This was my first visit to a Cheddar's. I came in for lunch on Saturday and was craving Chicken Fried Steak. I was sat immediately. I guess I beat the crowd since it wasn't terribly busy , but there were several tables with families. When I left though , the parking lot and the restaurant was full then. Good timing for me. My waitress was Olivia and she was very attentive and informative since I told her it was my first time. She answered questions and brought me a refill before I had to ask for one and gave me a sweet tea to go when I paid the bill. Now for the food. I had the Chicken Fried Steak on top of Texas Toast , Mashed Potatoes , White Gravy on both , Green Beans , Sweet Tea , and the Complimentary Croissant with Butter. The Chicken Fried Steak came out perfect , not too thick not too thin , good breading , hot , and the gravy was pretty good. It was on a piece of Texas Toast which I'm not used too , but it was fine. Mashed Potatoes were thick , not too creamy , and good. The gravy went well with both and I did add some pepper since I like mine more peppery . Green Beans , well they threw me off. I was trying to find out what the strange flavor was in them and I had to ask Olivia. She told me it was Sugar , what ? I knew I was tasting sweet and thought it was Honey which would also be kind of weird in Green Beans. I saw little pieces of Onions and she told me they use Bacon and Sugar and I think Butter. When I make Green Beans I use Garlic Salt and Butter and sometimes Bacon , but not Sugar. Complimentary Croissant was just okay , but I would've preferred a Yeast Roll with Cinnamon Butter. Sweet Tea was just right also. I'm originally from South Carolina and sometimes back home it's really sweet , but as I've gotten older I like it a little toned down , but not under sweet. I talked to Olivia about the Baby Back Ribs and will be back to give those a try and maybe bring my Son and his Wife with me. The restaurant was clean and organized and the staff was friendly. I also got a Veteran Discount which I appreciate. I would recommend to anyone if they've never tried a Cheddar's. read more

Service alright and although it was Mother's Day our party of 8 was seated in about 20-25 minutes. Food was average at best. Ordered a burger and fries. Asked for medium for the burger and it was at most medium rare. Fries were like warm by the time they got to the table. Restaurant was clean and neat but we were seated near one of the kitchen entrances so got to listen to the employees yell "corner" every 30-60 seconds. Not impressed. From scratch? More like from a can. I had the Key West Chicken and Shrimp covered in pineapple salsa. Sounds good, until you realize the pineapple Is from a can. Not fresh at all. We ordered the Monster Cookie for dessert, don't waste your money. It appears to be a cookie opened from a plastic bag and covered in Hershey's sauce. Meh. Where did the quality of food go? Service was great! The young lady waiting on us was excellent. I even commented on how fast our food came out. The negative was not being hot. Food has to be mostly already prepared. Husband had the pasta dish that came out just room temp. And I the Dijon Mustard Chicken n mushroom dish. Both were good, portion size. We were served 2 of the Honey croissants at first seating. June 8 2026, had a late lunch. My crispy chicken salad was delightful. My hubby's hamburger was juicy and terrific beyond good. We had carrot cake and coffee and I usually don't like carrot cake. Was passing through town with my wife and kids over the weekend and decided to stop in for a quick bite. The food was fine but feel like it's necessary to point out the unprofessionalism of one of your waiters that we experienced. I believe his name was Ronnie. While I'm no fan of criticising someone's appearance I feel there's a certain level that must be met when working in hospitality. Ronnie did not meet even the minimal standards of this, it was if he rolled out of bed and headed straight into work. At one point we made a comment that the steak wasn't what we would describe as "rare" and instead of taking on the feedback he felt the need to be argumentative for no reason. Again, the food was fine but unfortunately the lack professionalism and personal hygiene of Ronnie kind of put a sour note on our visit. Thank God for Julian B. at the Yukon location; he truly saved the night. I decided to take my four children out to dinner, and after a spontaneous "spin of the wheel," we landed at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. When we arrived, we were immediately seated, which felt promising at first. Unfortunately, that was where the good impression ended. After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes without a single person greeting our table. Anyone who has waited with four hungry children knows that 10 minutes feels like an eternity. During that time, several servers walked past us without acknowledgment. Looking back, it felt like we were being avoided, possibly because staff were preparing to clock out. We were made to feel invisible. The only person who made eye contact was