The atmosphere is always very welcoming and friendly. Julie was my server very pleasant and attentive. The wait for the meal was average. The food taste really good and warm. She kept refilling my coffee so no need to ask for more. They even offer it to go cup if you would like to take some more coffee with. I love it here, I like going into the store look at everything that they have for sale all new items or clearance items. It just reminds me when I was a little girl since they do carry old style candy. It's a great place to come for breakfast or lunch if you get Julie as a server, you'll have a better visit.

Busy, busy place! It's nice that a friendly employee took our name and phone number at the door for a table. The wait was pretty accurate. I loved my hashbrown casserole main dish because it included eggs-your-way and biscuits. My husband loved his pancakes, but thought less of the scrambled eggs and bacon.

Cracker Barrel is our go to restaurant when we are on road trips. When we are on long trips, it's nice to stop in to a Cracker Barrel. We know that they are all going to be the same vibe and atmosphere and you can just kind of unwind and eat some good food. I love the Southern fried chicken and the chicken pot pie and my wife loves the meatloaf. The service is always great. The servers never try to push you out. We have been to dozens of Cracker Barrels all over the country. I just hope corporate doesn't screw this up with their rebranding.

It is a treat for us to eat at this Cracker Barrel when we head to Wisconsin. We love the ability to select from more than a limited choice of vegetables and other sides. Their biscuits are to die for and we always treat ourselves with them. Fabulous like always. Attentive service staff and nothing wrong with browsing in the old fashioned store. Saw some nice things that I considered purchasing and left with one.

I went to Cracker Barrel 2 times when visiting Kenosha and the first time was pretty good. I had a waiter named Jordan and he was so friendly that I decided to go a second time. 4/5 experience. This second time unfortunately Jordan wasn't my waiter. I went specifically for dessert, to try their cola cake which was sold out. The waiter recommended I try the peach cobbler. I'm not sure if this is a new way that they're serving peach cobbler but you can search on Yelp photos for the other peach cobbler that another person got or the photo on their menu and it looks completely different than this one. There was one scoop of vanilla ice cream and a peach sugary soup with some pieces of peach and pie crust at the bottom. If you don't have enough ingredients to make the dish the right way, please let your customer know so they can order something else.

Me and 3 of my girlfriends stopped here for breakfast. Country feel hasn't changed. Food was delicious and prices were good. Service was excellent. Love the gift store. Very comfortable relaxing environment.

I love a Cracker Barrel and always make sure to stop at one while traveling. This one was very disappointing. Tables were not cleaned after people left so it looked a mess. Friend ordered chicken and dumplings which came out so runny it looked like soup. Her biscuits were overcooked. I asked for one chocolate chip pancake. Waitress said I needed two. Pancake came out not fluffy - had a greasy feel to it. All the choc chips (not many) were all in the middle. I only ate one as that's all I wanted to start with and she asked if I wanted to take it home which I did not want to as it wasn't good. Really needs some work.

CB is known for its reliable, consistent, traditional southern comfort food. We decided to meet grandma here for Easter brunch. The place was packed! We put our name in and waited about 30 minutes for a table for four. It was well organized, and it gives you some time to browse their store with all kinds of knick-knacks and such. We sat down and ordered, and our meal came out less than ten minutes! As busy as they were, the service was attentive and quite good. This wasn't my first time at CB, and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered Grandpa's country fried breakfast. Includes two eggs, a side of hash brown casserole (a must try!), and chicken fried chicken. Everything came out hot and properly cooked. Highly recommended, especially if you are partial to southern food. Others in my group ordered collared greens and biscuits and gravy.

Arriving late and leaving early is my trademark Cracker Barrel move. They tolerate overnight parking in their parking lots by RVers and this is the best spot in southeast Wisconsin for it. Level parking, undisturbed, some noise from the highway. Sorry I didn't get breakfast, Cracker Barrel. If y'all would open at 6:00 am, I would. Maybe next time! Service: We arrived at 2:00pm and there was a waiting list. 35 minutes to wait so we sat outside. When called, we were seated at a table and it wasn't clean. There was syrup and ketchup on the table. When asked, the host (male) recleaned it but couldn't see that it needed to be scrubbed, so I helped out. The waitress took our order and brought back drinks, forgot a drink, and then quickly brought it back out. Food: We ordered food at about 2:45, it's now 3:20, and still waiting. Food arrived at 3:25. The peach cobbler came at 3:35. The hot chocolate is watery - 1 star The soft drinks were fine. Hash browns - 3 stars. Mac and cheese - 5 stars Loaded sweet potato - 4 stars Chicken strips - 4 stars Bacon - 3.5 stars Peach cobbler - 3 stars (tastes like canned peaches) French toast - 4 stars Biscuits and gravy - 3 stars 3 stars overall because yes it was busy, they could use a few more people to assist in cleaning, the main thing is the cook... needs more support and someone look at quality of food being served.

There is a Costco in New Berlin that is a smig closer to my home, but they don't have a Cheddars near them. The food is always fresh and so good. The service is fantastic every time I go. Today we started off with the complimentary croissants. My husband had the 6oz sirloin smothered in mushrooms and onions, a side salad and fries. I had the lemon pepper whitefish over rice, mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon and cut off the cob corn. It was absolutely delicious. I have had the ribs, several, several, and several times. Sometimes I will stop after Costco and get them for dinner. I get a whole rack and extra sides and it is dinner for the both of us. The ribs are so good here. Other great things that I have had are the chicken sandwich, the chicken pot pie, monte cristo, steak, philly cheesesteak, chicken alfredo, bourbon glazed salmon with shrimp, grilled shrimp alfredo, ribs and steak combo, and burgers of all kinds. Everything was so fresh and so good.

