So this was our second time here. We were celebrating my brothers 25th birthday. They did the best they could to accommodate our large party of about 20-30 ppl. A few if our party did have to sit at an additional table but was across from our main table. But let's get to the reason you are reading this. This time I had the baby back ribs and as my wife had I informed me they once again fell off the bone. My wife enjoyed her chicken tenders and rib plate as well as my Son with his ribs and shrimp. My overall opinion is this place is pretty good the wait is still a wait on the weekends but I have yet to find d a reason to say "don't go here" My wife and Son said 5 stars , I say 4 because of the chicken fried steak that I had previously wasn't up to my standards read more

This place has all things good ole comfort food. They have the comfort classics such as pot pie, chicken fried steak or club sandwich along with other options like Asian salad. The drink menu is awesome and they have many great options to choose from. Service was good, little slow given it wasn't very busy the time we went. Ambiance is not what you would expect with the menu they offer. Feels more upscale and high end with the decor and style. Definitely a nicer sit down with friends or for business type feel. Very good stuff. The restaurant is set up into two sections, a large bar area and a large dining area, so yes it does get loud. My wife and I had the chicken fried chicken and the fish fillets. We ordered the dinner portions, since it was dinner time, and both came with two meats, making them large dinners. The chicken was very moist and delicious, as was the fish. The Texas toast and mashed potatoes were also good. They never brought croissants to us, but those looked good. We also had a sweet tea, which was delicious. Im not really a chain restaurant kinda gal but I was excited to try this place because of the diverse menu and there's usually a wait which is pretty indicative that people enjoy it! Three of us, two adults and a child, arrived on a Wednesday around 7pm and were seated immediately. I scrolled through the menu undecided for a long time, the waitress came back three times. Wanting to order everything on the menu didnt seem practical. Finally I narrowed it down to two, the New Orleans Pasta or Chicken Pot Pie. I wanted the New Orleans Pasta without sausage (I don't eat pork), but our waitress let us know that's not an option. Shoot! But she did make a recommendation, I got the chicken alfredo with the cajun alfredo sauce and a side salad. The child has quite the appetite so she got a small steak with French fries and broccoli. The adult that accompanied me ordered chicken strips and shrimp combo with fries, mixed veggies and a ceaser salad. The salads came out and our waitress let us know that the croissants were going to take some time. My friend was waiting on the edge of her seat for these croissants. We finished our salads and were still waiting on the croissants and I think our waitress could feel my friends agony because when they finally came out she said she threw in an extra for the wait. I love croissants but I didn't really get what the hype was about. The food finally came out! This pasta was AMAZING! Just the right about of heat, a great amount of sauce covering my noodles! Yum! I have to be totally honest, but I have been avoiding this place since they opened it in Thornton. A few people that I work with said that this place was "not good", "the food had no flavor", and someone even said "it was gross"... My father-in-law invited my wife and I out to dinner last night and guess where it was?? You guessed it! Cheddar's. Here's my take on why I gave it 5 stars... For starters, this place is decorated nicely. The restaurant was also kept very clean, even in the midst of a Friday dinner rush. All of the staff the we encountered were helpful and friendly. I believe our server's name was Harold, and he was awesome! Super friendly and knowledgeable in regards to the HUGE menu that Cheddar's offers. The food: the food was great and had tons of flavor. My wife ordered the Philly which was great (yes, I took a bite). I ordered the club sandwich and it was right on point. I also believe my mother-in-law ordered the Monticristo, which looked amazing! We also ordered appetizers (spinach dip/croissants) BOTH fantastic! You definitely need to order a few of the croissants! They are to die for... Overall a great experience and I will discontinue avoiding this place like the plague and we will definitely find our way back to Cheddar's in the very near future ! read more

