We started with the spinach dip and - YUM! Definitely recommend this! It was too much for two people, so you can definitely share with three or four people. We arrived at 530pm on a Sunday and there was a bit of a wait. We decided to grab two open seats at the bar and that worked perfectly. Service was great! I ordered salmon and macaroni and broccoli since it came with two sides. They have a lunch size portion and dinner. You can get either at any time. I was hungry so I did dinner! We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and asked to sit in the bar. The bar area has nice seating at the bar, a couple of high top tables and a number of booths. The bar area itself is a bit boring looking and lacks personality. Behind the bar is a large fish tank that you can see through to the dining room. The fish tank is even boring. There are no pictures on the wall and the place is a bit dark. It really could use some sprucing up. It's not dirty or run down, just very boring. We were seated right away but waited a bit for our waitress to come by our table because she she must have been on break. Once she arrived, she took our order and our drinks were delivered to our table in a very timely manner. I ordered a Pain Reliever. It was the best Pain Reliever I've ever had. The cream of coconut gives the drink a smooth taste and the toasted coconut on the rim just took the drink to a new level. The drink was nicely garnished with a fresh pineapple wedge and cherry, and it was well balanced. It was just delicious. I had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. The steak was nicely breaded and fried with a nice crispy batter. The inside was tender and not dry. The mashed potatoes were delicious and had the right amount of lumps in it (I like my mashed potatoes a little lumpy) and these were perfect. The gravy was nicely seasoned and obviously made from scratch and not some packet. My dining partner had the ribs and loved them. I tasted them too and they were really tasty. They had a nice bark on the outside but were tender and juicy - fall of the bone good!! He said he'd have the ribs again in a heartbeat. The prices here are very reasonable. The serving sizes are nice too. The service was great and the cocktails were outstanding. Our server was super friendly and very attentive. She was great and we enjoyed her serivce. Whomever was the bartender on Superbowl Sunday afternoon does an excellent job. I was bummed I did not have some cash on me to tip her separately as I like to do but I had spent my cash before we arrived. She certainly deserved an extra tip but my fail for not having cash to tip her extra. read more

I had a very pleasant first experience with Cheddar's. I got takeout for myself and liked the sound of the bourbon glazed salmon with rice and 2 choice sides (corn off the cob and steamed veggies - mostly broccoli and carrots). My order was ready when I arrived and got friendly service from the bartender. Everything was packed well and stayed warm. The salmon was cooked well. It fell apart in the good way, and the bourbon glaze was a very nice addition to give it some savory sweet flavor. The corn was buttery, a little sweet and fresh. The veggies could have used a little more steam to soften them up but still fresh and good. The rice was also a welcome addition and went well with the residual bourbon glaze. Nice sized, filling portion. Overall good quality food at fair prices and good service. The interior looked inviting so looking forward to dining in down the road. read more

Walking in, the restaurant had a great ambiance and was decorated nicely. We were seated right away on a Saturday evening but it was busy! Happy hour is 2-6 weekdays. The painkiller drink was giant, strong and incredibly tasty. Also super affordable! The same drink could be $12-14 elsewhere. Be kind to yourself and order a snazzy beverage :) Our waiter was attentive and friendly. I ordered the blackened salmon with a side of broccoli cheddar casserole (per recommendation of the waiter) and mashed potatoes. Everything on my plate was awesome. The salmon was cooked through while still moist and glistening on the inside. The broccoli cheddar casserole was tasty and full of flavor. We had an issue with bees on the patio; several were circling us before our food was even brought out. Luckily we mentioned it to our waiter and he was able to move us inside a few minutes later to finish our meal. Ate lunch here this week, great place. Huge, lots of seating indoor and out. Nice choices on menu. Hubs had Monte Cristo. He liked it. He got Salad, soup and half a Monte cristo. Salad was large and delicious. They serve a croissant, that is the lightest fluffiest flaky croissant ever eaten. Served with the salad. Potato soup was tasty. I had the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Hot hit fries the best way to eat them. Bacon tasted a little off, didn't get sick so much have been just me. I at some then pulled the rest out. I didn't finish the burger, not because of bacon because of it being so big. The only downfall was not being asked if I wanted a refill on my tea. Our server was busy yes, however several other servers and such passed by our table several times. No one offered. I didn't interrupt as they were busy. Anyway over all a great time and we will be back, next time I will have my bottled water with me. read more

