I can't even explain the horrid experience we had tonight. We arrived at about 7:30pm. Our table was dirty and our server came over and tried to wipe it up as best she could. She asked us if we would like drinks, we said yes. 20 to 30 minutes later we still have no drinks, and she asked for order. It went downhill from there as she became more miserable and non-responsive to our needs. I can go on and on about the awful experience but I don't really want to. I am definitely not a big fan of corporate restaurants. I had a taste for fried shrimp. I was near Pappadeaux's and attempted to endulge in fried shrimp and Cajun rice but I couldn't find a parking space on a Saturday afternoon. Next stop was Bad Lobster, bar service was slow so I used phone to look up Cheddars menu for shrimp. Damn near found gold. Paid tab and left Arrived at Cheddars, bartender addressed me within minutes. The place was crowded. Ordered beverage, then food. In less than 15 minutes, I had several large butterflied shrimp, mashed potatoes, and broccoli casserole for 9.99. There may have been 6-8 shrimp but I don't know the actual count. HOWEVER, I will return and take photos before I eat those large shrimp. read more

Not bad at all! I read the reviews and was a little frightened by the wait times. Big tip....don't take the entire soccer team and you will move through just fine. We were seated less than 3 minutes after checking in. Mind you, there were only two in my party. The drinks were tasty and cheap! I had the Tito Tea and was feeling pretty good while waiting on my lunch. I also tried the chicken Alfredo and my guest had the Cajun pasta. Both were very flavorful and tasty. Would definitely try again. Now the negative. Parking is horrible, maybe they should consider controlled parking. There were people in the parking lot ready to fight over parking. Usually it's a long wait to get seated but this time it wasn't and we arrived during shift change so we got a lovely waitress who later had someone take her table over but when the waiter arrived he wasn't as attentive and seemed not to care to much to serve us. The food was not up to par as it once was I have been going here for years and this is the first bad experience I've had here. Do not order the water it tasted like rusty tap water. It pains me to leave a bad review of this restaurant. But there was nothing good about this visit beside us leaving. I won't make this long. But from the start it was bad. We were told that there would be a 45 minutes to an hour wait. So we waited and then were told it was an hour to an hour and a half. No biggie, we waited. There were empty tables and they could have seated us earlier but they wanted to let the hour and 30 minutes expire before they seated us. Then once we were seated it was actually about two hours before we have server. So we were a little frustrated but no worries, we were enjoying our own company. So the server was nice and as efficient as he could be I guess. But when the food finally came out, all of the sides were cold. We were a party of six by the way. To me that states that my food was sitting in the back just waiting to be brought out. To add insult to injury, my son was served what looks like a medium rare steak. They offered to Give him another steak and get that 1 correct. Didn't think that they were going to send out the same steak. With what's going on in the world with the Corona virus right now, it is unsanitary to take food that has been touched and take it back and put it on a grill where other people's food is being cooked. That is highly unacceptable and disgusting. But that's what they did. Then the manager came out to the table and he really wasn't any help. He knew about the situation as it has been going on all day apparently. But his only alternative was to just keep remaking food and wasting our time. And finally he offered 25% off of our meal as if that was okay. I didn't want to argue I just wanted to leave. Also when they brought out the same steak and it still was not cooked appropriately. It should have been well done. The manager finally cooked steak himself and that one was good. But we weren't going to eat it. We tried to tell him that we didn't want it. The next meal was the chicken fried steak and it was undercooked. It was just one meal after the other that wasn't correct. My husband and I ordered the same thing. His was undercooked at First Sight. Mine looked okay. I had already eaten one of my chicken breast and it was fine. I just got home and tried to eat the other one and it is hard as a rock I couldn't even bite through it. Totally disgusting. We have wasted $40 tonight as well as our time. I don't feel like the manager was empathetic and a little 25% discount was an insult. Hopefully someone from the corporate office will see this and do something about it. I didn't get the manager's name but it was the manager on duty for March 8th 2020 in the evening time. Based off of the way everything went down today, I would not recommend anyone go here if you want food prepared in a clean environment. It is always best to cook at home, but sometimes you want to get out. We were celebrating the birthday and we could have celebrated anywhere else but we chose your establishment. You really need to do better because this was just unacceptable. This is all I can add in this one post because I don't want to talk about it no more on here. So much more I want to stay here, but I've already wasted so much time at this place I don't want to spend another minute in this space. Just take my warning and just eat somewhere else. read more

The wait times are always awful to get a table, once seated and ordered, the food has also took 25+minutes to arrive to the table, and they almost always screw up the order. I came here with my parents who are in town for the weekend and decided to take them to a restaurant that they haven't been to before so Cheddar's it was. When we went inside,I put our name down and the hostess asked for my cell phone number and I got a text back saying they would let me know when the table was ready. We waited for about 20 minutes before getting the text message that the table was ready. Once we were seated we started looking at the menu and since I had been here before I told them what was good. For the appetizer, we got the Santa Fe Spinach Dip and eight piece Chicken Tenders with honey mustard sauce. For our entrees, I ordered salmon, with a loaded baked potato and a house salad. I also ordered a skinny margarita, which was tasty. My dad ordered the fried whitefish with rice and a house salad as the sides. And my mom ordered the lemon pepper chicken with broccoli and a house salad as the sides. The salmon and lemon pepper chicken came on a bed of rice. We received our food quickly and our waitress and service were good. We had a great experience and my mom dad liked it so we will be back!!! read more

My husband & I have been to Cheddar's many times , but the last two weeks wasn't very good . Last week they didn't have one of their favorite appetizers. Said they were out of it . This week again they were out of it . I ordered med well steak house salad & sautéed mushrooms. I never got the mushrooms, got a bloody steak with broccoli & the crescent looked like someone stepped on it . Waitress never came back to refill our drinks. We visited on Father's Day and it was quite busy. I attributed the messiness to the busyness of the day. We returned today and it was still dirty. The lobby had trash on the floor, the glass on the doors had lots of fingerprints. There were three hostesses and what appeared to be a manager at the hostess stand, you'd think one or more could sweep and clean the windows. The restroom was messy Father's Day and messy today. Well Cheddars is amazing and I'm so glad it is finally opened. The only reason there is a star missing is because the wait times to eat at this restaurant are too ridiculous for them to no longer take reservations. There's a long wait time for food once you order as well. My hubby and I waited at least an hour for food and we knew it was an hour because we looked at our phones before and when we received our food. Wow ...From the moment my friends and I entered the door I knew we would have an awesome dinner...The greeter was extremely friendly and as she walked us to our table she informed us our server name would be named Kris...Well this young man provided outstanding customer service from the beginning to the end of our meal.He recommended several items and everything he recommended was truly excellent...Both of my friends ordered steak, ribs and shrimp...The steak was juicy fresh and extremely good, the ribs were tender and had a excellent favor...Both of my friends were extremely pleased with their meal...I had the vegetables plate due to dealing with my diabetes...The vegetables were excellent and extremely fresh...Kris our server also recommended some drinks and it was one of the best cocktails I have had in several years...and that is the truth ...The entire experience was excellent and Kris is one of the best servers I have had and it was an awesome experience...You must try Cheddars and ask for Kris...