They forgot multiple things from our delivery order... so we called and asked to speak to the manager and his response (6/21/23) was "I'm sorry but we have humans working for us, not robots." - Ok? Wasn't too bad! I wasn't expecting much since this place resembles a restaurant in Florida that was mediocre. But to my pleasant surprise it was good. My steak was cooked perfectly and didn't need any sauce or additives. I did order the steak and ribs and I took off a star for the ribs. I was NOT a fan of the baby back ribs. They were fattier than the average ribs and I didn't care for the sauce it had. Too sweet and just a lot of fat surrounding all the meat was a turn off. I hardly finished them and I love ribs so that sucked. Also order the fudge cake for desert and it was huge!! You need like 3 or 4 people to finish it. It was good, wish it came warm though. The box Kraft powder mac and cheese. And that's usually fine cause kids don't give a shit, that's the one they want. But this was a pretty legit mac and cheese and it seemed to be made from scratch. I ordered the monte cristo and it was great as well. And it was hot when it came to my table and i really like when i get my food and it's hot. Cheddars has s great looking building the the inside is impressive. They have a patio with fireplace and fire pit which is fabulous. The food is very well priced for the potions you receive. Love love love this place. Plentiful nearby parking, greeters are very friendly. Food is great. The steak tastes like the way I grill them at home. Menu is eclectic. Never have I seen so many combos with chicken tenders. Chicken tenders and steak, chicken tenders and shrimp, chicken tenders and ribs... Only negative which is not an impact is there aren't any collard greens on the menu but the rest of menu makes up for it. The bar staff Nathaniel, Jennifer and Jade are awesome. Completely ignored for 20 minutes after initially getting seated at our table, so we left. Wanted to take my mom out for a nice lunch, but left hungry, frustrated, disrespected, unwelcomed, and ignored unfortunately. Warning to all who are deciding whether to come to this particular location or not. We were one of the first 5 parties to arrive and be seated when they opened at 11am on Sunday. We were sat in a corner and in the 20 minutes we were there, not once were we asked for our drink order, served in any way, or even acknowledged. I kept watching servers pass by, serve other tables, etc. 15 minutes in, I started recording on my phone just to see if service was just slow or if we were actually being ignored. I recorded parties getting seated by the hostess and within a couple minutes of being seated, both parties I tracked had been greeted by their servers. The breaking point was when we saw food being delivered to tables we arrived with. Mentioned to the hostess as we walked out how we hadn't been served the whole 20 minutes we were seated at our table, and would be leaving because of it. We received a very casual, "okay, sorry" and pretty much continued on with regular business. After I walked out, I decided to come back in feeling I should at least share my experience with who I perceived to be the manager, who happened to be the same person who seated us originally. After taking a sec to realize I was someone he seated when they opened (cause initially he said "thanks for coming" when I walked back in), he did apologize but didn't really get a sense he was wanting to acknowledge wrongdoing except explain how there should have been servers there to serve us. The hostess then even recalled what number table we were and where exactly we were seated. Towards the end of the conversation he offered to seat us back down and serve us personally at his expense. After talking with my mom (who handled this situation with grace), we decided that one, I was not sure eating in a place while feeling disrespected, ignored, unwelcomed, and frustrated would be best, and two, didn't want to get a free pitty meal cause we weren't trying to scam the place (we just wanted to be regular patrons who got treated like every other customer), we decided to decline the ho-hum offer and leave. The offer was generous, but the delivery, care, and mannerisms of it seemed to not be genuine, not to mention ignoring customers that they seated for 20 minutes should have never of happened in the first place. Overall, just felt completely disrespected. First time this has happened to me to the point where I had to get up and leave due to not being served at all. What kind of business seats their customers only to be completely ignored by every staff member? Maybe the reason why I never see any other Asian people there when I've eaten all the times I have there, is because we're treated differently? As for past times I've been there, I can say the menu has lots of good options and the food is pretty good. Think it's a cool touch they list the calories next to the items. Have been there at different times and service was usually adequate and on par with other large busy restaurants. It sucks to have had this scarring experience at a place I wanted to continue to like and really didn't have an issue with, until today's experience. How my mom and I were treated will be remembered. I feel particularly frustrated with this experience because this all happened while I was with my mom. I would hope the staff will learn and do better. I don't believe (or at least hope) there was any ill/malicious intent, however they negatively impacted a family's experience and future outlook at this place. The lack or sense of any wrongdoing initially also did not help. I hope others have better experiences here and wish on no one that they experience what my mom and I did today. If this lack of customer service does not change, then this is a fair warning to all, that if you happen to be unlucky at this restaurant, you will be disrespected, ignored, and left hungry with no water, food, or as much as a hello, only to be made like you don't even matter as a customer when you decide leaving is a better option than waiting to see if someone will come greet you and take your initial drink order. We generally love Cheddar's as a whole. My fiancée is from Texas and has gone there for years. This was an overall great experience. Food was absolutely delicious. My fiancée enjoyed the Monte Cristo which is his go-to sandwich at Cheddar's. The raspberry preserves was tangy and married well with the creaminess of the cheese and the salt from the meats. The toasty outside of the bread was just an additional accent to the flavors and textures. I enjoyed the sirloin with the broccoli cheddar casserole. It was creamy and cheesy. Service was decent. Only reason for four instead of five stars is a hair in my fiancee's Dr. Pepper and the waitress was a bit rude when we inquired on the status of his drink. read more

I will start out by saying Cheddars is one of my favorite restaurants. We have one very close to our house we go to in Texas all the time. We had traveled all day was tired and hungry. Came upon this Cheddars and knew this would be a good place to get a good meal. Our waitress was very nice but service was super slow. They were not very busy at the time. We ordered ribeyes medium rare. They came out well done and were like shoe leather. Portions were small compared to what we were used to back home. After sitting in his seat for a bit, my husband tried to lift up his foot and it was stuck and I mean really stuck to the floor. Have no idea what got spilled earlier in the day but it did not get cleaned up. This Cheddars needs better management. read more