There were six of us at lunchtime, and from the time we walked in the service was outstanding. Our server, Madyson was so attentive, and so very friendly. She made our lunch very enjoyable. She made excellent recommendations on food choices, and as my husband said we felt like we were the only ones she was waiting on. Do not order from this restaurant via Grub Hub. The $16 nachos will be soggy by the time they get to you, and they are not that good. The $20 chicken fried chicken meal was completely missing from our order. The Monte Crisco is good. The spinach dip was a solid lump by the time it arrived and super salty. Since my teens entire entree was missing, he ended up eating the 3 chicken tenders (appetizer) and some plain tortillas chips. I don't understand why we have to tip Grub Hub drivers on the total purchased, then they get to retain the large tip even when part of the order is completely missing and the order arrives late. I met a friend here for lunch. This is one of my favorite restaurants in this are. We were greeted promptly but had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. (This restaurant does not take reservations). We chose to dine on the patio because it was a nice day. The menu here is extensive, with everything from steaks, ribs, seafood, pasta and salads. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and the chicken fried chicken ($13.99). My friend ordered the lunch portion of lemon pepper catfish filets served on a bed of rice with a side of mashed potatoes ($11.99). We both had a Caesar salad to start. Service was prompt and friendly. Regular menus are back on the table, along with ketchup, salt and pepper. Masks are not mandated and barely anyone was wearing one. Social distancing was being observed on the patio, but inside, it looked like all of the tables were full. Wait staff were not wearing masks. Servings are plentiful and I almost always end up taking food home. They have a fully stocked bar. There is an enormous parking lot. Take-out and delivery are available. read more

Love me a good Cheddar's experience! We are waiting for our local Cheddar's building to be completed and for it's grand opening this summer. While we wait, when we travel, if there is a Cheddars- best bet we will stop in! I stopped in to the Thornton, CO Cheddar's for lunch while on business travel. It was a top notch lunch! I got my favorite lunch meal- the Monte Cristo with a baked potato. (and YOU KNOW we enjoyed some DELICIOUS honey butter croissants!) Unfortunately, on Dec.15 at around 4/5 pm, for my birthday I had asked if my other family (visiting from the springs) wanted to try it since it would be their very first time. HORRIBLE! Our waitress forgot most of our food items, it took nearly 1.5 hours just to get our food. We didn't order appetizers just drinks (water, soda, lemonades and a beer/shot) and food. So we all got our orders and so far the service had been sub par. None of us received our fries. One of our party members food was iced cold and therefore had to watch everyone else to eat (and she wanted us to try it too). I was hoping to make my "meal" to a kid's portion (due to dietary restrictions) and was told flat out no. So my youngest is eating my fries since her Mac and cheese is a bit on the cool side and that's all I could have done (hence why I eat kids meals). All staff we encountered were super friendly and accommodating. Aryan was great and attentive. The food quality was great. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I got the bourbon glazed salmon and my husband got the sirloin. They were both well prepared and his was cooked the right temp and nice and tender and full of flavor. I've always loved Cheddar's because they focus on quality and the prices are reasonable and grew up eating there in GA. We would go more often if there was a location closer to Fort Collins! read more

Super bummed. Not every visit is going to be a 5 star visit, but tonight was really disappointing for a restaurant that is use to heavy volume. The hostess took my number do wrong after speaking to two other hostesses two different times, and when I finally called them after twenty minutes they told us we would be sat immediately. We went inside and waited only a few minutes but were placed in a far, dark, cold corner where no one spoke to us, greeted us, or possibly even knew we were there. We tried to speak out to a server walking by and finally got the attention of a busser to notify someone. After five more minutes, we left. Not mad, just bummed and now after an hour, very hungry.