We ordered several appetizers, and they were all pretty mid. The buffalo shrimp was not cooked all the way through. The batter was still wet. The trio was not served hot. We all ordered our steaks medium well, but every single one came out well done. The main reason I came was for the Monte Cristo, and they had run out, which was extremely disappointing. The only positives were that my nephew enjoyed his burger, and my brother and sister enjoyed their drinks. Other than that, the entire visit was disappointing and a waste of money. Between finding a hair in the food, undercooked appetizers, overcooked steaks, and the restaurant being out of the one item I came for, I do not see myself coming back.

We were one of 5 tables in the entire place and stood in entrance for 5 minutes waiting for someone to seat us. We got seated and atmosphere is seemed great. Nicely decorated, comfortable booths, but something was off with the vibe. Not sure what but the staff we saw just didn't seem like they wanted to be there. It took forever for server to greet us and was not very warm or welcoming. Explained it was our first time here and response was nothing...except did we want to order drinks. Took forever to receive drinks then we ordered an appetizer of speciality dish wildfire shrimp just ok, tiny deep fried spicy shrimp with side of ranch. Just ok, had definite kick to it, if you like spicy. We placed our food order and again food took forever to come out. Salads were fresh. Bread was good. Filet which was supposed to be 6 ounces but seemed very thin, cooked more medium than medium well. NY strip steak was very thin too but cooked to order medium. Steaks had overpowering amount of seasoning on them. Baked potatoes were lukewarm at best and even though ordered loaded very little sour cream or butter. I would have asked for more but server never came back to check on us in timely manner. Had to use the butter that came with the bread but barely warm potato is unappetizing. It took forever to get our check too - no apology nothing. For the price $30-40 per person, there are MUCH better choices across the border in Illinois. Overall, drinks and bread are decent, I'd recommend driving another 20-30 minutes south and check out the steakhouses in Gurnee, Illinois, skip this location as service was slow and food was not great and served lukewarm. I want to start by saying that our server Sydney P was excellent. She was friendly, checked on us…read moreoften and had our experience been based on that- it would have been 5 stars! Unfortunately, that is not usually the case with service at El Camino. My husband and I had not gone back in a couple of years after they opened because of consistently bad and rude service. Their food was fine but even the best food isn't good paired with a bad overall experience. We decided to give them another try a few months ago and even though the service was a little better- it wasn't worth keeping them on our weekly rotation. My husband, daughter and I had gone there for dinner on Tuesday and as I said had a wonderful server. Both my daughter and I have had their steak tacos (filet and skirt), even though the flavor was fine, they leave the pieces SO LARGE that you chew forever on a bite of taco. This is not to mention that the tortilla does not hold up well to bites into these large clunky pieces. Because of this, I started ordering the Barbacoa tacos since that is shredded beef. However, my daughter doesn't like Barbacoa so she requested the cooks cut the meat smaller. The food came out and the pieces of steak were as big as ever. When I say that this could be a choking hazard for the best of eaters (let's forget about seniors, children, or people that may have dental issues) I mean these pieces are nearly the size of dice. We asked for a steak knife so that my daughter could finish prepping her own food (though she is not an employee of El Camino, apparently those who get paid to cook there, don't have to accommodate special requests of using their chef knives to cut steak before putting in tacos. As I watched her spend about 10 minutes deconstructing 2 of her 3 tacos and cutting up the meat and putting them back together (as it was getting cold), I asked for a manager. Nick came over to our table with a strange attitude. I said "Are you the manager?", as he did not introduce himself...at all!, he said "yes". I started by explaining that we asked for the meat to be cut smaller. He then starts to get defensive and argumentative saying how "everyone loves that dish", "everyone orders that dish", "There are NEVER any complaints about that dish". I had to interrupt him to explain that we were NOT complaining about the dish but the prep of the meat. He then says "Maybe that dish isn't for you". I said "So NONE of the steak taco dishes are for us because not only our request for safe size pieces was not accomodated but you are telling me that we take it or leave it???" He continued to talk over me and arguing until my daughter (who is very quiet and laid back) got mad and started explaining to him that he shouldn't be talking to his customers that way. Her and her husband order to go often and she explained that at home, she deconstructs her tacos, takes kitchen shears to cut the meat and then has to put them in the microwave to warm them up. Just because people don't complain doesn't mean they aren't unhappy about it. Instead of Nick listening and understanding what we were trying to do, he continued to talk over my daughter, and then snaps at her with "I'LL JUST TAKE IT OFF!". That set my daughter off. None of us needed nor wanted a free meal. We didn't ask for it, nor want it. We told him that. He finally asked what we wanted. I said that all I wanted was to share a suggestion of not only talking to his kitchen staff about accommodating COMPLETELY REASONABLE REQUESTS but to share with the other management our suggestion. That's it. We told him several times that we weren't complaining about the flavor, just the prep and that everything else was fine including the excellent service and that he, NICK, and NICK ALONE has ruined it for us. By the way- the ONLY way I knew his name is that I had to ASK HIM for it... We will NOT be back nor will my daughter and her husband order take out anymore. The food is fine but definitely not worth the complete disregard and disrespect of their customers! There are SO MANY better places that appreciate our business! Nick was on the right track- maybe EL CAMINO is not right for us....or anyone else.
