Very nice guy as well. Unfortunately, the owner of the building Really inflated some things at the end of my lease. I left a screen door, bamboo and string lights in the backyard and a bidet . The blinds in the bedroom were chewed by my dog a bit. I asked the owner if I could remove the items he said no and I was on a group thread with danielle and I was able to go remove some items. Screen door was mine so I took it off. He was trying to charge me 300 for a replacement that cost 150 at Home Depot $300 to remove the bamboo and string lights in the backyard that I removed in two minutes and the bidet I was charged $95 for not removing. Applying she charged me $300 for and I sent him the exact measurements of the same ones at Home Depot that were $35 Again, Danielle is great unfortunately the owner of the building really gouge me .

When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me the unit I was interested in was no longer available -- that someone was already pre-approved. Ok, no big. Onto the next. That same day, I get an email from this property management company saying that they are still going to show the apartment on Wednesday. I asked for them to clarify that 1) yes somebody was already pre-approved for the apartment and that 2) they were still going to show the apartment on Wednesday at 1 pm and that 3) they would be available to answer my questions at the open house. I didn't wanna just show up for nothing. Well! It's 1:00 pm Wednesday! I get here and no representatives from the management company can be found. I call the office and the receptionist tells me that the unit is no longer available and that they would not be showing he unit ............despite the multiple emails that I received assuring me that the open house would proceed. Nope, I'm SOL. Thoroughly disappointed in this management company and how they gave me the the runaround and wasted my time. If they can't manage a simple *open house* I wonder what other inadequacies they have regarding managing their properties. Get your shit together.

They still came back asking for my actual tax returns and whether my son lives with me full-time, which is illegal according to the Federal Fair Housing Act, specifically 42 U.S.C. § 3604 (Section 804 of the Fair Housing Act) and will be reported for CalDRE and HUD with proofs. This company is what wrong with the housing market and what will cause the next house crisis, they are bullies. I'm 37 years old. In almost 20 years of renting in LA, I've never been asked for tax returns -- not even when I bought a property. This is ridiculous. Extremely rude, invasive, and discriminatory. They're clearly looking for any reason to reject people. Complete waste of time. Stay away.
