First time at this location. Floor was dirty with food. We were seated at a booth which had crumbs all around it and dirty table. Everything needs a good deep clean! Ordered chip and dip appetizer. Chips were not fresh and tasted old and soggy. Croissants were warm and soft. My guest requested the Monte Christo sandwich. She was told they didn't have any more! We ordered the fish and chips. Luke warm fries and tasteless fish! Disappointing. Bathroom was dirty and toilets were unpleasant! Paper towel dispenser doesn't work . They have put it on a paper towel holder. Extremely disappointing experience tonight at this Cheddar's. After waiting nearly 1/2 for my one dinner, my salmon came out so overcooked that it looked like dried out chicken. I asked for unsweet ice tea and was given sweet 2x. When I finally spoke to the manager and asked if she would eat the salmon I was given she responded "No, because I don't eat salmon." When I finally got the remade dinner it was better but still very greasy. I had no silverware since they whisked it away with the original plate. No one ever came to see if everything was satisfactory. read more

The whole family was happy- what a miracle. This is southern cooking at it's finest- everything on the menu is comfort food. Pros: friendly, knowledgeable service. Good food, large expansive menu with something for everyone, clean, plenty of parking, yummy appetizers. Beautiful interior decor and design, helpful hostess and entryway experience. The kids and my husband basically licked the plates clean. You can pay at the table on the games tablet and so you have the freedom to leave whenever you are ready. Cons: it's not cheap, portion sizes are medium to small- I ordered shrimp and I got 4 small ones with thier tails on. I wasn't terribly hungry but if I had been I would have been unhappy. We didn't have a to-go box between the 4 of us which is unusual so that is just awareness on the portions. Overall, would defnitely go back. It's different, we don't have a Cheddar's where we live so it's a nice change for us. My family was raving fans of the yumminess of the food. :) read more

A few of my friends and I went for lunch just to have our "waitress" roll her eyes at us and being very careful free. After that another girl AJ wanted to cause a scene by being rude to us and basically wanting to cause trouble. Stay Far away from this location, management needs to clean house and bring more professional people in who actually knows customer service. Food was extremely dry, bland and outright disgusting. I travel 1075 miles for a business trip. took my mother dinner and have one of the worst experiences i ever had. I will recommend this place to my worst enemy. I will never comeback here. While I can't remember her name and don't see it on the receipt, I will say whoever served us at the bar this past Saturday afternoon was amazing. Although wait time for the restaurant seating wasn't long, it was an empty bar. Our bartender was super attentive and drinks were wonderful. Food came out fresh and ready. Not too noisy, but not too quiet. Will say it was a little chilly and moved down a couple seats. A literal perfect experience for a Saturday lunch. Had the: key west chicken and shrimp and the grilled salmon. Of course, the buttered croissants were great too. We had great service and will definitely be back. read more

The food is fine..... from a previous experience. The restaurant and especially the bar area was terrible. Dirty and very unappealing We were on a wait list for about 25 minutes , finally texted us and tried to seat us in a large,uncomfortable corner booth. Just 2 of us, so we asked if we could be seated at a smaller booth, we were told no. So asked if we could sit at a high top table, but they were piled high with Dirty dishes. Asked if we could sit at the we bar, said yes that's fine, even though there were available seats again, Dirty dishes all on the bar and if course no bartender. We decided to wait because we were hungry. After sitting 10 minutes, still no bartender . We decided we didn't feel comfortable enough and we were getting angry from waiting so long and no service. We left and went across the parking lot to the Yard House. Made a good decision. It's truly sad Cheddars has gone downhill. The food had always been good, but after the last 2 visits of messy tables and unacceptable service I won't be back. I need to warn others not to waste their time there read more

I recently dined at Cheddar's and ordered a meal, which was delicious and prepared very well. Unfortunately, the service during and after the meal didn't match the quality of the food. When it was time to pay, I paid in cash and purposely broke a large bill so I could leave a tip in cash. The waitress returned with my "change," but I noticed it wasn't correct--there were no coins and no receipt included. When I politely asked about it, she responded loudly and with an attitude, saying, "Oh, you want your 28 cents?!" This was surprising and uncomfortable--I simply wanted to make sure everything was correct. She never did offer an explanation, receipt, or give me my correct change. All I knew was that I didn't get my true change. I didn't know how much was exactly due to me and when I asked - she got very defensive and angry; it was uncomfortable and confusing as to why she keep this small amount of change. Maybe she kept more...who knows at this point. Additionally, throughout the meal, the waitress did not check on us or offer refills, no dessert offered, which made the dining experience feel overlooked. I'm sharing this feedback not to complain, but in hopes of highlighting an opportunity for better customer service. The food was great, and with more attentive and professional service, the overall experience could match the quality of the menu. read more

