the incorrect order. Upon arriving home I noticed that they STILL hadn't included my second hamburger despite repeatedly asking for it and charged me for it as well! In addition, my chicken wasn't cooked all the way either. I will continue to TRY different Checkers, but I will NEVER return to this one.
