I was very disappointed with my recent experience. I am a big fan of Cheddars and have had it many times before in different locations. But I will probably not go back to this location. Their "famous" onion rings had a hair cooked in them. My food was not hot, my fathers burger had practically raw bacon on it, and my mothers sandwich was missing ingredients. This establishment is a great stop for the hungry traveler. We were able to walk in and be seated quickly. Jacob was our waiter, very attentive and thorough check in several times throughout the meal. Drinks never ran low and even brought a togo coffee. Service like this is hard to come by. I don't understand the low rating for this location. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this restaurant. The salad was fresh the potato soup was good. The service was very helpful and they brought refills, as they should, before we had ran out of water. The restaurant was packed wen we got there for lunch. There was a bus in the parking lot, but we got our food without much of a wait. read more

Love Cheddar's food in general. Never had a bad meal there and the decor is very interesting when waiting for food or a table. The employees are friendly and helpful. Love the Dijon Chicken and Mushrooms with extra rice. Broccoli casserole is also good. Ate here for dinner on 7/15/2015 - ate at bar. Fairly quit but decent crowd. A more sophisticated feel than I expected which was nice. Had a salad which was great and 8oz steak over fried finely cut strips of onion. Bartender was great, friendly and attentive. Beer cold. Food was pretty good. Don't recall the cut but a NY strip would taste better. It was grilled but not great - might have been mine. Guy next to me had a chicken dish that looked great. I had the queso dip and chips earlier and they were great. My husband has a life threatening reaction to MSG. Our waitress asked the kitchen to make sure there was no MSG in his food, and they suggested leaving the seasonings off our salmon, but otherwise everything would be fine. I took a bite of the rice and got an instant headache, and asked the waitress to make sure our rice did not contain it. Unfortunately my husband had already taken a couple of bites by this time, and the waitress came out and told us the rice did, indeed, contain MSG. The manager truly did not seem to care, and we paid for our uneaten food and left. Thanks to their carelessness our romantic anniversary weekend has turned into a nightmare. read more

Food is consistently good and the atmosphere is clean and friendly. They struggle with service. I eAt here about once a month and always sit at the bar. The last three times I've been they've brought my food before my salad. Same bartender (an apologetic brunette) .. Not sure if she's overwhelmed or poorly trained... Disorganized whatever . Worst experience ever! My family and I were out to celebrate my new job. Glasses were absolutely dirty. Had food particles stuck on them. Server brought our sodas out in styrofoam cups!!! My ribs were burnt. When I brought this to my server's attention, he said they were left over and warmed. However, the outside of the ribs were burned but inside cold! This is one of my favorite restaurants for sure! Amazing service and a nice quiet-like place to sit down and have a nice dinner. It's one of my favorite places to go for dates as well. they serve really big portions, every time I've been I've always had to get a to-go box, but I really recommend this place. The food is sooo good. It's one of the better restaurants that London for sure has to offer. The wait can be a little long sometimes because it's always so crowded especially after church or towards the weekend, but I still wouldn't mind it. I have eaten at other Cheddars but today was my first time at the London Cheddars. We waited a little while to be seated but that was ok. We ordered their famous onion rings as an appetizer. When the server brought them they were completely cold. When our croissants came, they to were completely cold. I've NEVER been served cold croissants at a Cheddars before. To be honest they aren't very good cold. If they were cold the first time I ordered them I wouldn't have ordered them again because I wouldn't know how great they are warm. Then I ordered my favorite country fried steak, it came without gravy. By the time I finally got the gravy I had eaten my sides and some cold onion rings and wasn't hungry anymore. I like Cheddars at other locations but not this one. I would NOT recommend the London Cheddars. read more

Although I've never had a pleasant experience at Cheddars I've given them multiple chances to change my mind. Today I tried this restaurant for the fourth and FINAL time. Great place to stop during travel. Varied menu with lots of healthy and fresh choices. Our party ranged from kids meals to miso salmon and all was fresh and well prepared. Thus used to be a great place to eat, not anymore. Stopped for lunch on 6-5-21 with our grandkids. First, the drinks were wrong, at the beginning of the meal we asked for ketchup and steak sauce, I had to go find some myself from a empty table, in which there were alot of. At the end of our meal the server FINALLY came around In which I could voice my concerns. The drinks were wrong, the fries were cold and hard, the chicken strips were over fried. My grandsons steak was raw and bleeding, he orders it medium rare. The only responose I got from the server was, I can't do anything about it because he ate some of it, nooo, the remainder of the steak was wadded up in the napkin on the table if she had taken time to listen. I know we're in the middle of a epedemic but the restaurant wasn't crowded and they had plenty of workers. Do not waste your time or $$$$. Do like we did once we left the restaurant. Went to Cheddars for dinner order a steak med rare Bake potato will the steak was almost raw sent it back it came back not must better but wait for it the meat was bad it had a really back smell. It was an amazing, mind blowing, tasteful experience. I loved every second of the Cheddars experience. I had the chicken, and let me just it was impeccable. This is a good place to eat it is reasonably priced. The wait can be a little long but it is worth the wait. I eat the ribs and shrimp last time and they were the best I had since Montgomery inn. Mine and my husbands first visit at Cheddars in London, Kentucky. The service was great but the food was horrible. My steak was so dry it was almost powder in the center. I didn't complain at the time, because the manager seemed confrontational when I asked if I could get a few more fries with my order ( I counted 10 fries) So I ate the (cold) steamed broccoli and could not eat the dry steak, and the few fries. I will be calling tomorrow to complain to the manager. We still left a good tip because the waiter was nice and attentive. We told him the service was good but the food was really awful. Follow up Review: The general Managers assistant called me this morning 11/4/14 to get more details on our visit......Her name is Lisa. She was very apologetic and is going to send a gift card for more than we spent, and said she hopes we will give the restaurant another chance. I'm skittish but we will see what happens. read more

Like any place in London, the service isn't great. Most of the wait staff in the area seem to be on drugs. I've eaten at Cheddar's several times and I've loved my meal every time! The atmosphere is very pretty and sophisticated. Overall great lunch/dinner spot! read more

The last time I went my pasta noodles were hard like they hadn't been cooked enough or they had been sitting in water for a long period of time and my chicken was burnt. I only went here because it was close to motel. When I walked up to it I noticed the windows were perfectly clean. I mean flawless. You hardly ever see that. When I went inside it was spotless also and done up tastefully. I thought it was just another chain with lowgrade food. I got a chicken dinner that was cooked perfectly. It came out a little too fast,2 minutes after I ordered but it was very good especially for 9 bucks.Who ever is managing this place is doing a great job. Few do in the mid level fast casual food scene. It pays, believe me. The wait staff was ok. The girls didnt smile much but whatever. I usually go for the Diners,Drive ins ,Dives places if I can find them or a local brew pub. But this place was a pleasant surprise and I will not forget it when I see another one. The three of us wanted to try the Cheddars in London but we had to get back home so we decided to carry out. My wife went into the restaurant to get a menu to bring out to the car because our friend Oliver was unable to walk inside. The lady at the front told my wife that they did not allow menus to be carried outside. She indicated that she might have let my wife take a menu outside but because the manager was near she would not chance it. My wife came out disappointed and I couldn't believe it. We went next door to Shiloh's where they happily allowed my wife to bring a menu to the car. We ordered steaks with the works, took them home and enjoyed another great meal from Shiloh's. To the Cheddars' ladie's credit I have heard that there are lots of menu thieves working in this area. Sorry, no opinion on the food but I doubt we will be back to Cheddars. read more