Julian, who was clearly busy working in the kitchen. Because I am a regular customer of Julian's, he noticed us, came over, apologized, and immediately took our full order. From that moment on, everything ran smoothly. Our food came out on time, the service was attentive, and my children were finally able to relax and enjoy their meal. Julian was kind, observant, and genuinely caring. He immediately recognized how long we had been waiting and took responsibility, (something no one else had done). He truly made our night. What disappointed me further was my interaction with management. I asked to speak with the manager and calmly explained our experience, including the long wait to be greeted and how Julian stepped in to rescue the situation. Unfortunately, the manager struggled to empathize and did not validate our experience. Instead of offering a genuine apology and explaining how they would prevent this from happening again, he shifted blame onto Julian, saying he was too busy to get to our table sooner. A better response would have been to acknowledge the poor service, apologize sincerely, and explain what steps would be taken to ensure that no other family experiences the same thing. That did not happen, and it left me feeling unheard and disappointed. I am incredibly grateful for Julian. He is a gentle soul, attentive to details, and genuinely cares about his guests. However, due to the lack of accountability from management and the overall inattentiveness of the staff, I am unsure if I would dine at this location again. It was frustrating to see multiple employees standing around and socializing while our table went unnoticed. I am sharing this review in hopes that management takes it seriously and implements changes in their service practices. Guests should never feel ignored, especially families with children. Julian deserves recognition for going above and beyond in an environment where others simply did not. read more

I love this place! They do everything good and a few items on the menu are great. IE, the chicken fried steak is top shelf! Bring your appetite, servings are hardy and the gravy is out world. By far, the worst Cheddar's I've ever visited. I was told the bar was open seating, so I sat at a table and was completely ignored for 10 minutes, so I left my table and sat at the bar and was immediately greeted. My salmon was so overcooked that I couldn't eat it, my baked potato was undercooked, my margarita was as so weak that I left it on the bar, I waited over 30 minutes for my ticket and I was sitting at the bar. Dropped in for an evening meal after being out all day without prepping anything for our dinner. We arrived shortly before 6:30 and were seated immediately. Our waitstaff greeted us promptly taking our drink orders and returned quickly with our drinks and some of those delicious croissants topped with honey butter. She came back shortly and took our orders, I asked for the Salmon (my favorite and really the only entree I ever order at Cheddars ) along with a side salad and steamed broccoli (delicious ). My husband ordered the chicken tenders with a loaded bake potato and a side salad. The salads came out quickly and the ranch dressing as always was very tasty. He would have loved a couple of onion rings on his salad but forgot to ask (although I am sure they would have added them). Soon our dinner arrived, she place dish in front of me and placed his second. I quickly realized they had plated grilled shrimp for me instead of the salmon. The waitress swung into action and quickly returned the shrimp to the kitchen leaving the broccoli for me to nibble on while they prepped an order of Salmon. In short order she returned with piping hot, perfectly cooked salmon place on a bed of rice and another helping of broccoli. She apologized for the mistake taking full credit for (hearing) writing it down wrong which I admire. She left us to eat our meals but checked on us a couple of times. The time it took from parking to departing was 42 minutes total. That included the cooking of a second entree for me. Nothing to complain about here!! The restaurant is quiet with tables and booths placed so as not too close to other dinners. The lighting is not bright but enough so that you don't have to use the flashlight on your phone to read the menu. Very pleasant atmosphere to enjoy dinner with friends and loved ones. read more

