The food is amazing and the portions are generous! So far, everything I've ordered has been delicious. Prices are very reasonable for both the entrées and drinks. The only reason for 4 stars is the service -- not bad at all, but there's definitely room for improvement. I can't wait to bring my family!

The online waitlist is very helpful. The bartender and our server was exceptional. She was able to anticipate our needs, was friendly, polite, provided exceptional communication and prompt service. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The drinks were large, well made, and just like the tasty food were priced at much better than competitive prices!

One of my favorite places to eat! Upon approaching the building there are one set of doors with seating and the another set of door and a hostess area with additional seating. There is a fish tank on the wall to the left as you go down the walkway to the washroom. In the seating area/room to the left there is a bar. We all ordered ice water except one ordered Dr Pepper. My water came out with a dirty cup in which Serena quickly switched out for me. Even as I asked our server Serena what she recommend we did choose our favorites. Serena was very knowledgeable and provided many great options. One of which was the salmon which she also advised is a great seller. We started with the complimentary house Honey Butter crossaints. We then ordered a second order of crossaints and our choice appetizer was the chips and queso. We all ordered the double country fried chicken, two had double mashed and one had mashed and fries and ice water. We also asked for extra gravy. The last one chose the chicken tenders with fries and loaded mashed potatoes and a Dr. Pepper. One of the meals came out with double mashed potatoes instead of the mashed potatoes and fries. They quickly provided the fries that were ordered to be sure the order was correct. The restaurant is dimmer lit and inviting. Not too dim. The menu is clear and easy to read (and clean). This location is capable of handling large groups. As I was not feeling my best I did not this time, but I generally order the Cheddars Painkiller which is soo tasty in fact so good that there is a limit of 2. If you're looking for a good meal with a large portion at a fair value Cheddars is a perfect option.

Okay, felt like comfort food today and what came to mind? Cheddars Scratch Kitchen which always comes through with delicious, generously portioned, comfort food. Excellent service, wether dining in or curbside pickup. Did I mention, price is also reasonable especially with the large portion servings. Add to that caveat', they add these extraordinary delicious Croissants, that are mouthwatering delicious but also so fresh, like they came right out of the oven. Today, I had my fav, Buffalo Chicken Wrap with a side of Southern Green Beans (Yummy) and my husband had the Chicken Tender Meal with Broccoli Cheddar Casserole and the Green Beans for his side ... one word sums it all up, SCRUMPTIOUSLY Delicious. We will be back again and again and again. The restaurant ambiance is always well maintained also.

Food was good. Service was extremely slow. Took forever for drinks and appetizers. Server was very attentive. Nice and clean. No wait to be seated.

So we come here often to sit at the bar and watch football, but that may stop as I was told they are going to stop serving PROSECCO!!! Who stops serving Prosecco? That's like a go to wine for women. They seem to have made their menu smaller. My husband said his ribs were okay, but he's had better. I had a burger which was tasty. My husband had 2 beers, I had 2 Prosecco's, my husband ate ribs, and I ate a burger and our bill was $62.

I have to say that the whipped butter, but so good. It was like eating soft, whipped ice cream. Normally butter is so hard and not easy to spread on your bread. I don't usually like or eat tartar sauce, but I have to say the tartar sauce at Cracker Barrel was the best that I've ever tasted. Frank was my server. I came in Saturday at a busy time around 6:30pm. He was very busy, but took very good care of all of his customers. I saw how he touched base with every table that he had. Me being in CUSTOMER SERVICE business for 35 years, I would give him 4.5 stars. 1/2 Frank was back in customer service one month after not working in customer service for 6 years. He did an excellent job. Very attentive to his customers. Always on the move doing his figure 8 checking on his customers and taking orders. Frank was smiling laughing with his customers to the point that I was able to engage with his customers at the table across from me. Frank made me feel comfortable with that "can do" attitude, with an unforgettable smile which is very rare to see in customer service these days. I live in Round Lake Illinois, but I will drive to Kenosha's Cracker Barrel because food is good, great service and it's clean! Every restaurant has a little dust here and there and plus you can't see everything, but where I sat when I look up at the objects on the wall and ceiling, I could see they had been dusted. When dining room is clean, then I will feel comfortable that the kitchen is clean and sanitized. *Plus I want to say thank you to the cooks there Saturday evening March 21st 2026 for cooking & preparing such a delicious meal that will not be forgotten. Cooks are the people that we as customers forget to thank because they are behind the scenes. *Thank you Cracker Barrel for your team training. I can see how well your training works because all your employees during your rush hour Saturday evening were working together as a team. I give you 5 Stars

When we first sat down, the waitress informed us that there would be a 15-20 wait on food due to an order from a group of around 18 people which we understood. In the meantime, we did receive drinks and biscuits which were really good. However, the waitress was pretty sparse in her returns to our table. After about 30-35 minutes, we still hadn't gotten our food. Our waitress informed us it would be another 5 minutes. About 10 more minutes passed by, and by this time, the big group of 18 had gotten their meals and finished eating. We still hadn't gotten our food, and we just decided we'd had enough and canceled our order. To be fair, we probably just came on a one off bad night, but just be aware that this could happen again.

There's lots of parking in the gravel lot; several cute planters ring the entrance and outdoor patio. The cafe has several counter seats and maybe 10 tables indoors (there's also a covered outdoor patio with additional seating in warmer months). This is a first-come-first-serve sort of place; when you come in, you wait in line until a table or counter seat opens up. All of the waitstaff was cheerful and helpful and came around with fresh coffee a few times. I had a veggie omelet with a berry cup and sourdough toast. The veggies were cooked nicely with just the right amount of browning and flavor. There were a lot of interesting specials (country meatloaf with eggs and potatoes, for example) and the coffee and ice team were super fresh. We'll be back!

Legitimately a converted schoolhouse, you get the feel of that as all. As you walk in to the dining room. There is a nice covered porch area for outdoor seating. I could not help but wonder if being HISPANIC had something to do with it. What hurt the most was having to remind them that we were there before everyone else, just to finally be acknowledged. The food was average, but the service was cold and disrespectful. Even the woman who brought us the food had a terrible attitude. Nobody should feel invisible while simply trying to enjoy a meal with their family. Texas Roadhouse should be better than this.

As far as the bread and butter that they are famous for, my husband liked it but I didn't. ( starting your meal with sweet doesn't seem like a good idea to me) Fried pickles were good and crunchy ( although a bit salty) Ribs were tender but seemed to have too much condiment My husband's steak was good and perfectly cooked We had trouble with the sides as they were honestly not good The creamy corn was just watery The Caesar sals flavorless and the only seven thing was just the baked potato. We could come back but only if there are literally no other options around. Prices were good too