The salmon I get is only $14 too, I appreciate that it also comes with rice in addition to the 2 sides. I was disappointed by this outing to say the least. We, a party of two, ordered our meal and appetizers the first time the waitress approached the table (which was ten minutes after we sat down). Twenty minutes later, our waitress came back to say that one of our appetizers was unavailable. This, of course, was understandable. They have what they have, and they don't have what they don't have. That was no bother. What did bother us was the fact that the appetizer that we ordered roughly twenty minutes before this came out after another twenty minutes. We ordered the cheese curds, which were hot, yet they had little to no cheese inside them. After fifty minutes of waiting for our entree (having been ordered when the waitress came to the table the first time), it finally arrived. I ordered the ribeye with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and rice. The mushrooms were cold, the mashed potatoes were crunchy, and the rice was hard. My associates order was wrong. Our waitress came to the table three times. The first time we gave our order, the second time was to inform us our other appetizer could not be made, and the third time to ask if we were ready for the check. Food was brought out by other staff. Refills were never offered to our party. After all was said and done, we spent two hours at this restaurant and were interacted with by our waitress three times. We were served incorrect food (that we didn't complain about as we had been there for nearly an hour by the time it arrived, were ready to leave, and we didn't want to cause a scene), were served cold food, were served food that was not cooked to completion, and were barely noticed. I gave the waitress an 18% tip. The service did not deserve that kind of tip, but I do not feel as if I can blame everything on her. The bar, which we sat next to, remained full of dirty plates and was never bussed, the table in front of us had plates on it from the time we arrived to the time we left. People continued entering the restaurant and were seated past tables that still had used dishes on them. We watched the manager visit a table that had a few complaints. I have never publicly complained about a restaurant before. Normally, I feel like it's not worth it or that the staff were having an off night. This was another level. The service was not good, the ambiance was lacking, the food was either wrong or bad, and others in the building had a close to the same experience. I blame nothing on the waitress. She seemed overworked and tired, but the restaurant was barely half-full. Other workers needed to help. This visit was sad, and I think I'll look to other restaurants in the future. read more

Our first time ever eating Cheddar's, and we got the seafood platters with side of fries, cole slaw, and a Caesar side salad. My husband and I agreed it did the job (of feeding us) but we wouldn't order that particular plate again. A bit plain, but I will say they fried the fish very well. The breading never slipped off which can be annoying at other restaurants. The croissants were to die for, and I would go back solely for those. We found a gift card and decided to give Cheddar's a chance after having only been before with our [rather large] family. We were quickly seated as it was a bit before the dinner rush. Our server Addison was phenomenal and gave us plenty of time to order and good recommendations. We got a lot: the cheese bites starter, Maui margarita, ribs and shrimp combo and Dijon chicken entrees, and the chocolate sundae cake. Phew. If anything we were expecting an average experience but we were honestly blown away. Especially by the ribs/shrimp and beans and rice side. I was at this location with my wife, everything started good, we ordered two apps, brought out promptly, afterward, everything went wrong. My wife ordered a salad, before we saw our waitress, Emma, we almost were all the way through with the apps, like 10 minutes, I tried to get another servers attention but they ignored me, we eventually got forks, after our entrees were brought to us. Sometimes you pay attention to things, this server was very rude and unattentive, we are a mixed couple and we could see how attentive she was to the table right next to us, it was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had in the past 5 years since I've moved to South Carolina. We tipped her 20 on a 67$ check, this waitress was the worst, and it was my birthday dinner, my bday is Oct 12, but we couldn't make it out untill this weekend due to our work schedules. my hubby have been there often and it never disappoints. We have been to locations all over the country and it is always consistent. The places are clean, nicer than an o'charleys or an applebees. I honestly wish there was more of them. Hubby likes the ribs and salmon, I've had most of their salads, the chicken tenders and the cajun pasta. Service was amazing- her name was becky I do believe. Give her a raise. She was wonderful. Food was really good also. Haven't been here in a long time but really enjoyed it. Not long of a wait - maybe 10 minutes. One item was wrong, but it was fixed immediately. The lemon pepper chicken could have a little more rice with it, not enough rice for the chicken you get, she also gave me some more rice when I asked her, and asked her for one to go for my daughter. Only complaint is the bathrooms are gross, the men's were nasty, the women's weren't great either.