We reordered a previous order that we had about a month ago because it was pretty good, not so much this time. The chicken fried steak was over cooked, the fries were under cooked, and the order of croissants were cold with cold butter drizzled on top. We ate a late lunch at Cheddars Saturday and though the Google ratings were not great I was only pleased with atmosphere, service, and quality of the restaurant. The waiter was perfect. Attentive, informed and paid attention while being polite and the perfect amount of social. The food was served very quickly and I asked him when we initially sat to put a to go order in for me to take home and he remembered half way through the meal and asked me if I was ready to put it in. We had the Cheddars Trio for an appetizer and Wisconsin cheese bites. My son had a grilled cheese meal and we got a Buffalo chicken wrap to go. Would suggest all of them. We were seated in a section where the server had us and one other table. We sat there almost 10 minutes with no greeting or anything. The server walked by us and met my husbands gaze once and mine once. No acknowledgement, no greeting, no comment to us, just ignored us. I've never been treated so rudely and ignored at a restaurant before. Several other servers walked by with nothing said to us. 10 minutes is a long time to wait in an EMPTY restaurant. We planned to eat at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen a couple of days ago because the husband and I were running errands very close by and it's somewhere we've never been. The minute I stepped in, even while wearing a facemask, glorious smells just came rushing at my face. The place smells like a bakery that's churning out buttery delights nonstop. The hostess was extremely attentive. She showed us to a booth type table and noted that the husband was struggling a little in the space department. She moved us immediately to a new seating area and made a point of asking him a couple of times to be sure that he was more comfortable. Said she'd be upset if he told her porky pies. I found that too cute! Our server showed up shortly after and immediately set down two honey butter croissants in front of us. My eyes lits up because I've read many good things about them and had planned on ordering one or two anyway. As always, we've done our homework before going someplace new for a meal and have already studied the menu and decided what we will order the night before. Famished, we didn't hold back on the salads that we thought we'd wait and see. Our order was a Trio Sampler, a caesar salad, a house salad, and a chicken fried steak for each of us. The croissants were warm, subtlely sweet, buttery, flaky, airy, and just a delight. The Trio Sampler didn't take too long, the spinach dip came out sizzling and the buttermilk chicken tenders hot, crispy, and so so so very good! The queso dip wasn't as impressive as the other items but it was decent. The salads were crisp and fresh, but we wish we held back as the Trio Sampler portion was a lot for two people. The chicken fried steak was crispy and flavorful .... and we could only eat half because we were so stuffed by then and couldn't bear to consider dessert. Oh, I also ordered a coconut and pineapple mule. I don't usually drink before 5 o'clock but it was labelled as "limited time only" and I'm a bit of a sucker for that I LOVE Cheddar's and, from asking around with friends, they are regulars here, so it looks like we will be too from now. So disappointed in this restaurant. Last night my husband and I tried to have dinner together, however with the constant mess ups, his dinner came out 20 minutes before mine due to the waitress getting my order wrong . Constant mistakes including our drink order ( it was tea!) . No croissant. When my husband asked about them the 2nd time, her reply was why didn't you ask about them. He told her he did. She asked who he spoke with and when he said you, she walked away brought croissants to our table. No plates. This is our last visit.. Horrible experience. First time going to Cheddar's and frankly I wasn't expecting much. It's just not my usual type of place, but I have to say I couldn't have been more surprisingly pleased with our first time there. First off, I was impressed with the prices. With all the crazy prices in this post-covid apocalypse we are supposed to accept as normal, Cheddar's is the first restaurant Ive been to that seems to have reasonable prices. Several meals on the menu under $10, and another group of entrees between $10-$17. The prices seemed very fair, many in both categories that I wouldn't hesitate to get. I hadn't ordered a steak at a restaurant in forever but decided on the 6oz sirloin with coconut shrimp with real mashed potatoes and sweet corn. It was delicious. $16.99. Kate had the buffalo chicken rolls for like $10 and she liked them. She did mention they could use a bit more "buffalo" but they were good nonetheless. If it were up to me they could keep the stupid ranch and gimme some blue cheese and I'd be happier, but that's just me. Our server, Heather was spectacular. She was quick, pleasant, and on her game. Always enjoy my meals at cheddars! This location is nice and spacious, seems good for large groups. I LOVE the texas painkiller (for those who drink, highly recommend! ). Our family came in for the first time and had the best experience! The restaurant was very clean and welcomin, and server Anthony gave some of the best service we've had in a long time. He was extremely nice & helpful when answering all of questions, as well as very attentive to everything that we needed! For food, we started off with 2 different appetizers and the delicious rolls, followed with the New Orleans pasta and the pot pie (+kids meals), then ended with the carrot cake and the fudge cake -everything we had was fresh and tasted amazing!
